For a long time we could not decide where to go, to Hurghada or Sharm, we looked at many hotels, but we could not find the right hotel according to our criteria: 2 adults and a child of 2 years. We were looking for priority 1 line, smooth entrance to the sea, sand + quiet hotel. I reread the reviews a lot and in the end, purely by chance, I came across Dahab and this hotel (of course I read the reviews), without hesitation, we took a tour and did not regret it. We arrived with flight delays from Moscow, instead of 00:00 at 02:00, we were told that it would take a long time- 100 km, but in fact the direction was not very tourist and we were met by a minibus, in which there were 2 more people besides us in one hotel, we arrived in 1 hour (before that we were in Hurghada, we drove even longer, because it took 1.5 hours until everyone was taken away). We arrived at the reception at about 03:30 and checked in immediately. I knew in advance that the hotel had 2 floors and asked the receptionist (a man with age and glasses) to move to the second floor. Surprisingly, our request was fulfilled without additional charges (although they usually hint at money in other hotels, etc., and they specifically put us in terrible rooms so that people would give money for a room change - there are no extra charges.they didn't ask for money in their pocket!). Special respect to the administrator- he asked if we wanted to eat (it's almost 4 a.m.!) and seeing that our child was sleeping, I asked the cleaner, who was cleaning the floor with a noisy car, to stop for now. I have a lot of respect for this and a feeling that the hotel is great. The hotel itself consists of 2 floors, has 3 buildings, which are connected by a common lobby and a terrace with stunning views of the pool and the sea. It is made in an authentic style (I immediately imagined a villa in the 17th-18th century), with views of the pool from one part of the buildings (rooms for 1000 and 2000) and an amphitheater (showtime) with a Jacuzzi (3000). Almost all rooms have a sea view, with access to the balcony. Our room, 3221, turned out to have a view of the amphitheater and the sea (the usual superior with a view of the garden (as it said on the voucher)). Typical for any hotel in Turkey or Egypt, a separate squeak is attached to the antique wood in the room, from which chairs, mirror frames, wardrobe and doors are made (similar to the style in Indian guesthouses). The room has a TV, kettle, tea/coffee maker, free safe, balcony, air conditioning, refrigerator. Cleaning is daily, the rooms are not super new, but we came here not to sit in the room, but to swim in the sea, and the room was used as a place to sleep at night)), so minor scuffs were not noticed. If you expect neither a speck of dust nor a speck of dust, alas, this is not the case. Standard cleaning for Egypt and Turkey, except that the guys who clean the rooms greet each other in the hallway and say that if something needs to be said to them right away, which again shows the friendliness of the staff. The hotel has 2 restaurants and 3 bars.: Main restaurant The second restaurant in the 3rd building, similar to ala kar, is also a snack bar during the daytime, but the order is on the menu!(4 types of pizza, drinks, 4-5 salads and sandwiches with burgers). Since it is located across the building from the pool, apparently not everyone knows about it and there are almost never any people. Beach Bar Lobby bar Pool Bar Everywhere in bars they give chips and nuts if you ask. Pour local alcohol Food: The assortment is not large and without any frills, but when they taste the food, the chefs know how to cook and have a sense of taste. The usual breakfasts are eggs, greens, toasts, porridges, milk soups, eggs, fruits, desserts Dinners- pastas, meat, fish, soups, desserts. Dinner is like lunch, but there is a grill and a new one every day (duck/chicken/shrimp/crab/steak/red fish), but it is repeated only once a week. The animation is not intrusive, but the animators are very friendly, especially the same ones: Butch / darts / charging / aqua charging / water polo / children's disco / showtime (regular). There is also a children's playground and there one of the animators sits with the children, draws / plays, etc. The territory of the hotel: Well-groomed, compact, pleasing to the eye. There are flowers and palm trees + lawn. Beach: Sand, with small shells at the entrance to the sea (you can walk without any guards), the entrance is gentle, there are buoys. The depth is 50-80 meters from the shore. There are always free sun beds with umbrellas (similar to the pool). Equipment for kitesurfing, wind surfing, diving, etc. can be rented on the beach. By the way, people go to Dahab specifically for wind surfing and diving (there is a famous blue hole near the city). There is a free shuttle service to Dahab from the hotel and back, 2 times a day, in the afternoon and evening. There is a wind, but not stronger than in Hurghada, and maybe weaker, which is also a plus - it accelerates the heat and does not interfere much. In general, the hotel is great for families with children and those who want to relax mentally! If you are looking for noisy discos and parties, this is not the place. At 22:00, the animation ends and the hotel is quiet. At the pool during the day, there is also no hammering non-stop music. The hotel has a very friendly and helpful staff who will always help - this is a separate cool part of the hotel. I will add that the departure is at 12:00, the bus was supposed to pick us up at 17:00, but the employee at the reception called his manager and they are free! our room was extended until 16:00, for which we thank them very much. If to Egypt, then only here!!! These are not disadvantages, but what would I add for even greater convenience: 1) Make dryers on the balconies to hang things (on the wall, small). 2) make a ramp for strollers on the stairs (although any walking hotel employee always helped us lower the stroller himself). P.S. take a fumigator with you, etc., because at night in Egypt it is impossible to sleep with the window open, because of mosquitoes. Turn on the air conditioner at 23-24 degrees, close the windows and everything will be OK. Brush your teeth with bottled water, as there is no central sewer system, as in Turkey and other Asian countries.

A good hotel, quite a variety of food. There is no territory, the entire territory of the hotel is between the buildings and the beach. The beach is excellent, no rocks, no corals, the entrance to the water is smooth, very suitable for children. As of October 2021, the hotel is no more than 2/3 full. There is an "unobtrusive" traditional Egyptian room service: until you poke your finger, they will not clean, well, or you can support the cleaner with money :) This is not the first time we have stayed at this hotel, compared to 2015, everything is the same, even the staff is the same.

Nice hotel. Spacious rooms, cleaned every day. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful territory. Delicious and varied food. We were in early May, there were a lot of Russians. This is a place where they learn to surf and kite. One of the disadvantages is the very high cost of massage services.

The level of service has dropped very, very much, compared to what it was 2-3 years ago… Very low level of cleaning: mirrors and windows are covered in dust, stains and fingerprints. Rusty plaque and mold in the shower! The garbage that accidentally rolled into a corner lay there for 3 days, until we noticed it ourselves and threw it away. A stain from spilled by the former!!! by the guests, the liquid under the phone did not disappear in 5 days, although the phone and the floor lamp were swapped and the stain could not be overlooked. The covers of outdoor chairs are covered in dirty footprints. Beach towels are no longer given out daily on the beach, so they are stale for several days, there is nowhere to dry them. In the morning, the reception staff said that Late Check out is 80 USD per room before 22.00, including dinner. We come to pay in the evening, other employees inform us that only until 20.00 and dinner is not included. There is no answer to the question of why they gave completely different information in the morning. No official paper confirming this or that information is shown. It is highly undesirable to print out the payment documents. At the same time, we repeatedly used this service earlier and everything was fine: dinner was included, and we were allowed to leave not even at 22.00, but at 23.00 when we were with the children. After the eviction, the room remained unmade until departure at 23.00, not to mention that someone moved into it. It is not possible to pay with a card after eviction if the amount is less than 10 USD. At the same time, a nearby pharmacy quietly accepts payment of 40 Egyptian pounds (approximately 2.5 USD) by card. Extremely low level of animation: primitive, immature and boring, while very loud: 20-25 people participate in lobio, the whole hotel listens until 22.00 ... Performances in the atrium have sunk into oblivion… The staff, with the exception of the waiters, are without masks. Even the chief administrator of the restaurant. Waiters without gloves. Tables and door handles are not disinfected. Is there no Covid 19 in Egypt???
