You can find here old stuff, cats and nice atmosphere. Meal is quite good. The spase isn't big, so be ready, other guests will be near)

An unusual and atmospheric cafe! Located in the Balat area, there is no hearty food, only drinks and snacks. The menu is entirely in Turkish, but the friendly waitresses were able to help with the selection in English. Vintage is everywhere, and the door to the bathroom looks like the door from the refrigerator. Well, cats who feel at ease among the visitors of the institution)

I recommend a place!
By points: staff, atmosphere, food and drinks.
The staff is very friendly and cozy. They speak English well, know the menu and can tell you about the positions in it. The cat staff is very fluffy and interactive! Cats can come up on their own, jump on their knees, on the table. I can sleep on you, on a table, on a chair, anywhere. But if cats bother you, the female workers will come up and help you!
The atmosphere is calm. There are many different decorative elements inside the cafe - paintings, figurines, lamps. Of note to me: cute coffee cups, a menu in the form of a handwritten letter, a jar from Germany from under liqueurs is used for storing toothpicks!!
The toilet is clean, well-groomed. The entrance to the toilet is through the refrigerator, it sounds and looks very funny)))
Food and drinks are on the level. Good value for money! My husband ordered an "omelet with cheese" - he was very pleased! And there is a lot of cheese, and not enough butter! I took Breakfast Naftalin, the girl warned me in advance that it was two toasts with pasta, cheese and ... I already forgot ... but it's very tasty! I also recommend it!
Drinks are top!! And the cups are top! I really liked coffee in Turkey with milk and Americano with milk for my husband.))
In general, I advise you to visit the institution!

We went to rest after visiting the area. We were outside, we could appreciate the interior a little, through the windows) The staff are very polite, young people) The coffee and lemonade are delicious, the prices are adequate for the tourist area. The original location. It is very atmospheric and unusual, and the cuisine is not bad, everything is delicious. The prices are not space. Local cats feel like masters, however, as in general in Istanbul))) Definitely worth a visit.

We liked everything. We came on a tip from bloggers, after we looked at the Balat and the church upstairs. Therefore, to relax and drink coffee was as the doctor ordered. The key description of the cafe is atmospheric. A toilet is required for visiting. I can't tell you from the menu. Coffee is normal. The waitress girl understands Russian.

There are a million cafes in Balata, but we chose this one based on reviews. Because there are cats everywhere)) very lamp-like! The menu is small but authentic, generally delicious, but not to say that it's straight wow. Regular tea is not served after 14:00 for some reason, but with cinnamon - please)
In short, the cats and the general atmosphere make this place really memorable, it's worth a visit

We came based on reviews from the Internet. The prices are too high. Sandwich with melted cheese 180 lire, fried eggs 220 lire. The coffee is only Turkish. We ordered a sandwich and brought it burnt. The only thing is that the interior is interesting.

I love Balat and naphthalene cafe. Sometimes, of course, I think about hygiene - because cats lie on tables and obviously do not wash their paws before that. But it's atmospheric and the coffee is excellent. By the way, everything is OK with health, without consequences.

Спорное ощущение ))если вы не боитесь подцепит таксоплазмоз и вегетарианец, смело приходите !!очень уютно , кофе вкусный, атмосферно ;но вот кошки на столы прыгающие это на любителя !

Очень яркое,симпатичное кафе(правда , туалет в холодильнике), отличная кухня ,приятная обстановка. Наглые кошки могут прийти к Вам за стол, но у мусульман строгий обычай-нельзя плохо относиться к кошкам и прогонять нельзя.

100 lire glass of tea.
Tea and 2 pieces of baklava for 3 came out at ~ 430 lire.
They decided to take the "pomegranate" tea, brought the usual karkade, passing it off as a pomegranate.
