Plus - good location, the waiter is friendly
Minus - we waited a long time for the order, the food is average in taste and the waiter very persistently told us that 15% extra is not service, but some kind of mythical VAT. He demanded to leave more tips on top.
Being so persistently deceived is not very pleasant

Terrible kitchen. Any provincial eatery is more edible than there. Chikhirtma with vinegar(!!!) slightly tinted with milk. Beetroot jelly instead of salalate is sour, you can't take it in your mouth. Pepper is piled in stewed veal, Mexico is resting. The pals are bland. Khinkali with coriander were without coriander. The most uselessly spent 120 GEL. It feels like the food was deliberately spoiled. Avoid this diner.

We went in, no one came up to us. They chose the table themselves and sat down. We were served by a Russian-speaking waiter, who answered unfriendly and ironic (we asked about mini khinkali, he told us that it was logical to guess what it meant.... If you have asked a question, then we want to hear clarification, not sarcasm). Khinkali is delicious, they gave it two stars, not one. The prices are higher than in other establishments, but there was also a surprise for the included (15% !!!!!!) the service is on the bill, which was not. It is better to go to other establishments where friendly waiters who WANT to leave a tip, and not it is included by default in the bill. Here, the waiters do not seek to please you and serve you as it should be

An hour later, we went to the bar and asked for a refund, as we couldn't wait any longer. After that, the waiter brought us an ice kebab. There were 2 tables for the whole establishment. The service is disgusting 👎 for this price , you can find many much better establishments

Fried eggs with sausages were cooked for 40 minutes.

A good place to have a delicious dinner after a walk around the city. The location of the establishment is very convenient. There are always places, both tables for 6 people or more, and for two.
The service is good, we did not notice the "flaws" that previous commentators noted. The menu was brought immediately and the order was accepted after 5 minutes.
The order did not have to wait long. Delicious dishes. Khinkali and pork kebab are recommended.
The toilet is clean.

Very average - the service is long, we waited until they cooked khinkali for about an hour. To taste, they turned out to be generally edible, but not to say delicious. The interior has no pretensions to at least some comfort and sophistication, ordinary rough wooden tables and chairs. Of the good, perhaps, only the location and a good view from the terrace of the second floor.

1. We accepted the order and asked to pay immediately
2. When we were sitting, the cleaner came up and started cleaning around us, taking out dust, etc.
3. Toilets are not cleaned and are not monitored.
4. Coffee was brought very bitter and sour, despite the fact that for the same price in the Vake area, all coffee shops brew good specialty.
I do not advise this institution, if you want to feel the mood of Georgia, you should go to another place (there are good options nearby)

We came here walking around the city. We were told that the cafe is online. But it turned out to be not cheap at all-the prices are restaurant prices, but the service is not at all! The food is medium-lettuce (tomatoes, cucumbers with traditional nut sauce) was brought simply without nuts, khinkali and lobio also turned out to be three, lemonade had to be asked again. I have been traveling to Tbilisi regularly since 2016.
We had dinner at Samikitno yesterday. In general, we were going to eat khinkali, but there was a queue in Pasanauri, so we went here.
By itself - 146% disappointment! The fare is half as much as two years ago (in terms of portion sizes), the prices for the entire menu are twice as high.
Khinkali waited for 40 minutes. They brought it. Salt with cartilage, minced meat from a cow that died of old age, kalakuri (khinkali with greens) without greens, in general, it sucks. They were only worse... Actually, I can't remember, I don't know where it was worse.😭😭 Even in Novgorod, in a pan-Caucasian-Asian pub with hookah and karaoke, khinkali was tastier.
I couldn't finish my meal. For the first time in my life, I did not finish khinkali in Tbilisi – that's how much they were lousy.
This is far from the first jamb of Self-defense. There were over-checks, and over-salted diluted chakhertma and a shish kebab, a draught sapiravi, after which heartburn torments the whole day... I looked through the reviews, an interesting observation: how dramatically they change with the date of publication! Until 2020, they were more or less good (then they really offered one of the best combinations of quality and price). After 2020– Yaroslavna's cry.
Not a foot in Samikitno anymore. Zurab, katso, you are a good guy, an excellent waiter, but you work in a bad place, and with your work you keep this garbage dump alive, deceiving the expectations of guests, participating in this deception. Very sorry. There are so many great places and restaurants around... Change jobs!

The place has deteriorated very much. Very mediocre and absolutely not tasty food. We were here in 2019, it was much better. It was inexpensive and delicious. But now it's just a nightmare. Prices have been increased, quality has been lowered. We ate without pleasure. If you only eat sausages and dumplings according to the promotion, then maybe it will be good for you. But even in the Russian Federation, Georgian restaurants cook better.
The menu says that the price includes an 18% fee. As a result, the receipt shows that the price does not include this fee.
In general, I highly recommend it. We arrived hungry from the road and were very upset.

The place has become disgusting. It was in June 2016, it was impossible to sit down during the day, everything is busy, but the service is fast and everything is delicious. October 2022 when boarding, 30% waited for the waiter for 10 minutes, then wine (the volume of the glass is not specified in the menu - it just says 1 glass) and cheese slicing for 20 minutes. They asked to warm up baby food, brought with them in the microwave, waited longer than wine, brought boiling water, the child screamed, and could not eat. As a result, the wine in the receipt is not what you ordered, but expensive, 15% service is included in the receipt. They began to poke at our indignation with the first page of the menu, allegedly it was written there and immediately forgot the Russian language, which they had previously spoken perfectly. They didn't figure it out and left only because of a hungry baby.
Tip: order either homemade wine for bottling, or a whole bottle to understand what was brought to you. Very often in some establishments there are doubts about the drinks brought in glasses.
And this place should be avoided.
