A small airport. Everything is nearby. For shopping lovers, you can arrange everything for a tax free refund (customs, bank) on the ground floor. There are many coffee shops both downstairs and upstairs and after the security area, Italians love coffee!
And remember! Italians are in no hurry when or where, so the queue for registration moves in its own mode...
But don't worry, the plane won't leave without you. 😉

The airport is small, but convenient, and has everything you need. The food prices are quite adequate (ananchini a la ragu is a great snack for 2.9 euros). I recommend going through passport control closer to boarding, since the waiting room is very small and, of course, you will not be able to return back.

The airport is small but convenient. You can arrange free taxis on the ground floor at the entrance. They ask you to provide only large and expensive purchases. I'm not interested in small things. City buses often run from the airport, you can pay with the driver. Italians are very leisurely, so after landing at Catania airport, the hustle and bustle ends.
