Great stuff with ethnic atmosphere, live music every evening, generally food is ok, they serve national cuisine, taste is subjective measure, for me it was just regular, nothing special.
Nothing special. Dishes are a bit over salted and quite overpriced. One plate of the Soup price is around 80000 sum. Chicken kebab - 70000, which is too much for 1 dish from my perspective.
Great food.
It is expensive.
Perfect place for business lunch or dinner.
Interior is a mixture of local and soviet designs.
Service needs improvement, such an attitude of doing a huge favor, despite the fact of hefty service charge in the bill.
## The caravan is a gourmet paradise! 🤤
I recently visited the Karavan restaurant, and it was a real gastronomic journey! Every detail, from the exquisite interior to the impeccable service, spoke of the highest level of this institution.
But the most important thing is, of course, the food. I tried several dishes, and each of them was a masterpiece! From the juicy kebab that melted in your mouth to the most delicate pilaf cooked according to a traditional Uzbek recipe, everything was incredibly delicious! I am sure that this is the most delicious food that I have ever tasted in Tashkent!
I would like to say a special thank you to the chefs for their talent and skill. The atmosphere in the restaurant is conducive to pleasant communication and creates a feeling of a real holiday. 🎉
Karavan is not just a restaurant, it is a real gastronomic pearl of Tashkent. I recommend it to all lovers of delicious food and vivid impressions! ❤
I really liked the interior. The cuisine is delicious, the kabob cauldron is delicious, the manti are tender, and the shish kebab is good! Our waiter was like one of the best restaurants in London))) I was so pleased with the interior, a very cool toilet).a balm for the artist's soul- a good painting decorated the walls, really pleased! Only one disadvantage is that the music is very loud , it 's impossible to communicate , the choice of music is also so - so , and yes , in such a place , I wouldn 't mind exposing my paintings )
A very atmospheric place in Tashkent. A place where not only delicious food is cooked, but also very colorful. Very tasty dolma. Manti with the thinnest dough and very tasty tender meat. Friendly and helpful staff. We are attentive to all the wishes of the guests.
A good authentic atmosphere, lovers of antique antiques and interiors will come in, and lovers of newer and more modern premises may not understand, in the style of old Georgian establishments. Pleasant staff, the dishes were also pleased, the facade is not inviting from the outside, it is not clear what awaits the visitor inside. It's very atmospheric in the evening)
I rate the place at a solid four. The place is very atmospheric, the staff is friendly, the waitress Nadira is just great. The kitchen is delicious. Among the disadvantages, it is an overpriced price, as it seems to me, and sour beer. In another institution, I tried the same beer (unfiltered sarbast) and it was really delicious, but we were offered some kind of sour. Overall, a solid four.
A very pleasant restaurant. A lot of different phenomena and the skill of the chefs leaves no doubt where to spend the evening and have a delicious dinner in Tashkent... Excellent service. I thank the owner and the staff for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant is very colorful, everything is very beautiful, delicious is unreal! The very hospitable staff and the owner of the restaurant found out our opinion and complimented us with tea and dessert. Thank you so much, everything is very tasty!
It's a wonderful place, very atmospheric, everything is very tasty, the food is fast, the service is top notch. Special thanks to Vladimir Vladimirovich (Uncle Volodya), who gave the restaurant more than 20 years of his work.
It's a great place! Just a delight! Delicious cuisine, colorful interior and excellent service. A must-visit place in Tashkent. Yes, and the prices are adequate. You won't regret it.
The most "delicious" institution that I managed to visit in Tashkent. The service, furnishings and interior are also higher than in other cafes visited. Accordingly, the prices are also much higher. We also managed to get to live music. I recommend this place.
We were well fed, and there was a large selection of food. Close to the airport, 10 minutes by taxi. They took manti and samsi very tasty. Greek salad, wine. The waiter, Vladimir, helped with the selection. A real and authentic Uzbekistan. Thanks
An excellent restaurant, a very successful combination of modernity and national life. The menu is varied, for every taste and budget. The interior is pleasantly unobtrusive, there are many tables for different numbers of seats. Two floors, an open veranda. The dishes are prepared quickly and served by the waiters at lightning speed - hot dishes are served hot! cold - cold! Live music in the evenings and it is very comfortable for everyone, regardless of nationality and gender. Recommend 👍
Uzbek cuisine and authentic interior! I liked it, pilaf, lagman, shurpa. Everything is polite and, most importantly, fast! I recommend this place to lovers of Oriental cuisine and atmosphere!
Amazing atmosphere, delicious national food, pleasant wine, we spent an unforgettable evening here! Thank you very much to the waiter Vladimir for his attentiveness and care 😌🥰
Excellent and delicious cuisine and service. I was pleased by the Tashkent Festive Pilaf in olive oil with lamb.
Timur Damirovich has been holding the "Caravan" brand for many years, I recommend everyone to visit 👍🏼
If you are in Tashkent for only one day and you need to choose only one restaurant, then you are definitely in a Caravan. Very tasty authentic food and, very importantly, small portions, which makes it possible to choose several dishes and enjoy the local cuisine
It's a great place, I finally ate delicious pilaf, great branded lemonade! Waiters, the service is excellent!!! Compliments to pilaf and desserts - special thanks!!!
A cozy conceptual place. Every decoration on the wall, furniture, decor is a whole art! We tried cakes and watermelon fresh - a great drink in the season
A very pleasant courtyard. Meat samsa is super, because it is big and with a good filling without excess fat. It's worth working on the taste of the tinctures. A little unstable service: sometimes you come and you melt away from the hospitality. And next time, the service may turn out to be spartan and disorganized. The place is, of course, a tourist destination, but this does not spoil it.
Nice kitchen, nice interior. But I would draw the attention of the administration that the dishes on which the dishes are served do not really fit into the concept of the restaurant. I would like to see dishes on the table that match the flavor of the place. Waiters pour wine into glasses almost to the full)
In principle, this is in many places in Uzbekistan, I think with the flow of Russian, pampered tourists, the service will increase over time.
An insanely atmospheric place. Such a family restaurant. They didn't go inside, they were sitting in the courtyard. Very tasty, its own tinctures. A nice compliment of pickles. They were cooking some kind of dish with us - I didn't remember the name. Friendly and helpful staff. The portions are very large, please note when ordering. The price tag, if you navigate around Moscow, is average.
The only thing that pleased me here was the atmosphere: design and live music. Otherwise, this place is highly overrated both in terms of the taste of the food and in terms of prices. Apparently, all tourists visit this place and the result is appropriate
If there is a goal to try the local cuisine with the appropriate flavor, then this is exactly the place! The menu is super, the service is great! Everything is wonderful!
The restaurant, with a very rich history, was visited by famous people. An atmospheric place! I liked it! But not the food, of all that was ordered to the table, it was tasteless!!! The waiter did not even ask about the dishes that we did not eat, which could not suit us.
It's a great place. The musicians who perform modern and well-known melodies on national instruments with an oriental motif were especially impressed. Super!
A cozy restaurant in a historical style. There are places in the courtyard with a waterfall on a wheel and there are in the hall. There are antique utensils and dishes all around. The food is delicious, the service is fast, respectful. We celebrated the birthday in a narrow circle. From the restaurant, a compliment dessert for tea.
A very authentic place. If this is your first time in Uzbekistan, I highly recommend: national cuisine, interesting interior, excellent staff and service
Tourist. From the point of view that the portion size is not in the traditions of Uzbekistan, the cuisine is not outstanding, but the price is the opposite. But! Excellent, cozy courtyard, excellent staff, incredibly extensive menu. So if you have a short visit to the city, you want to walk through Uzbek cuisine and there is no shortage of money, then this will be an excellent choice.
The restaurant is delicious, spacious and beautiful, it doesn't take very long to prepare food, I have almost everything on the menu that adults and children need
If you want to taste authentic Uzbekistan, then this is the place for you. Vladimir feels the mood of the guests and suggests a choice. Amazingly delicious mantas
After a long family vacation in Tashkent, we spent a couple of days exploring various places through the app to choose an interesting place for dinner. The Caravan restaurant attracted our attention with its advertising, as well as a statement about its belonging to the TOP 10 best restaurants in the CIS. After reviewing the positive reviews on the page, we decided to visit it.
At the entrance, we were offered a place at the entrance, but we preferred to stay on the terrace of the second floor. We carefully studied the menu, made an order and enjoyed the interior of the establishment, which was thoughtful, cozy and beautiful, with elements of national style such as threaded doors and columns.
We also noticed a wall of distinguished guests from various celebrities in the restaurant.
Of the dishes and drinks we ordered, I liked the local Sarbast beer the most. However, the mantas we ordered turned out to be small and not particularly impressive in taste. The lamb meat in the Choponcha dish was over-dried, and the potatoes were bland, and the portion was small. Shakarob salad turned out to be too similar to Achichuk, but without the sharpness.
After discussing our impressions of the dishes, we came to the conclusion that the kitchen did not meet our expectations. After paying the bill, we decided to go to the nearest store for Sarbastom and return home to enjoy somsa from Minor Somsa. In general, the interior of the place was excellent, the service was average, but you should not expect anything special from the kitchen.
Atmospheric restaurant 👍 live music, delicious food, polite staff 👏
I recommend choban salad, Caucasian shish kebab, tukhum barak, ayran from the chef 🤤
Very tasty! Pleasant and friendly staff!! The establishments have been open for many years, I remember we came many years ago, but when I come to Tashkent, I always want to visit the Caravan again and again))) they have been doing well for so many years , they have kept the brand 😉 special thanks for the live music 😇
A great restaurant. The food is delicious, the pilaf is just bombastic. They give a discount for the next visit. Once they gave a compliment from the restaurant, very nice
An authentic restaurant on a quiet street where you can eat national cuisine.
On the ground floor everything is decorated in an antique style, the second floor is more modern.
They cook fast and tasty enough, the staff is attentive.
The only caveat is that the bill immediately includes 20% for the service
An entourage place, a watermill, antiques and a vine overhead. The weather allowed-we sat down outside. The staff is polite and friendly. The food is delicious, the serving is beautiful. The prices are reasonable.
