A quiet, beautiful monastery located in the forest among the mountains.
There is a good paved road leading to the monastery.
There is an atmosphere of peace and tranquility here. The temple staff is responsive, hospitable and happy to conduct a tour of the temple.
A very ancient monastery in the mountains, I saw the icons in the coinage for the first time. Here is the tomb of John Chrysostom, a place of awe. What icons are here!It can be seen that the source of the HF is also very old nearby.Basilisk and the place of the third finding of the head of John the Baptist. This is a holy place, it evokes indescribable feelings.I advise you to visit the event if possible. There is complete peace here.A walk around the monastery will allow you to see the poultry yard, the cattle yard, the bridge over the river, and the remains of stone buildings.I was very impressed by the monastery, and I will always remember its visit with reverence.
An amazing monastery, located in a quiet, cozy, secluded place, which has the opportunity to calm down and reflect on your affairs, thoughts, and feelings - to tune in for a conversation with God. We were warmly welcomed by the monastery's staff, and Abbot Ignatius took the time to listen to us and answered all our questions, for which we are very grateful. We were at the service on February 6 and 7, and we left in complete peace. I'll be happy to come back again)
The monastery has its own small but very interesting farm: deer, peacocks, Father Ignatius's pets - ostriches, and many others in general, and not far from the monastery there is a holy spring, and there is a chapel of Basilisk Komansky - you will have to climb a little, but do not forget to visit)
