It was from April 16 to April 20, 2025. I liked the hotel. Keep in mind that there is a high-rise and a low-rise hotel. I lived in a high-rise building. The rooms are clean, cozy, and there is plenty of space. The breakfasts are good, mostly Chinese dishes. There is an indoor swimming pool in the hotel, the ceiling is glass, I used the pool. The hotel is in a good location, where there are a lot of Chinese cafes.
You can live, the most necessary things are available in the room. The repair is not the newest. Two euro beds, a TV, a refrigerator that leaks, a very miniature closet with hangers, shelves and drawers are catastrophically minimal. There is a kettle and dishes. The bathroom is equipped with the bathtub itself, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, shower caps, essentials, everything is available. Bathrobes, towels for 2 persons, are changed every day. They are cleaned every day. There is a carpet on the floor. Convenient location of sockets. The cuisine is mainly Chinese, with elements of European (eggs of all kinds, classic yogurts, a variety of fruits, herbs, fresh vegetables, all kinds of flour products, coffee machines).
On the 6th floor there is a fitness room, there is also a swimming pool (far from the cleanest), sauna, spa.
There is a metro station within a 2-minute walk. Cafes, restaurants on every corner, a 7-minute walk there is a 24-hour grocery minimarket.
In general, if you do not stay at the hotel all day long, you can consider this option for accommodation.
Convenient location for hiking, metro across the street. Clear. The breakfasts are varied, the Swedish line. The interior is outdated, a peculiar smell, but not unpleasant.
A purely Chinese hotel. The breakfast is very Asian. The rooms are quite large, everything is clean and well maintained. Upon check-in, the registration was very long - 30-40 minutes, despite the fact that we were alone. It is about a 20-minute walk from the center of Shanghai. There is a low-rise building with small establishments around. There is a shopping street nearby
We went to Shanghai after a break of 5 years.
We decided not to take any chances and turned to a travel agency, among the proposed ones was this one.
I was looking for reviews: but there are practically none. Therefore, I will leave feedback.
BY location: this is the center.
There is a subway nearby (across the street).
The promenade is about 2.5 km away on foot.
Food: there is a buffet (Chinese version)
In general- there is something to choose from. There are a lot of incomprehensible things.
Next to the hotel there is a Poppy, what a famous cafe with desserts (there was always a queue at the entrance)
And on the other hand, there is a restaurant (strongly put, just a snack bar) where they serve crabs and rice.
VIEW: The Pearl was visible from our window.
Entertainment:
Hotel guests can use the gym and spa area (a tiny steam room and a swimming pool are also Chinese (meter deep).
BOTTOM LINE: the hotel is a good, proven option.
I took one star for the furniture in the room. It's time to update definitely. And the old plumbing, just terribly old, and the hair dryer is so old, straight from 1970. . The coolest thing I liked about the hotel was the view from the window and the location, near the metro. The beds are comfortable, the pastel linen is also nice. There is no minibar in the room😖😖
There is a swimming pool, not very bad, access is included in the room rate.
And I was unpleasantly surprised that they took a deposit for the room of 2000 yuan, then returned it.
In general, it's fine, at first we took a small room, paid extra, changed the room to a large one, the view is excellent. The restaurant was closed for the holidays without warning.
The hotel is located in the center, opposite the metro, the breakfasts are mediocre, the rooms are old, upon check-in they found out that the TV was not working, they were replaced with a new one within an hour. A 4-star hotel.
Everything is pretentious , but already all the tired rooms too . Maybe 10 years ago it was decent , but now you have ! There is no water in the hall , which is amazing ! And they don 't take a small deposit !
