Izmir Zoo has left the most pleasant impressions! I especially remember graceful giraffes, playful monkeys and majestic lions. I really liked that the animals are kept in spacious enclosures where they can behave naturally. I was pleased that the zoo pays great attention to the educational component, telling visitors about each inhabitant. I've been here all day and I've never been bored. Be sure to visit this wonderful place! 🦁🦒🐒
A wonderful huge natural park. I recommend visiting in spring or autumn, as it is very hot in summer, and the territory is so large that it will be difficult. Places with drinking water are very often located. A wide variety of animals. And a very nice price)).
A worthy place, one of the best parks! A very large area, it will take 4-5 hours slowly. There are many animals and birds, all in their natural habitat. The price at the time of the visit is 30 rubles. Children are free of charge.
A great place in Izmir. The first time I saw an elephant was here. Admission by using an Izmirkart card or by cash tickets (cash desks nearby). I advise you to visit in the morning and take the izban to Chigli station, and then take a taxi, because if you take the bus, you will drive for a long time and crowd with children / people. However, we took a bus from the Bostanly pier)) But I don't recommend it. The park itself is great. I personally went for the giraffes and elephants, saw them and was pleased. I advise you to visit definitely, especially if you do not know what to do in Izmir :)
It's a wonderful place. Excellent animal husbandry, good visibility and lack of smell (even in enclosures with ungulates. important!!! (for compatriots): 1. The entrance fee is exclusively automatic at the turnstile. Or with visa, master cards (not Russian) or replenished with an Izmirik card. They don't take the cache. They take it "quietly" too. Gazprombank's Union Pay, of course, does not work either. After we tried all the payment methods, they let us through for free, but it's not the fact that it's always like this. They did not find how to pay via the Internet. 2. Arrive in the morning for the opening, plan for four hours. During the day, in the heat, many animals have a siesta.
Being far from the center is a minus. The park itself is huge, well-maintained, and there are many animals that live in excellent conditions. It doesn't look much like a zoo.
It's a great zoo. There are few tourists, spacious aviaries, and the animals are happy and contented. Just like us.

A very cool zoo!
Probably the best I've seen. There is a wide variety of animals, but this is not the main difference of the zoo.
The main thing is that everything is done in such a way that you get the feeling that you are right in the habitat of animals. Fences are often made so that you can't see them if you don't look closely.
A lot of birds roam freely around the territory - especially peacocks - they walk everywhere by themselves😁
It was nice, some animals were not in their places, it was sad and it was very overcrowded. It is a sign that you can not work on Sundays, there can be no such traffic.
A great place to stay, BUT if you're a local. To buy a ticket that costs a penny, you need to buy a card. Which, as a result, visitors will need few places. It's just a disaster to call a taxi there. The zoo is not big, but very well maintained. The payment is made only by bank transfer, cash is accepted very limited.
for those who want to have a good time as a family..

The great journey through Turkey 2019 continues, the upcoming review of the Istanbul Aquarium.
The purpose of our trip to Izmir was the zoo. Izmir Zoo is home to more than 1,500 wild and domesticated animals of approximately 120 species, including birds and reptiles, as well as endangered species. The park gives visitors the opportunity to look at animals in an environment close to their natural habitat. The zoo area is 425 acres.
Peacocks walk quietly around the territory, the sounds of other small birds can be heard in the bushes along the paths.
There are many fountains throughout the territory where you can cool off, the heat that day was hellish. There are a couple of shops with ice cream, water, and ayran - not my drink, something similar to whey. But they say it cools well in the heat.
The ticket costs an adult 8 lira and a child 3.5 lira.
