The most beautiful place. Very tasty home cooking, very polite staff who will prompt, show and tell you about all the questions of interest. Very tasty (I want to highlight especially, because there was a case of poisoning and intoxication, but in another place) the purest homemade chacha and compote. We go with my husband to wake up in the morning with kharcho soup and a magnificent ajapsandal. The kitchen is a delight, the location is super.
Thank you very much!
Special thanks to a girl named Hamida. We are delighted with you. If there is, then only here!
A wonderful cafe. Homemade food. Polite staff. Delicious and clean. While we were on vacation in Gudauta, we ate only here. Everything is always fresh.
I thank all the employees of this institution, they work with their hearts, quickly, everything is delicious at home and not expensive. Thank you for your hard work. We walked 3 times a day with the child from the An-tey hotel for 10...15 minutes.
It's a great place. It looks more like a cafe, with a menu, but without waiters. You choose, order and pick up the food yourself. Everything is prepared from natural products and immediately, it is not heated in the microwave. There is a sufficient selection of European, Russian and national dishes. The place is very sincere, simple. They serve good wines and their own cakes inexpensively. The prices are low
We came in once for breakfast. The food was delicious. We took porridge, fried eggs with sausage, pancakes with cottage cheese and tea. The choice is based on a menu that does not have pictures and descriptions. If you have any questions, you need to ask. The tray with food and empty dishes must be picked up and taken to the distribution, this moment is not completely thought out. As usual in Abkhazia, there is no way to pay by card. The prices are average and correspond to the current realities of life.
Excellent dining room, moderately tasty (without frills) and relatively inexpensive, there is air conditioning and tables outside. There is a delicious boat on the menu.
The food is delicious, but there is little variety. There is no visual range for the dining room from which to choose. You choose from the menu and the dishes that the neighbors eat. The staff is friendly, they cook quickly, everything is hot, homemade.
I read the reviews and an interesting thought came to my mind: if visitors can write bad reviews and insult the staff, then why can't the staff write a review about the visitors?
therefore, today I will write a review on behalf of the staff for visitors. maybe someone will finally see themselves from the outside and reconsider their behavior.
first of all, I want to appeal to new visitors who are just thinking of visiting this institution. don't worry, you will be welcomed with pleasure and will be well fed. I advise you to study the menu carefully, because literally all the information is indicated there: opening hours, the list of dishes and the composition of dishes, lunch and breakfast times are scheduled. of course, you can find out all this from the cashier, but if there are too many people, then I'm afraid the cashier will not have so much energy to tell stories. therefore, the menu will help you.
and now I can turn to our regular customers who visit our institution more than once a day, but for some reason they write such horror in the reviews. First, let's talk about the waiting time. most often, reviews write about the fact that they are "waiting a hell of a long time." there are indeed dishes on our menu that will need to wait from 15-30 minutes, but you will definitely be warned about this at the checkout. set the timer and calmly sit down at your table. if you approach the cashier every two minutes and ask if your dish is coming soon, it will not cook faster, and the cashier will eventually get tired of answering you (do not forget that employees are also people). Secondly, let's talk about "poisoning". the staff of this institution eats the same food, from the same pots and pans as you. we don't cook for ourselves separately. but at the same time, none of the employees has ever been poisoned in 8 years of operation of this canteen. and in order not to get poisoned, you should know that some dishes can not be mixed with each other (okroshka on kefir + trout, okroshka on kefir + vinegar + kvass + mayonnaise with sour cream). your experiments lead you to unpleasant situations. Don't forget, too, that your "poisoning" can be caused by climate change, heat stroke in the sun, or an accidental sip of seawater (which, by the way, is teeming with all sorts of infections). and also, please make sure that your children do not lick the glass of the front door, because millions of bacteria accumulate on it every day. If you or your child initially feel unwell, then you do not need to go to the dining room and eat, and then tear up at our door and write reviews that you have poisoned yourself. During this summer, they vomited more often in our dining room than they ate, and believe me, the rest of the visitors are not very pleasant to sit later, and the staff then do not really want to serve you when you do not even have the conscience to clean up after yourself or warn the staff about what happened
Thirdly, let's talk about the "emotionality" of employees, which many are not happy with in the reviews. please understand that when you have 30+ people in front of you, it is extremely difficult for everyone to express any emotions individually. if there are not many visitors, the staff will be happy to chat with each of you. you are not rude to the staff - the staff is not rude to you. everything is simple. in the quads, "the food is like in the dining room." Please note that this is the dining room. there will be no restaurant service and delicious dishes. as for self-service, I will say the same thing - this is a dining room. if you need the waitresses to serve you and bring you the dishes themselves, then there are other great places in our city. but if it doesn't matter to you, then welcome.
I hope that at least now, after reading it, some people will understand and will not behave like garbage with the staff. you respect us - we respect you. We are glad to see everyone in our institution!
I had lunch here every day, as I got up from the beach (July-August 2023).Well done!!!(How picky am I...).The quality and prices are wonderful!Girls - there are no words!..(So, I started with a cafe on the embankment - so-so, "show-offs" and that's all.And I found them - to the point.I also recommend the "Abkhazian table" (500 rubles.)- in a certain place. places in the city; as well as pastry shops =)))
....In short, I came out of the cafe in Kazachy Lane, well-washed, satisfied - and with a smile on my lip =)))
In the summer I will go again - I will eat with them.
Thank you, the girls are Nice!

We had a rest in Gadauti in September 2023. The dining room has been repeatedly leaving the beach. Inexpensive. High quality. Recommend. Do not forget that this is a dining room, i.e. self-service. For dinner, they took pizza with them to the room, it was delicious.
From the canteen, only self-service. Boorish girls that already discourage appetite. More than half of the dishes are missing from the menu. I took a Kiev cutlet and mashed potatoes. The cutlet is so dry that you need to drink another liter of water with it. In general, it is difficult to call it a cutlet because there is more batter in it than the cutlet itself
I had dinner here for several days. Excellent homemade wine on tap. The food is acceptable, "canteen", but everything is always fresh, this is a huge plus for these places, you definitely won't get poisoned here. But a toilet for visitors could be organized, I saw a lot of vacationers with children here, where to run in case of something is unclear
All those who write that they liked it are either bought, or relatives, or the sailors of the flying Dutchman, who do not care whether to eat dog hair soup for lunch today or to beat the unique "khinkali" in this wonderful institution, which look more like three times boiled, defrosted and chewed cow tortillas than that what are they called. And inside lies a surprise: something completely unlike meat. Solyanka: a masterpiece of local production, probably borrowed from the Indian slums, and since it also resembles human waste in color, I'm afraid to guess where the cook was inspired by the recipe, in the kitchen or in the backyard. Instead of chicken fillet, you will be brought a ten-year-old piece of chicken fried in brick dust, which can be used to nail coffins or piles, you will not be able to cope with a kitchen knife, so I recommend bringing a grinder or a samurai sword.
We had lunch in this dining room, ordered a chicken pan and chicken soup. At first, I ate a little of it, because there was a lot of mayonnaise and it wasn't very tasty, my husband was finishing it, which was his fatal mistake. He tasted good. However, towards evening, our stomachs began to turn. A little later, I got carried away, but, in general, I let go, but my husband rinsed all night, so we didn't set foot here anymore, so we ate only here that day.
According to the chicken soup, the noodles are overcooked, the chicken is tough and very fatty.
The day before, we took pizza from them - a lot of tomato paste, little sausage and not particularly fresh cheese, although the dough is delicious👌🏻
In general, I agree with the rest of the negative reviews regarding the lack of a toilet and at least some minimal maintenance (although the price tag is above average).
The coolest cafe, delicious and not expensive, I recommend it. The most delicious homemade wine, the staff is good. In general, only positive emotions remain after visiting this institution
The food is surprisingly delicious!!!! You need to wait a little for your dish, as it is prepared personally. We've been looking for a nice place in the area for a long time, and miraculously we found it, but on the way to the beach!!!!!! And the prices are lower than similar ones!!!
In general, a normal cafe, but the menu does not change. I wanted to order meatballs, it turns out that this dish is no longer made. Kvass is not delicious. Khinkali is expensive, 66 rubles per piece. We have 55 rubles apiece in a Georgian restaurant in Moscow, and they are much tastier. The cafe staff are friendly and polite little girls, except for one, a black, thin one. Naughty girl! Because of her, minus one star.
The kitchen is clean as in the dining room, but sooo delicious KVASS, straight from the barrel ...
And the seller in this institution, by the look of it, is constantly dissatisfied with something ...
Takes the order, and talks to you through the lip!!
Then why work there at all!?!?
Cafe at 4. We had dinner here with friends. Stuffed peppers are delicious. But the dumplings failed. And the boat is also a little dry. If you cleanly take a pizza to the sea, then it will go
I believed the rating!
In fact, even 1 out of 10 stars is not worthy.
Nasty food that takes a hell of a long time to cook.
The service is disgusting, you have to pull out every word when you clarify!
There is a girl sitting at the checkout who does not want to work, as if she is being forced with a stick.
Food .. it also does not shine with taste, then I suffered from diarrhea!
I highly recommend not to push your luck.
Then when I moved from Sukhum to live in Gudauta .. I ate at the Apra cafe.. I advise you, price-quality + empty hall often
It's a strange place.
Completely self-service.
Neither the menu will be served, nor the food.
You approach the girl yourself, take the menu, order food, as soon as you are ready to shout at you to take your food. Customer interest is "0". An absolutely unemotional girl will take your order and inform you about her readiness without any emotions.
The food is standard. It is quite edible, but without frills. But there was no desire to go to this cafe again.
Cafe horror. There are no dishes at all. French fries were not fried as if all the salt and all the pepper were added - there is no taste at all. And the oil is terrible, it's already old. Chicken soup is also not delicious - overcooked noodles, and potatoes are in large chunks. There is no taste. Tomatoes that are with French fries are bitter, and it is not possible to eat them. Caesar with shrimps is also shameful - the shrimps themselves are missing, and it is not possible to chew crackers, just a bunch of mayonnaise and salad. Honey cake is more or less, but also not clear of some kind. Only the compote is normal. The staff is also laughing in the kitchen instead of working. In a word - u-zh-a-s. We won't come here anymore.🫤
Many thanks to the staff! Well done! Always clean and everything is delicious! The price is reasonable! Delicious breakfasts in the morning, chicken soup and pastries in the afternoon!
I didn't like it at all.
Starting with the service, the girl at the checkout mumbled to herself, answering simple questions.
Their main menu is served only from 12:00!
The toilet for visitors does not work, wherever you want, go there, even into the sea. It's nearby.
We took an omelet, it seems nothing, but too much butter.
This place definitely cannot be positioned as a dining room. The prices are by no means "canteen", and the service is exactly like in a cafe: you order and you expect.
My family and I have been on vacation in Abkhazia for several years. We ate very often in this cafe-dining room, as it is conveniently located, very affordable prices. I want to disagree with the previous review, but as you know, everyone finds what they are looking for ...
We really like the cuisine of this institution, a large selection for every taste.
We tried to have lunch here several times. The portions are small (even the plates are small) The cutlets are tasteless, over-dried. They can serve a side dish, and then after 15-20 minutes the meat is added to it. There is no service. I don't recommend it.
Delicious, fast, free Wi-Fi, I didn't like the meat on the last day, (tough, they obviously brought such an unsuccessful one). The drinks are delicious, clean.
We ate 2 times, everything is not delicious! The quality of the food is like in a cheap canteen somewhere on the highway (((.
It's a shame in Abkhazia, which is famous for its hospitality to cook and feed people like that!
The second day of rest, we went to lunch, ordered trout, khinkali, okroshka, caesar salad. Okroshka: sour water with cucumbers, khinkali: gray dough, undercooked, meat smeared on the dough...the very sight of khinkali does not inspire confidence initially. Caesar salad is a separate song, why call the dish Caesar, if it's just a mess of breadcrumbs, chicken fibers, mountains of mayonnaise and Peking cabbage, in short, horror... The only thing that brightened everything up was the trout, cooked decently, no worse than on the "Veranda"-a restaurant by the sea. There was a second visit, they returned with the memory of trout, but this time they ordered borscht, kharcho, meat in French, macaroni with cheese and a cutlet in Kiev. There was a thought to leave after the grub- it was just terrible, the GRUB-BORSCHT was there, and everything was crunchy, raw onions, carrots... Brrr. French-style meat, pork sole with mayonnaise on top. Macaroni and cheese had to be cut with a knife, it's terrible, and they paid more than 1t.r. for everything. the approach to vacationers is so simple... They want to earn money, but apparently karma does not allow them to feed the norms... Although the waiter at the checkout is sincerely surprised and sympathetic to the customers, the message "RUN" was read in her gaze.
I read the reviews and was horrified
everyone writes about how not tasty it is, how long they waited and that the staff is terrible, but they never found anyone to write for their boorish behavior. we were sitting, waiting for an order from a nearby table, a man came up and took someone else's order. and then he swore that he had not been given his order and something else had not been completed.
also, I saw reviews that they allegedly waited a long time for an order. you should understand that dishes such as: French-style meat, chop, you need to wait for them, because the meat must be fried. boats, khachapuri and pizza should also be waited for, as the dough is baked.dumplings, khinkali are also cooked, as the meat should be boiled inside. they can't cook it for you in the morning and have it standing all day. they cook fresh. Don't you cook at home? Do you know how long it takes to prepare?
I'm not talking about children at all. they open the doors for questioning, although the air conditioner is working in the dining room, napkins are torn, food is all under the table, but parents are silent and do not say a word to their children. they communicate with the staff very rudely, they can even insult and send them. they order dishes, and then, when they have already brought it, they say that they have been waiting for a long time and refuse.
The dining room is small and, of course, cannot accommodate a large number of people. that's why it's a dining room, not a restaurant
, we liked everything. the prices are reasonable, the dishes are delicious. The wine and homemade dishes are simply amazing. I advise you to visit
The fifth year in Abkhazia, and in particular, in Gudauta. My family and I walked the whole town and, as a curious tourist, looked into a lot of places.
Of all that I have seen, I note this particular dining room. I rarely want to leave feedback, but in this case I just couldn't help but write.
It has everything you need:
A wonderful, hearty cuisine;
A simple but pleasant atmosphere;
The staff is friendly and ready to prompt and explain everything;
And last but not least, nice prices.
I will explain the negative comments here. I will try to be concise and accessible:
In one case, people apparently do not understand the banal difference between a restaurant and a cafe-canteen. Well, they can't in a cafe-dining room, where all dishes are prepared individually, you can serve dishes as quickly as in a restaran (where they are prepared with a reserve and - often - from semi-finished products). Yes, your order will have to wait, but believe me, there are longer delays in local restaurants.
In another case, people do not fully understand the peculiarities of the national cuisine and language.
Some dishes (for example, "solyanka") are a completely different dish than ours in Russia. And here (what I have already mentioned) the staff will help you: they will tell you and explain everything, just do not hesitate to ask.
Like that. It's up to you, of course. Personally, my family and I will stay in Gudauta right here without much hesitation!)
We decided to have lunch, paid 950r, did not eat most of the food. There are few seats, the service is long, but the menu seems to have low prices. Solyanka - fat floats, it doesn't look like solyanka, they didn't eat it. The Greek salad, a small bowl, was not seasoned with anything, but it was eaten. Chicken breast with vegetables turned out to be fried chicken escalope with a very strange mass on top, on a cucumber of hair, they ate the escalope, removing this mass, to taste 3 out of 10. The salad "tenderness" was not seasoned, the taste was rotten eggs, they did not eat. Draft beer seems delicious, but then we saw how dirty beer glasses were taken in the kitchen and rinsed with water, wiping just with your hand inside, it was not pleasant from this…
It is better to overpay 500 rubles, but to eat at a restaurant, which there are a couple nearby.
