The location of the hotel is excellent, the rooms are very clean, cleaning is carried out every day. The breakfast is wonderful: omelette, eggs, waffles, French fries, yogurt, various types of jams, toasts, fruits and many other options. The pool is beautiful with a wonderful view and always clean. Within walking distance you can find everything you need: 7/11 shops, pharmacy, restaurants — everything is very close.
The hotel is located on Kata beach, 5 minutes on foot. There is a small pool on the roof with a wonderful view. The room was very pleased: good repair, new bed linen, view from the balcony. The breakfast is decent, there is even porridge and pancakes, which is rare in Thai.
I'll start from the end. Everything that is bad written about this hotel in the reviews is the real truth.
1. Noise.The hotel has two types of rooms: the "front" with a view of the road and the "back" with a view of the courtyard. We had a rest with a group of 4 adults. We were given two front rooms, so no one slept the first night, because the noise from the road is unbearable. We managed to change one number after 2 days, when it turned out that we had bought one "front" and one "back" number.
2. Repairs.The "front" rooms are very old and renovated, the "back" room looks more decent, the renovation is fresh, but at the same time in our room ("back") there was eternal twilight in the bathroom/toilet, because one of the 2 lamps was working.
3. Cleaning. Well, as if it didn't exist. The girls came, they washed the bed twice, sometimes not all the garbage was taken away, they left the water and that was it. Towels and linens are supposedly changed after three days, so we had to go and ask for towels to be changed after at least 5 days. There are no dryers in the rooms, and this is also extremely inconvenient.
4. The stove. Actually, what this hotel was about was the stove, because some of us have problems with the digestive tract and the stove was our reinsurance. There is a stove, but there are no dishes at all, neither in the cupboards nor at the reception. No matter how many times we went shopping, we didn't find any dishes.
5. Breakfast items. They're so monotonous that it's not even decent. Rice, noodles, carrots, cucumber, tomato, greens, toast (there was always a queue for them, despite the fact that the hotel is very small), sometimes potatoes, sometimes ham or sausages (soy).
6. The benefit of civilization. There was no electricity from 9:00 to 18:30 at that time, there was no water, that is, no washing, no going to the toilet, everyone solved their problems on their own.
7. From the good: the balcony is spacious enough with a table, we were sitting there in the 4th, and that was the end of the plus hotels for me. It's not far to the sea, 7-10 minutes. Nearby there is a great cafe Gagarin, various footcourts, *seven-eleven*
8. One of the features of Thai hotels: for some reason, they have glass in the wall between the room and the shower (frosted somewhere, where the blinds are covered), the glass is located opposite the headboard of the bed and if someone went to the toilet at night, half of the room will be illuminated.
I don't recommend the hotel to anyone. I am very surprised by the good reviews and ratings. The photo shows the dirt in the rooms, plus ants. I was in Ta for the 2nd time, I regret that I did not choose the hotel I was in earlier, I repeat, I bought the reviews and the availability of the stove.
