It is a very good place, so far the best we have been in Armenia. They cook very tasty, bring food quickly, everything is very polite. They treated me to compote, asked me to wrap some of it with me, and gave me more cutlery and napkins. The prices are quite democratic. We will definitely come back.

Georgian cafe. The hostesses are Armenians, and the waiters are Georgians who pretend that they do not understand Russian. Khinkali was cooked for almost an hour, to taste so-so. But very tasty khachapuri in Adjarian was cooked quickly. I was also pleased with the final bill - compared to the surrounding restaurants, it turned out to be inexpensive.

Today we had dinner in Karas, on Tumanyan. We entered by chance, there were no places in the restaurant where we went purposefully. I liked everything. We took shish kebab, khinkali, Greek salad. Tasty, neat, friendly staff. Thanks to the waiter Norik, a positive and pleasant guy.

I don't know why the reviews are bad. The cafe is neat, the tables are clean (yes, with chips, but they are clean, if you need a restaurant, go to Parvana Yerevan, and this is a bistro). The waiter came right up. The food was served quickly enough and all the dishes were hot. The portions are simply huge. There is a lot of meat in the soup, in my version borscht is served complete with bread and sour cream. It's a great place to have a snack. My husband liked the boiled coffee, and he is a huge coffee specialist. I didn't have time to take a picture of everything, they ate it quickly.
Hashlama 3000dram. The meat is soft. I recommend Karas 👍

The meat is tasteless with a bunch of some spices, it's unclear why ((I wanted to eat a delicious barbecue so much, but it didn't work out ( stolichny salad with a bunch of mayonnaise.. pepperoni pizza with sausage is also of terrible quality. A question! Why feed people such food? Everything in this place is about 3/5. Tables with chips. The waiter was polite, but forgot to bring bread (and included it in the receipt). 2 of the 3 dishes were served quickly, and khinkali had to wait 40 minutes. Moreover, they were served to us at the same time as the next table, where people came much later. It feels like they were waiting until there were more orders for khinkali to cook at once. They did not bother themselves with the design of the dish either. They just slapped 5 kincalines from boiling water on a plate and served. All dishes taste like three: It's like a canteen.

It's not the first time we've been there with a friend and usually we were served by the same waiter, but this time something new happened. The waitress girl didn't even greet us, but threw us a menu from the next table where she took the order. Next, our beer was brought with a chipped glass, and very strongly with a fragment. When I was asked if I could get a WiFi password, they just didn't hear me, turned around and left, and my friend went to find out the password herself. Then they threw plates on our table, they did!!! My friend and I came in a good mood to have a delicious snack and drink, but after such service, the desire to continue the evening disappeared in principle. We are restaurant employees ourselves and we understand perfectly well that there are different situations in a person's life, but it was over the top. When we asked for the bill, they threw it at us again that the "barrel" counter was shaking, we put the money there, they took out the change and just the waitress stood next to us for a long time and looked at whether we would report something there, and sorry for what? For such a boorish attitude towards the guests? We are just shocked, because before that we went here 10 times or even more in the last 1.5-2 months, and now apparently we will not come, so as not to meet this unfriendly person again.

Khachapuri boat - maybe we were unlucky. But we treated the whole boat to stray dogs.
Eggplants are sour.
Coffee, by the way, in the residential area of the cafe chain, they brought us 2in1 from a bag. Please specify!

We ordered wine by the glass - the waiter soon returned and informed us that there was no wine by the glass, it was over, they could only offer it in bottles. OK, we ordered dry white wine - they brought a VERY WARM bottle and poured warm liquid into the glasses. To tell the truth, mixed feelings, to put it mildly, the interior condition is not very good for a cafe (tables with chips, torn sofas), while food prices are higher than in canteens. So it didn't work out to eat fully, and there was little pleasure from spending time. On the plus side, there were a lot of seats available.

We arrived in Yerevan at midnight, and after checking into the hotel we went out for a snack. We went to Karas. Despite the late hour, there were visitors here, and the kitchen was working. We ordered a beef cradle, a hodgepodge, and a grub. Everything is very tasty, the soups are rich, the cradle is juicy and it turned out to be inexpensive. The service is fast, the staff speaks Russian.

The worst shawarma I've ever eaten... The order was waiting for 2 hours, the courier arrived without a terminal, although this point was clarified with the operator.
