We traveled around Georgia for 2 weeks and on the last day decided to have lunch in Stepantsmid. We bypassed several cafes and were stunned by the prices, 1.5-2 times more expensive than in all other cities. We found Kazbegi Good Food, the price here is like in a good cafe in Tbilisi. We took the same thing we always take - kharcho and Adjarian khachapuri. Kharcho tastes like water with rice, they put a lot of meat, but there is no taste of broth at all, as if spices do not exist in their kitchen. Adjarian khachapuri is smaller than usual, they put not a yolk, but a whole egg there, so they also baked it to the state of scrambled eggs, there was little cheese. The dough in khachapuri was delicious, but the overall impression of the dinner remained negative.
