The main advantages are location and price.
Close to Kata and Karon, there is everything you need nearby. The hotel is on a hill, this should be taken into account if you are of an age.
The rooms (Bungalows) are small, with minimal amenities. Refrigerator, double bed, wardrobe, TV, kettle. The faucet in the sink was not working at the entrance. We told the guy who checked us in, and he fixed it within an hour.
They didn't take the deposit. We don't expect much from breakfast, I think we should have bought a tour without breakfast, next to the Semerochka, where there is water and ready meals. A budget cafe was found not far from the hotel. In Thailand for the third time, it might have been worth flying wild.
The hotel does not pull three, there are many problems, the staff solves them as the problem itself is identified. If you don't say it, they won't fix it. The audibility is very good. There is only one double outlet in the room, where the refrigerator is turned on (very quiet, surprisingly). There are 2 bottles of water in the refrigerator with a capacity of 0.6 liters. We wonder if they are renewable.
There are many exchangers nearby.
There are ants in the room (just a couple), the linen may not be perfectly clean, the router is connected, but it does not go online (they gave access to another router). Condey is half dead. The locks in the bungalows are barely alive.
We are on a site with 7 bungalows, there are only Russian speakers here.
Compared to 2012, the ruble exchange rate has tripled, plus the prices themselves in Thailand have increased (in the 12th year, coconut was bought on the beach for 30-40, in the store for 19, now it's 70 baht). But if you take fifteen hundred euros with you for two people for 10 days, then you can live.
It's a beautiful beach, but there are a lot of people, and the beach is big.
The hotel has a small swimming pool, for a maximum of 4 people.
We flew through Fun@Sun, met normally, delivered too. I was surprised that the guide didn't say a word about the peculiarities of Thailand (you can't disrespect the king, for example, putting money in your back pocket). In 2022, grass was legalized, now there are a lot of "smoking rooms" everywhere.
The money itself has changed, we brought 50 old baht with us, we don't know yet if it can be used.
The money was changed immediately at the airport (200 euros), the exchange rate was 1k31.76, which is higher than the one Googled on the Internet, they were worried that the earo was cheaper than a dollar. It is better to change the amount from 100 euros/ dollars, then the exchange rate is higher (I'm not sure if this will play a role in official exchangers).
Thailand has great T-shirts, wear-free, relatively cheap, and strong alcohol. Let's look for "Blend" and see if it is possible to get by social bus (100bat) to Patong with its Jangceylon (local shopping mall).
Current as of 1.02.2025
We are currently at the hotel, we stopped by yesterday 06.11.2024, the first surprise was to see the reception in the form of a booth with concrete floors, a copier covered with a towel and a tired sofa. Seeing our surprise, the receptionist took an air freshener, a key and left. Five minutes later he returned, offering to follow him. After seeing us to our room, he hurriedly disappeared. The room smelled like an air freshener, there was no shower, the bed linen and towels were dirty. The sofa is covered in sand, and a fan is running instead of an air conditioner. It's scary to go to the shower and even sit on the toilet. After a walk, we returned to the room, where there was a terrible smell (the air freshener had worn off), if things smell like this, they probably won't be washed anymore and it will be impossible to even put them on, the suitcases are unpacked.
We've been to different three-star hotels, but it probably only stretches by one. The outdoor dining room is a separate shock, but they said that breakfast was brought to the room, the appetite was gone.
People!
If possible, do not take rooms here.
When we were choosing on the Internet, there were good photos, but in reality it's just a horror.
It smells like sewage, it seems that these rooms are for those staff. Breakfast is not ready by 8:00, even the cook is not in place.
A very good place (and relatively inexpensive). We were hospitably welcomed. The room is not new, but everything you need is there and in good condition. I took higher rooms. The hotel is away from the noisy streets, quite quiet. A possible disadvantage is that it takes quite a long time to walk to the beaches.
Nice and clean. Linen and towels are not changed every day, but that's okay. The houses are located on a hill, in the early days it was very difficult to climb
