A night on the road and here he is on his first day in Gagra. I chose the restaurant for lunch the closest to my place of residence, and besides, it turned out to be also with a sea view!
At the bar (since the waiters did not pay any attention to me at all), I asked for a menu, chose food and was ready to place an order. I was offered a seat. The waiter with a sour face deigned to come up after 5-10 minutes. I made an order: 200 g lamb kebab, sauce for it and a glass of juice. I waited in half with grief, they brought me hard, veined and fat pieces of meat, several rings of cucumber, a pile of onions, sauce and juice. I understand everything, shish kebab is not good everywhere, but when it turned out that I had to pay 951 rubles for IT, I was shocked. Do not forget about the 10% service fee! Those unfortunate likenesses of meat on a plate are as much as 350 grams. Let me remind you that 200 were ordered and I perfectly understand what kind of portion it should be, since I often eat shish kebab. Speaking of payment. The waiter was so indifferent to my presence in the establishment that I had to get up and go to him myself so that he would punch the check. Zero attention. Disgusting service.

Every day we went to the beach past the cafe Midel, and it would have been better to walk past it further, but on the eve of departure we decided to have lunch there. We ordered Lagman, two pilafs, two portions of mashed potatoes with cutlets, mashed mushroom soup, and manta rays… after the mantas, my child was rinsed for three days, with a fever and all the delights. She didn't have time to eat anything else that day. There was hair in one pilaf, and meat with blood in the cutlets. And only lagman was very tasty. The wait for the dishes is also very long. The same dish ordered in two copies was brought with a difference of 30 minutes. I do not recommend visiting. PS. Manta's daughter's favorite dish - she does not want to hear anything about them now. That's how eating in the Middle deprives you of your favorite dishes.

We rested in Gagra in September, sunbathed on the beach next to the Midel restaurant and naturally had lunch in the Midel. We occupied a table on the veranda overlooking the sea. The waiter guys serve quickly, the dish was taken in a pan with different types of meat and potatoes - delicious. We drank Sukhumi BEER. I didn't like the faded tortillas that are served instead of bread. A 10% tip is included in the receipt Automatically For two people who spent about a thousand rubles for lunch.
The restaurant has a good coffee machine, the cappuccino is excellent.
Pleasant atmosphere, music playing.

The waitress girl is a separate topic for discussion. Rude, insults customers. This did not affect us , but the woman at the next table left humiliated. To the question "will breakfast be ready soon?" and she asked in a normal tone.
She was told, "You ordered scrambled eggs five minutes ago, what's wrong??? You are not alone here! Or are you the hungriest???"
Guys, aren't you crazy to talk to visitors in that tone? And where is the service? And where is the tact and helpfulness of the staff?
We will not visit this place anymore, and I will also not recommend it to my friends!
Train the staff in communication manners and service, then good people will be attracted to your welcoming teahouse..... but this is not accurate 😃

We had lunch here.

But the result of the lunch really spoiled the impression: we ordered meat in Abkhazian style, the menu costs 350 grams for 300 rubles.
As a result, the bill was 350 rubles.
The waiter (or manager) solved the situation calmly in our favor, explaining this by an error when printing the menu. After all, in fact you buy 300 grams for 350 rubles 😄
They counted it as 300 in the end, but the included 10% tip was calculated based on the initial bill.
So you can get caught with dishes if you don't pay attention. Be careful
