Wonderful hotel!
I was there on a business trip for several days. It is located close to the very center, you can walk everywhere. By itself it looks like new, very clean and tidy. A good classic "European" breakfast, polite and well-trained staff.
This hotel is a great option for staying there for a few days. If I go to Almaty again, I will definitely stay there

a normal hotel for one or two nights.
The price tags are clearly overpriced, the breakfasts are tasteless and quite staggering in quality.
The cleaning is good and of high quality. The reception is good.
The location is in the golden square.
The rooms are small. Glass doors to the toilet and shower are not always convenient.

A new hotel. Everything is clean and tidy. But the kitchen is so-so. Breakfast is scarce. Rooms are deprived of space for work in the room. There's nowhere to put even a laptop. There are no cupboards, there are shelves. If you live with a colleague, you have to hide your underpants in a suitcase. The closet is still convenient and your things are not on public display.

The hotel employee very aggressively and clearly provoked me into a fight for throwing a cigarette butt into the "guest trash" which is in the open access on the street. To my reasonable question where it says that this is a trash can only for guests (of course there is nothing like that), he quite clearly hinted that he would now take me to the back room and "show me where it is written".
I don't know how good this hotel is, but people who are obviously not burdened with intelligence work there.
