We had a family vacation (2 adults, a teenager and two children) at this hotel in early November 2024. We were accommodated in two rooms sky studio and beach studio.
The children are delighted, we also really liked it. The island is large, very green, on the northwest side, where our rooms were located, there is a lagoon with a beautiful wide beach. The beach is cleaned early every morning.
The island is treated daily for insects, so that mosquitoes and other unpleasant bugs did not cause us any inconvenience. We didn't need any repellents or fumigators, which we brought with us.
But adapters for sockets were useful, since there are English sockets in the rooms.
The rooms are comfortable, with a large bed and a pull-out sofa, which was made with bed linen for the child. Everything you need is there (bathrobes, shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, hand soap, hair dryer, capsule coffee machine, kettle, set of dishes, tea bags).
Two restaurants with a buffet system (zest and flavore), where we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also a la carte restaurants, we have not visited them.
Flavore is located in the center of the island at the reception, Zest is located in the western part of the island near the water villas. We liked Zest more, although we went further from our rooms than in Flavore.
There are no complaints about nutrition, there is a great variety, meat (pork, beef, lamb, chicken) every day in different variations, fish, seafood, side dishes, vegetables, fruits, desserts. There is a children's table (where adults stand in line with their plates) with nuggets, fish in batter, French fries and pasta. For dinner, the themed cuisine of the countries of the world. There was always oatmeal for breakfast, as well as buckwheat porridge with milk and corn. The youngest child loves porridge in the morning, so we were pleased with this moment.
The hotel has a children's club (we saw children with a babysitter there) and a small water park. Our children no longer need such services, so I can't make a review about it.
There is a game room with a billiard table, table football and some other board game. There is another billiard table and a ping pong table on the beach near the bar.
During the day, some activities are held near the pool, in the evening at sunset on the beach near the water villas yoga, a couple of times in the evening there was an open-air movie session (once a cartoon, once a movie, all in English, of course).
In the evening there is live music in the bar.
Several times a day they take you out by boat for snorkeling (3 minutes to the platform). My husband and his eldest son swam a couple of times, they said they could look at it for a change, but the reef is scarce for wildlife, although they were lucky to see a moray eel in the corals and a turtle. My son liked it because it was the first time for him.
The island is long, about 45 minutes on foot from one end to the other. Despite such a calm, relaxed vacation, every day I walked around the island for 12-13 thousand steps.
The beach is beautiful, very large, wide, and beautiful. The ocean is very beautiful, in the first 5 days of our vacation the water was very calm and clean. Then there was a day with incoming rains, after that the wind blew from the north and raised waves and impotent algae appeared, which became a lot in the evening. Of course, they spoiled the impression, since many years ago my husband and I were in the Maldives on another island and there were no algae for 10 days. But from a conversation with the staff, we found out that algae is an unpredictable phenomenon, as luck would have it.
There were almost no people on the beach, although there were quite a lot of people in the hotel (this is visible only in the restaurant). There are many families with children of different ages.
The staff is friendly, the rooms are cleaned daily, efficiently, towels are changed every day. There are plenty of beach towels. The bartenders in the breeze bar are friendly, smiling, talkative. There is a Russian-speaking girl Malika at the reception who will answer all your questions. At the counter, where they signed up for water activities, they also met a Russian-speaking girl Katya (Kate is written on the badge), who also told and explained everything in great detail.
In general, the impressions of the holiday for adults and children were wonderful. You can return to this hotel.

Great hotel. There are several types of villas. Excellent staff. We rested according to the system,everything is included, The amazing color of the sea, the sandy beach. However, there are coral fragments on the bottom in places, so rubber slippers will not be superfluous. I recommend diving - it's something!

Hello everyone. We stayed in Kandima for a wonderful 6 nights from March 04 to March 10 this year.
We have been to the Maldives 3 times on local islands, this time we decided to relax at the resort and did not regret it. Aeroflot arrived, a hotel representative with a sign greeted them immediately at the exit, then they were escorted to the counter and waited a little, escorted to the terminal for Manta Air domestic flights, checked in just as quickly and then there were no problems with the transfer, everything was organized for 10+.
Upon arrival, they are met and escorted to the reception. We were greeted by a beautiful girl, Malika, who helped us with all our questions throughout the rest.
We lived on the first floor of the beach studio on the block, the room is nice, new, access to the beach, everything is gorgeous. There were 4 families with children, no one bothered anyone, this is a class.
Food, bars, top-level service.
We signed up in advance for all the restaurants in Alaska, it's a delight, dishes and service for 10+.
Breakfast/lunch is Swedish, it's good that there are two restaurants. The food is very decent, varied for all tastes, and there are a lot of fruits.
I also liked the bars/pools. The service is at the 5+ level.
We upgraded to a water villa for 2 nights, it's a delight, I recommend it.
The island is big, very green, the entrance to the ocean is everywhere without corals, beauty. White sand and gorgeous ocean.
There are a lot of people, but no one bothers anyone, just as if there is no one.
Cleanliness on the beach, in restaurants, bars, rooms for 10+. All employees try to please every guest. We traveled by mini bus, because the distance from the pitchfork on the water to the reception is large, everything is also organized.
