I liked everything about the hotel. Smooth access to the sea, large sandy beach, green area, good food. There was a lot of seafood, varied. There are no crowds in the dining room. It seemed to me both times that the loading of the hotel was incomplete. Accommodation in two-storey buildings. Large rooms. But when we arrived for the second time, the impression was overshadowed by the incompetent divorce of the staff for money. Allegedly, a pillow was missing in the room... They were already in a hurry to get to the airport, so the husband silently gave the money. If it weren't for this unpleasant incident, I would say that everything is fine. But we must keep in mind that the hotel is located in the desert and animation is also difficult. It's not suitable for those who like to hang out. If you need a relaxing holiday, a good entry into the sea, and the staff is not afraid of beggars, then you can consider it.

Very well maintained and beautiful territory , lots of greenery and flowers . The beach is sandy with a smooth approach . The sea is calm and very clean. The food at the hotel is meager, there are almost no fruits , there are two types of sweets in different forms . Vegetables and cereals are the main diet . The rooms are dirty, the furniture is all dilapidated and dusty. There were 6 days , the room was cleaned once . They asked for water in the room at the reception. There is nothing but sand outside the hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly. We had a rest in early November 2024. The weather and the water are gorgeous, very warm .

The hotel is large, the territory is very green, like in a park, everything is trimmed. The beach is probably the best! sandy approach, depth. They are constantly being cleaned. There is animation on the beach, there are hammocks, swings, a branch of the main restaurant where you can have breakfast and lunch. There are different types of meat, even shrimp. The menu in the main restaurant and on the beach is almost the same, which is very pleasing. There are rooms with a new design, they clean well. The only thing is that the hotel is far from Hurghada. And there is also no free Wi-Fi in the rooms, only at the reception. It's very strange for such a hotel...I've been there 2 times and I'd love to come back! The beach is really fascinating!

I highly recommend the CARIBBEAN WORLD SOMA BAY 5* Hotel - Hurghada. We had a vacation with children in June 2024. A beautiful large, very well maintained green area with lots of pools, cafes and bars. Wonderful animation, both for children and adults. Every day, the animators organized discos and foam parties on the seashore during the day. In the evening, there were various quizzes and performances by visiting dance groups in a separate theater. We lived on the 1st floor with access to the garden-it's great. 200m. to the sea. The beach sand is clean and soft. The sea is clear and very clean, not deep. For children, that's what you need! Own diving center. Excellent organization of excursions. The buffet is very varied and delicious. Internet is only available in the lobby. There is a children's pool, where three slides work twice a day for two hours. The staff is very polite and friendly. The rooms are cleaned daily, at the highest level. Who chooses a vacation with the result of the best impressions - this Hotel is right for you! I recommend.

The hotel is not bad! The entrance to the sea is just perfect for children and the elderly! We chose this hotel only because of the entrance to the sea , there are a couple of reefs right by the shore, a lot of fish , turtles swam in, the food was not very good , but that was not the main thing for us ! I want to warn the hotel visitors , be very careful with the man in the photo . Speaks good Russian , calls himself "Abdullah the good" , repeats it like a mantra , misleading and some kind of trance !!! He really owns some kind of hypnosis , he makes money , he owns a store on the territory of the hotel , once they got to his store , they gave 50 bucks for nothing !!! Only in the room they came to their senses that there was no money , but it was already too late, if you gave him a large bill, do not wait for the change, he stuffed 2 torn children's shirts into the change , which would never have been bought in their right mind and memory ! 💵 Does not refund money! A very strange guy , walking around the store and asking the same thing , saying the same phrase , in our case , he asked when we were leaving , constantly without stopping , even after it was already answered that the next day , he kept asking over and over again about tomorrow are you leaving ? I'm writing my impressions. We had a vacation with our daughter from August 25 to August 31, 2024. The hotel is on 3. Yes, the territory is well maintained, a beautiful beach, an excellent entrance to the sea. That was the end of all the good things. The room is terrible, old furniture, sagging beds and pillows. There was urine coming out of the shower every day, which we just didn't do. Unsanitary conditions. The restaurant has a poor menu. The bread is hard, the bread is made of iron. Mashed potatoes are sour, stewed vegetables are tough, forage cucumbers, sour oranges, hard melons. The hotel guide is a separate story. I was 30 minutes late for the meeting, didn't even look at the documents and immediately started offering excursions. As soon as I said that I was not considering buying excursions, interest in us disappeared altogether. I did not tell you what the concept of the hotel is, what is paid and what is not. I do not recommend staying at this hotel

I came from this hotel today. I was there for the first time in 22. I got to know the old-timers of the rest at this hotel. According to them .... it gets worse every year, we won't come here anymore.... I didn't listen, I came. Yes, they gave me a Vip bracelet, black. One of the advantages....sea and sand... Now the cons... The food in the restaurant is monotonous, especially for breakfast, there are no local fruits.... Plastic glasses in bars are old and there are few of them, drinks are made only of paper or polyethylene. The cleaner checked daily whether it was necessary to clean the room... If not, he was openly happy. Bugs are crawling out of the sewer and there are a lot of them. There is only 1.5 liters of water per person per day in the refrigerator. And it is clear that everything is old... And the cherry on the cake.... Did not have time to get on the bus... The guide began to tell you that the hotel is not good, why did you choose it....shallow sea, no Internet, tourists are bred for missing things and a sad story about Europeans who, just before departure, pay for the breakdown of televisions at the price of an airplane wing...and the most interesting thing is that the tour guide confirmed the same thing at the departure...and what is the most fun... I ran into it... I've already boarded the bus, a minute before departure.... The guide was approaching... There is no small pillow in your room, come to the reception,.. I came up, the information was confirmed... $ 10...how is it? The benefit is not far away... I reached the room... A crowd of staff... The whole room is upside down... A Russian - speaking employee
.. You forgot your pillow on the beach, by the pool... I pretended to be looking for it... In the back... phrase...Cold... In short, I stupidly gave it away.... Divorced... And after all, the guides warned.... I concluded for myself that I would find another hotel for myself next year.... Because I'm a Vip... I still don't understand.... VERY NICE HOTEL
We really liked the hotel. It is located 50 km from Hurghada. But, what's good, upon arrival, we were immediately put in a minibus and without checking into other hotels, we were immediately taken to ours. The journey took about 30 minutes.
The territory of the hotel is huge. There are 3 large pools on site, ranging in depth from 30 cm to 150 cm. 1 pool is open until 22:00. In the afternoon, an animation program takes place in one of the pools. The territory of the hotel is very well maintained and green. Gardeners are constantly improving the territory (cutting something, removing leaves, watering the grass). Upon arrival at the hotel, we were changed to a room with a view of the pool, free of charge (initially we had a room with a view of the garden). which made us very happy.
The room is huge - 50 m2 + balcony. Very clean. the air conditioner was working, the room was cleaned daily.
The beach is perfect. Clean yellow sand, nice new sunbeds.
Waiters walk along the beach and are ready to bring drinks and food to the beach, to the sunbed (the sun beds are numbered) for a nominal fee.
The only disadvantage is that the sun beds have to be occupied from early in the morning (we came at 7 a.m. and half of the sun beds were already occupied).
The food was very good. 2 large restaurants (1 right by the beach). What I liked was that the tablecloths, cloth napkins, and tables are always well maintained. Empty plates were always cleaned promptly.
The water in the sea is very warm. In my opinion, about 30 degrees.
The entry into the sea is smooth, corals are not needed, because the bottom is completely sandy.
Up to a depth of 20 meters. There are minor tides. If you want to look at the fish, then there is a pier to the right of the beach, 50 meters away, there are a lot of fish there. The water is crystal clear.
If you do not want to communicate with annoying sellers of all kinds of excursions, massages, etc. (who walk along the beach), you can ask for a red ribbon when receiving towels on the beach and tie it around a column near the sunbed- they will not fit (checked).
With regard to entertainment programs:
Animators work for 5+. All kinds of entertainment events on the beach are constantly held from 10 a.m. (foam discos on the beach were organized 2 times a week). Various kinds of activities in the water. During the day, as a rule, entertainment took place in the pool (near the sea). In the evenings at 21:15 to 22:30 they have a showtime in the amphitheater (on site). Sometimes on the main square near the main restaurant. During the event, 3 types of cakes are distributed free of charge on the main site.
Regarding food: The food is very good. A variety of dishes, both local and European cuisine. Lots of fresh fruits. I advise you to have dinner in the main restaurant, and not in the restaurant by the beach, because delicious grilled dishes are prepared at the main restaurant. Alcohol, oddly enough for Egypt, is very good. They have their own specialty beer (Safaga. Apparently by the name of the region). Delicious cocktails. There is a hookah, for the hotel price ($16). There are paid cocktails - for $ 3 (in my opinion, free ones are tastier). In the lobby bar (it is inside the hotel at the reception), you can smoke (oddly enough, this is a closed room). There is also a non-smoking area. There are a lot of shops. It is always necessary to bargain, Prices are reduced.
With regard to ala carte restaurants:
Upon arrival for 7 days or more, 3 ala carte restaurants (French, Italian, Arabic (BBQ) are free of charge. We went 2 times to French and 1 time to Italian. Serving dishes like in decent restaurants in Moscow. Everything is very tasty. The interior of the restaurants is at the highest level. The staff is very friendly. I really liked it. The girl has an appointment at the restaurants next to the reception. There are paid restaurants with seafood (we did not go there).
The staff does not speak Russian from the word at all))))But they understand. There were only 5% Russians in the hotel, the rest were Poles (40%), Germans (30%) and the rest of the Europeans. There was no discrimination from other vacationers and staff. The staff is very friendly. The excellent work of the management is affected (everyone is constantly busy with work, everything is very clean, very tidy, everyone is smiling).
Overall, the holiday experience is excellent. The hotel exceeded all expectations.
I must say right away - do not look at the reviews of Russian speakers! LIES!!! Apparently the reviews are custom-made.
Everything is at the highest level.
And it is very good that the hotel is located far from the city. No gas pollution, everything is very clean.
We decided that on subsequent visits to Egypt, we will only take this hotel. I don't see the point in others, because you can't find the best service, such a clean, well-groomed territory, such huge rooms, delicious food, delicious drinks and such a beach for such a price.
The hotel is definitely a solid 5!
Once again, I want to say that it is clear that the hotel management is doing everything to ensure that tourists have a good rest in this hotel and feel comfortable in everything, for which they are very grateful!!!

Changes with the new owner: the hotel was not recognized. 1. The night disco club is closed for good until 1 am, there will be a restaurant, there is nowhere for people to dance after 22 hours, unless in the dining room between the tables, where no one goes. Everything is for the 60+ audience: they play cards and drink whiskey, and we can do this at home, we came to have fun and chat, but alas. Animators are bred for night trips to nightclubs in Hurghada for money, do not be fooled: it is expensive and unproductive. And not everyone is able to stand it up to 3 nights, and we paid for the hotel, sorry. 2. Coffee machines were completely removed from all restaurants, I have never drunk such a mess in a vat called coffee. In general, there is no coffee in all canteens. Poison yourself, be careful! Yes, and the juices are pure jupi powder. 3. Of course, the cherry on the cake is an "amazing" Singer who never sings and whom no one can find, not even the management. He comes to dinner, watches the show and goes home at 22 o'clock, although he is obliged to sing until 23-we found out at the reception when we were looking for him with an international crowd of tourists from different countries, so that at least until 11 pm we could provide ourselves with entertainment. In general, they ran after him for their own money, but he was afraid of drunk tourists and different every day. Dear management, you can get him into the church choir then, there are probably no drunks there, but please take me to his job: I also want to have dinner, watch a show and go home for his salary. You can find another job so you don't have to be afraid of drunks, but not as a late-night disco singer. The canteen is noisy, only a la carte restaurants helped out. And the last thing: the animators did well, they worked by the hour from and to and no one allowed themselves to rest, they pulled out the rest. Thank them for that! I do not know what will happen next with this hotel with such an attitude towards tourists. I do not recommend it.

I liked the hotel. The territory is beautiful and well maintained. The sea is a thrill! Sand, turquoise water! The food is delicious, but monotonous, without frills. Animation for both children and adults. There are many foreigners, few Russians. The attitude is good. For a relaxing holiday with children.
For me, the only disadvantage was to take a long bus ride if the transfer is shared, but this problem is easily solved by an individual transfer or taxi.

2. A dude walks along the beach, sells so-called "juices", he is also the holder of a hookah bar on the beach, an arrogant type.
Somehow I blocked his passage on the beach, you see, I put the sunbed in the wrong place, went to complain to someone, the hotel staff came and twisted at his temple, came up and said that everything was good, he was just a local fool)
So if you are asked to move the sunbed from your sunny spot, drive in the neck

We choose green hotels, as a rule, such hotels are not a new concept and it does not bother at all, at least for us. We liked the Carribean World Hotel. A large territory, a children's area with a water park on the seashore, you can see the kids, you don't need to run far. Restaurants and bars, there are many of them, I really like that you can have breakfast and lunch right on the beach without going to the main restaurant. The food is normal, vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, soups, etc., you will definitely not stay hungry. Of course there are no real juices, unless in a cocktail or for a dollar)) the rest is yuppie. Tea, coffee from the car. The local beer is very tasty, light, there were no stomach problems from food or drinks. The staff is wonderful! There are many nationalities in the hotel, mainly Germans, French, Serbs, Slovakia, Europeans like hotels where they are tasty and well fed, a good beach and animation. This is a separate topic, it's super! The guys try to entertain the guests both day and evening! Of the cons, driving from the airport to the hotel is 50 km, the Internet is paid for expensive) well, if this can be considered cons. In general, this hotel is definitely recommended for visiting!

The hotel is suitable for a quiet family holiday. The first line of the sea. We chose this hotel because of the gorgeous sandy beach. The hotel also has a mini water park with slides. 2 large pools and 3 for children.
We had a rest at the end of May for 2 adults and a child of 5 years old. We provided a large family room with as many as 4 beds. There is a lot of space. The furniture is certainly not tired a lot, but overall the impression is good. The plumbing is all working. The room has air conditioning, kettle, refrigerator, safe, TV with 2 Russian channels, hairdryer. Tea, coffee, 2 bottles of water, hygiene products are free of charge and added every day. The room is cleaned every day. Towels are changed. All-inclusive meals. There is a large selection, there is even a children's room with a selection of food for the kids. There are a lot of sweets. Free drinks, a snack near one of the pools.
A gorgeous beach with a sandy entrance to the sea. There are a lot of sun beds, and even at lunch you can find free ones. The student is given out near the beach and pool according to the issued cards. In general, the hotel is worth the money, but I think it is possible to improve the same animation and replace the furniture.

The hotel almost corresponds to 5 *, I put a solid 4.5*. Minus half a point for outdated furniture and interior items of the room. Otherwise, everything is very, very good. A lot of salads, vegetables, sauces, seasonings, oils, etc. A variety of types of side dishes daily potatoes stewed, baked, fries.. A separate point with pasta cooking in the main restaurant. There are a lot of truly delicious desserts - they are prepared with you or take ready-made. The same situation with pizza - every day. The breakfasts are standard. Porridge, yogurt, eggs are fried to order, and the rest, as always, according to the classics of the Egyptian breakfast. There is no good coffee. Pour from the tank through the tap.
I saw 3 coffee machines in the hotel (by the pool, at the beach bar and next to the lobby), but they are so-so..
For $ you can order Turkish coffee.
The territory of the hotel is large, very green and well maintained.
The beach is sandy, convenient access, but there is no reef in the hotel, so there is nothing to see. You can snorkel behind buoys who are not afraid of wildlife and the evil Egyptian beach security))) who starts blowing the whistle to drive away the violators. About the evil one, of course, a joke. Everything is decent.
There are fish, small sharks and large turtles behind the buoys. It's a pity not all guests can see it.
The animation is good. Languages German, Polish, Spanish, French. Russian is not enough.

We had a vacation with my wife in March 2024. We went somewhere to the sea, sun and warmth for a week, chose between different countries based on a budget of 150t for two for a week.
Unfortunately, in other countries, for such money, now you can only find 3*. Here we also found an excellent 5*, which almost fully justifies its status and significantly exceeds expectations from a vacation in Egypt in principle.
The last time I was in Egypt in 2009, I was faced with obsession, poor service and bad attitude towards Russian men, especially in the city, outside the hotel. Therefore, I decided not to set foot in Egypt anymore and chose, as a rule, Asia. I asked my beloved to choose a hotel so that I could not set foot outside its territory and at the same time everything would be fine. And what happened turned out to be higher than expected in the end.
Of the advantages of the hotel:
1. A good location in Soma Bay, which in winter leads to a decrease in windiness. Large, wide and dense umbrellas on the beach made of some local grass look great and perfectly extinguish the wind. There was almost no wind on the last line of deck chairs. The beach is clean, new light Italian stylish deck chairs on the left side.
2. A large green well-groomed territory, many trees, flowers, shrubs, many gardeners are busy daily with its landscaping and it is visible - as if you have entered paradise. And only the dry hot air reminds you that you are actually in the desert.
3. Excellent variety of food, the main restaurant gives an excellent choice. We went to the Italian restaurant a la carte, but it didn't go in. There are often fresh delicious strawberries. The dessert set is large, there are a lot of biscuits and complex pastry. Everything is insanely delicious.
4. The rooms in the hotel are 50m2, it is higher than a standard room, there is a lot of space in the room - looking at modern hotels, you get used to it - some old chic. The room has expensive wood trim, massive beautiful furniture and other interior elements that create a rich impression of the room. The windows of the room overlook the oasis, which is a hotel. For the right side of the houses, this is relevant - the outside looks at the desert. We could see the sea from the room, although the room was garden view.
5. The service is unobtrusive, but not particularly up to par. In general, everything is normal. On the beach, the boss needs to be given a dollar a day so that he will pay attention to you and put protection from the wind. He does not do this with a machine gun and runs away from all tourists except the Germans. He's being nice to them. Apparently, Russians, French and other nationalities are not very generous with tips. The bartender walks along the beach and offers to bring drinks, everything is free - this is a plus. And this one does not avoid people, it is worn by everyone.
6. The coastline is open, you can walk right and left quite far. But if you go to the right, towards the deserted shore with abandoned buildings, then in winter it is better to dress warmly, the weather literally blows away.
Of the cons:
1. There is no free sauna with a swimming pool, which is typical for 5*. There is only a spa with massage, which is persistently invited along the shore.
2. It's a long way from the airport - two hours each way.
3. There is no promenade for walking - literally 200 meters from the hotel itself.
In general, there are not so many disadvantages for this price. So I recommend going to Egypt in winter and choosing this hotel.
In general, in Egypt, I would like to note that they have become much less intrusive to tourists from Russia about tips and some purchases. Apparently, we just stopped giving money just like that, waiting for the service. And the service there is a little tight, you can feel normal only with the well-trained staff of a 5-star hotel.
The second point about Egypt is that everyone is so humiliated at the airport, they make unnecessary checks, they force them to sign up for some magazines. Boarding is announced when it is not yet open - the last call voice message was sent five times, and they started with it. People are going to last call, and the boarding is not open yet - in general, it's still trash, be prepared for this at the airport. Yes, even upon arrival in Hurghada, they demand to pay $ 25 per person for a visa. So there are also inscriptions on the road "a visa costs only $ 25!!!" But when you go to the meeting area, a smiling guy in blue trousers and a white shirt asks you which agency you flew with - Sunmar, Coral, Odeon? We vacationed here with my husband at the end of January 2024. There is a beautiful garden on the territory of the hotel, which is worked on by many people with great care.
The furniture in the rooms is old, but in working condition, well maintained and clean.

I rested alone from 25.02. to 04.03.2023. It was the third time. Not boring, not scary! The rest is more suitable for a quiet family holiday with children. The first line, clean, well-groomed beach, excellent large, green area. There is a place for evening walks, a lot of flowers. On-site bars and cafes are all inclusive, so there are no queues, an ambulance is on duty on the beach during the day (let no one need it) There are enough sun beds for everyone and they still remain. Rooms are cleaned, towels are changed, water is brought every day. The furniture is not new, but everything is decent, clean, everything works, there is a safe in the room. Food - compared to the last vacation, it has changed sooo much for the better. Fresh vegetables, fruits, beef, chicken, fish, seafood, and it is difficult to write about baking cakes and pies. The restaurant is large, there are enough empty seats, dirty dishes are cleaned quickly. During the day, animation on the beach, in all languages, in the evening - performances by invited artists and local animators.In general, if you want to relax, come here.

A family of 2 adults and a child were vacationing.
A nice big hotel, located on the first line of the sea, the beach is a gorgeous sand with a smooth entrance into the water.
The territory of the hotel is green and very nicely decorated for a mini town.
The rooms are clean, large with nice beds, (we had on the 3rd floor with a huge balcony)
Daily cleaning is good, tea, coffee, water in the room daily.
I've read a lot of reviews about dissatisfaction with food.
Well, I don't know, in my opinion the food is quite decent, the quality is good, the choice is large and you can always choose something diverse.
The staff at the hotel is friendly but not intrusive.
The audience is mainly Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians, and not many citizens of the former Soviet republics))
There is nowhere to leave the hotel, the desert is all around)
