We tried to rest in September 2023. I got number 18. horror. Even a small cost of living is not worth this backwater! Everything is so old and squalid that after 2 days we had to move to another place. The beds are old, the mattresses are in holes, the sheets are leaving, you need to fix them all night so as not to sleep on a bare mattress or fall into a hole between the shifted beds (apparently there are no double beds). The child was given a cot with a hole in the middle of the frame...there are no words from such hospitality. The shower room is just in a terrible state, from time to time some kind of garbage comes off, which covers up the joints and this garbage clogs the drain. The floor is such that it is not pleasant to step on a bare foot, it is scary to take a stool in the room in your hands! The shelf in the bathroom by the mirror is tilted, nothing to put. There is no place for bubbles and vials in the shower, you have to use a round stool, from which everything falls to the floor if you hook it a little. The TV doesn't work. The overall impression of the room is disgusting. I understand that on vacation you only come to the room to sleep, but it's not even pleasant to sleep, you've been scratched from old dirty mattresses.
The food in the dining room is not delicious. We ordered an omelet for breakfast - they brought a thin sole, drowned in sunflower oil.
A nightmare and a horror, not a place to rest.
Moreover, when we moved out, the hostess reacted indifferently and did not even offer another room as an alternative.
The kettle in the room burned down, the socket flared up, almost burned.
There are catastrophically few sunbeds on the beach, and they are occupied by guests. Sunbathing on the rocks.

We stayed in June for a few days (thank God that our vacation did not take place there)It is terribly dirty in the houses and the smell (( The furniture is old, there is no service. In Abkhazia, I only liked nature, everything else is terrible! Starting from the toilet at the border, there are just no words! We took an individual car tour from Sochi to Abkhazia. We watched a lot. There is no desire to return here anymore. Such a "service" and devastation everywhere. And who writes good reviews about this "hotel", have you rested in decent hotels? What are you betting 5 for here? Why mislead people? It is necessary to assess how much this place really deserves.

The Kamarit Hotel is located on the Black Sea coast.
Shops, a pharmacy, markets and the main attractions
of the city of New Athos are within walking distance.
The Kamarit hotel has an Internet site where you can get acquainted with the prices and choose a room to stay for every taste.
I liked the spacious, modern rooms in the new houses with large panoramic windows.
A dining room with a beautiful view of the sea began to work on the beach. The prices are affordable.
Canteens, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance.
There is a large selection for every taste.
Of the disadvantages, I note:
1. Room cleaning is carried out only on request.
2. There is a lot of garbage on the beach, no one cleans it.
3. In houses located close to the sea, at night, the constant noise of the sea prevents you from falling asleep.
And in the houses located next to the highway, the noise from passing cars and the banging of stones flying from under the wheels prevents you from resting.
4. Cars also often drive along the path located between the houses of vacationers and the beach.
5. Very unstable Wi-Fi connection.

Vacation in Abkhazia is not expensive itself, but also in combination with this hotel with the first coastline is a thrill. The center is not far away, everything is within walking distance and cafes and shops. In the morning, you wake up to the sound of a wave. In general, I am satisfied with the hotel, there are disadvantages, but they are not significant. Sukhum is just around the corner, or give up on the road and maybe, if on the way, they will take you for free.

The place where this institution is located, I'm sorry, I can't call it a hotel, it's very beautiful, the sea is clean. For the first time I came across self-service in a hotel, up to self-cleaning of the room. Cows walk freely on the beach, although the janitor throws them out if he notices. Going out to a cafe located 500-1000 meters away, you have to walk along the side of the road, and passing through the territory of this institution, you need to look at your feet all the time. The Internet works only near the administration, there is no connection in the room, only one local program clearly shows on the TV, you can forget about the rest. My husband and I have been together for 7 days, it's just a disaster. Food, cleaning products and detergents were bought in local shops.

We had a rest in Kamarita from August 12 to August 21, 2023. From the railway station to Camarita is very close, less than 10 minutes drive. The friendly receptionist Hamida met us and immediately offered us the keys to the reserved room. So at 10.45 we have already checked in. If you don't find fault with the little things, then the room with all the amenities was quite comfortable for us. The hotel is located on the first line, its own beach of small pebbles: from the room in swimming trunks directly into the sea – beauty! The sea is clean, but the water was very warm, 29 degrees, does not even cool. We swam all day, early in the morning, in the afternoon, and at night. All the rooms of the hotel were occupied, but the beach was so free that it seemed that there were no vacationers. There is a cafe on site. An extensive menu for every budget and taste. Nata Sergeevna, the senior cashier, is a friendly girl with a sense of humor, on the first day she gave an excursion through the menu, told about the team, introduced the cook and her assistant. The cook Isolda is a great professional: she cooks delicious, homemade, as for herself, the portions are huge. The wonderful and modest Samat Anatolyevna helps her in this. If they say that Abkhazia is a Country of the Soul, then the cafe staff is its living embodiment. Thanks to the girls for their hospitality! From Kamarit to the center of New Athos, where there are many shops, shops and cafes, it is almost a five-minute walk. In the evening, we had fun walking around the most beautiful park, relaxing in a cafe and dancing to live music.
During the rest, we visited all the sights of New Athos, including Stalin's dacha, went on an excursion to Lake Ritsa, Pitsunda, Gagra and Sukhum. So there are only positive impressions about the rest in Kamarita! The impression was slightly spoiled by vacationers who left towels or other rags on the sun beds, such as busy, and did not approach them for several days, so there were not enough sun beds for everyone. I suggested to the hotel owner to do as they do in Turkey or Egypt in some hotels: collect the trestles in a pile, and dump the "rags" of the smart-assed into a pile - let them figure it out later! This is the fourth time we have been vacationing in Abkhazia itself. And every time we wonder why the architecturally beautiful train stations are not being repaired in the past? They are the face of any city for tourists and guests! Roads and sidewalks are not cleaned from traces of the vital activity of numerous cows, garbage is not removed along the roadsides. It is clear that the country is not rich, but for cleaning at least for the holiday season, a lot of money is not required. And local references to the fact that tourists litter it are not consistent with the word at all. However, I am glad that public spaces are gradually being put in order in cities and towns, and this is noticeable! So next year we will definitely come to Abkhazia for a vacation and choose a place of rest Kamarit!

We were at the end of November 2020 with two children, 9 and 1.5 years old, everything is relatively good, but
1. It is cold, heated only by air conditioning, but from 21 to 11 o'clock the next day the lights are turned off, and one of the walls is a double-glazed window with a view of the sea, they slept in their clothes
2. A tiny tube TV with a torn antenna
3. Complete absence of a table in the presence of 2 chairs
4. About the lack of duvet covers, instead of them there is one single sheet for a double bed (it's good that they slept dressed)))
5. The bathroom seems to be clean, but there was no desire to bathe the children and myself from the word at all

Bungalow type, on the beach. If we take into account the price of 1800r in November 2022 and do not look for stars in the name of the hotel, then it is normal. Refrigerator, air conditioning, hot water and sea view. Yes, not everything is smooth, dogs are running, cows and horses are walking. There is no cafe on site. But you're in a house with panoramic windows, falling asleep to the sound of waves over 1800. And what did you want in Abkhazia for this amount? We fried meat in front of the entrance in the evenings.

We rested in Kamarita from August 15, 2021-25, 2021.
The terrible condition of the rooms, the beds are broken, spiders are all over the room, the refrigerator is leaking, the blankets are dirty, as if they have not been washed since the appearance of this hotel. And the bathroom is a separate topic: the shower is all dirty , a broken curtain that should cover from the water is all full of holes and everything flows past , the walls of the shower are broken, all the water flows into the room. There is a very strong smell of sewage from the bathroom and it does not fade.To open the window, you need to use a stick in the literal sense. There are some snot on the ceiling, as if they were throwing something). It's scary to plug the lamp into an outlet because the wire is bare. Someone is scratching behind the wall, someone like a mouse. You walk on the floor and everything is shaking. The only good thing is that the sea is very close. And it covers all the inconveniences. But we wouldn't go there a second time.I put 2 stars only for the sea )Wi-fi does not catch the word at all, although they promised that it would be available throughout the territory, it catches only at the administration house.
