Very, very, very much not. This is one of my worst experiences in this kind of institution.
I signed up with a master who, as it says on their booking service, has 5 years of experience, a barber of the highest category.
1) it all started with washing your hair. I washed it. I didn't wipe it off, but just put a towel on top of my head. And, in fact, he invited me to the hall and to a chair.
He washed extremely sloppily. Water got into my ears several times. This can happen as an accident in general, but here, the ears were not covered from the jet, the water was poured very sloppily, because the water just calmly poured into its ears. Not drops, but just streams poured into my ears. When the washing was over, it flowed from the ears, including
As he said, he put a hand towel (small) on my head, waited for me to get up (I thought that maybe they would rub my head now, but my expectations are my problems), and the master called me into the hall, showing, in fact, the way with his hands gestures, accompanying me himself.
2) I sat down in an armchair (which was old and physically felt not very stable). I'm dripping with water. Neck, T-shirt...
the master did not rub the towel over his head very intensively - OK. Then he began to comb and prepare his head for a haircut.
3) A few minutes after the start of preparing for the haircut and combing, the master takes the length of my bangs and asks if I should cut off as much (length adjustments). I say that it is possible to cut off more - he intercepts, shows, I say "ok" and ask him to wipe my neck, because water flows very strongly from my head (in streams). The master says, "Dada, now." He combs my hair, takes a strand again and asks about the length. "Yeah, OK, I didn't say," I reply and ask you to rub my neck again. His colleague apparently translated my words into a closer and more familiar language for barber - they wiped my neck.
4) During the entire haircut process, the master was distracted by giggling with colleagues. I am not against the mood, communication, work in the style and manner that brings pleasure, but when it does not interfere with quality. I thought about it in the chair then and decided to trust the process. It would have been better to leave at the very beginning, when everything was just beginning. There was such a thought, too, but I decided not to judge too harshly from the very beginning. Stayed. Now I understand that I should have left.
5) I have a natural parting on my head that separates the two directions of hair growth. The haircut that I have been wearing for more than 10 years is actually focused on this parting and implies its presence.
In general, a master with 5 years of experience could not find a parting two times. The third time. I ask you to look in the mirror - he says, "Yes, that's right, that's right." I think: "well, okay, OK, I'll trust you, after all, the master has experience, knowledge, should be able to find it + now he says confidently that he has found it." I shouldn't have believed it again...
6) the parting punches - does not ask the thickness is ok / not ok. Thicker, maybe.
7) he called to wash his hair at the end of the haircut. A complete repeat of point 1. It just pours. The water flows like anywhere. Cold / too warm in temperature - there was no question. Neither the first nor the second time.
At the end, he just put a small hand towel on his head. I no longer warmed myself with hopes, I immediately took it and wiped it myself.
Like that.
In short, in the end, after a couple of days, I went to get a haircut.
That's the experience.
Great barbershop 👍🏻 Everything is at the highest level 👍🏻 Thanks to the receptionist, they offered coffee 👍🏻 After the haircut, they did a massage for the head, before and after they washed 👍🏻
Thanks to Barber, I'm a regular customer here now. 👍🏻
Awesome service, I got a haircut for 10 out of 10, I also showed up without an appointment and I was served at the highest level, the masters did well, I liked everything. I recommend it to everyone!!!
