The fortress is in pretty good condition. Entrance is paid, there are several expositions inside, you can walk along the walls. In general, those who were able to get there (the roads there are just terrible, and there are not enough trains) I advise you to visit both the fortress and the Old Town.
To be honest, I was there already in 2010...
and, to be honest, I don't remember much. Paving stones on the road...the square with souvenirs ... There is almost nothing in the fortress itself.
That's why I wanted to lower the grade, but I fixed it.
Firstly, it's worth visiting (IMHO), secondly, many years have passed.
And so, I recently visited another fortress - "Benderskaya", it is many times smaller, but from there, I left with a lot of information about the events that took place around it many years ago ...
Back in Soviet times (in Soviet times!!!), I visited the castle in Trakai, so I have memories from there There's more left.
Why? I don't know, apparently those who manage these monuments have a different approach?
Well, again, everything is subjective.
The monument of the "seven religions" was kept in excellent European condition, there were many excursions, there is a historical reserve, an old castle, it was he who was used in the filming of the storming of the fortress in the film "Taras Bulba".
