I was on vacation with a friend in early July 2024. The hotel was very comfortable in everything! The territory is compact and beautiful! The sea is nearby, it is very important to me)) It takes 5 minutes to walk to the sea. You can also take a bus. The room is cleaned constantly, clean, the air conditioner works well. If there are any shortcomings in the room, then they are immediately corrected! The room is spacious and bright! All employees of the hotel work harmoniously, smilingly, calmly! Interesting animation for adults and children! In the evenings, there is an incendiary dance floor, the singer sings, it's a lot of fun! The restaurant is gorgeous, we ate so much that we couldn't stop))!

Recently returned from vacation. The hotel is great! Almost all rooms have a view of the pool.It's sunny and cozy. Cleaning every day. Thanks a lot to Hamada, who faithfully does his job (we lived in the second building). The food was great, varied, there were 3-4 types of meat, fish was constantly.Once during our 11-day stay there was seafood. It's cool! This almost never happens in other hotels.The pastries are varied, always fresh and delicious. They gave a lot of different fruits. We ate guavas to satiety. No one has limited it. Many thanks to the animators Arina, Aurora and all the others! They're so groovy!!!

The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, the food is good, but monotonous.I didn't like the breakfasts at all. Interesting animation, the guys are trying 100%. It is an 8-minute walk to the sea. Constant tides, we descended into the water from the pontoon, back to the shore on our hands, bypassing the stones))
Life hack: if you go right from the hotel, turn left at the intersection and walk to the highway, then you can catch a minibus and get to any point of Charm for $ 1 for two)) This is Soho Square, Naama Bay, and the old town. Yes, you need to cross the highway to the opposite side. You name your destination, you are either taken or not. You do not need to ask the cost, otherwise they "wave", sit down in silence, and pass $ 1 when leaving.
Be careful in pharmacies, there are fixed prices on tablets, there are no creams and oils - they are diluted 3 times the real cost.

You stayed at the hotel in August, the hottest month for Egypt, but this is probably the only negative. We got a spacious room with a view of the hotel and the central alley. Hair dryer, refrigerator, air conditioning were working,towels were changed every 3 days, rooms were cleaned daily, with high quality (Mustafa- respect!) There are several pools on site, both for adults and children, some pools with slides (open on time), there is a separate water park for children (!!), security staff are on duty at all pools. A shuttle takes you to the beach, 7-8 minutes on foot, the beach is equipped, there are enough sun loungers and umbrellas, there is a clean toilet, after sunset the beach and pools are closed.I would like to say separately about animation and entertainment programs. Aqua aerobics is held daily at all pools, fitness gymnastics (warm-up, yoga, etc.) are held by the pool on the beach. All animators are active and smiling, they remembered Vika and Dasha more. We also saw the Olympic Games on the beach (it was fun)), colorful national dances performed by musicians (they raise half the beach, everyone dances with pleasure), foam parties were held repeatedly, both here and in the neighboring Charm. The evening shows were also impressive. I especially remember the Tanura dance (originally a male dance with skirts), it's just a miracle, especially if you're watching it for the first time!The water show (flyboard, or flying over the water) is also very cool, a Flyer show, the show "Mr. and Mrs. of the hotel". In general, the entertainment program for adults is very versatile. But children are not allowed to get bored either😉I can't help but mention the children's animator Su, who participates in evening adult and children's programs (a very plastic girl) and organizes children's leisure during the daytime (Kids club at the main restaurant).There are always a lot of children around Su, my daughter danced with pleasure in the evening, and in the afternoon - drawings, puzzles, applications, etc., we take crafts home)).The food at the hotel is good, the breakfasts are really somewhat monotonous (omelets and pancakes were brightened up on the street, but you have to stand in line for them), but lunches and especially dinners are very even (grilled lula, stewed beef, delicious fish fillet, crabs were a couple of times, etc.). There are few fruits: melons and dates every day, oranges, grapefruit were occasionally added to them, more often grapes (Turkey, of course, is a priority in terms of fruits)) A pleasant bonus to the trip was a visit to three a la carte restaurants: Chinese, Mexican and oriental. The oriental restaurant is located on the territory of the Siren Charm steam hotel, the dinner was held to symphonic music (a very successful find, in my opinion)).The hotel staff publicly congratulated the birthday people every day, it was solemn and exciting at the same time (I remember that on my husband's birthday in a Turkish hotel I only managed to beg a candle for a mini-cake)).In short, our vacation was a success, for which many thanks to all the hotel staff without exception!!

We rested in the beginning.November 24 at the Ivy Cyrene adult only Hotel. And there is another Cyrene adjacent - with children.
The sea is 500 m away along an asphalt path from the mountain. The beach is private, for 2 hotels. You can take a bus, but for active people without small children, it doesn't make much sense to wait for it. The path looks safe, viewed by a security guard. There are no stalls, Bedouins with camels, pesky sellers on the road. It is quite possible to walk, we have never waited for a bus.
On the shore there is a swimming pool, toilet, showers, free sun loungers, a bar. But there is no lunch in the bar, this is unusual. Only Tea, water, lemonade, beer, cocktails, ice cream. And we have to go back to the hotel for lunch. They never returned to the sea for the second time. The animation is active. On the beach, exercise, zumba dancing or others, volleyball. There are entertainment programs in the evening, but it's not every day.
We had a problem with towels and linen when checking in. But it was decided at the janitor's level, I changed it. And I took my towels just in case, I remembered that I was not going to "5".
The territory is small, but comfortable. There is nothing around the hotel. There's nowhere to go for a walk here, unless you take a taxi. There are a couple of shops in the main building next to the reception. There are souvenirs, beach clothes, etc., some cosmetics, sweets and household goods. And there are a couple of stalls on the beach.
Plan your leisure time in advance, excursions, board games with you.
The specifics of the hotel without children were understood only on the spot. The main entertainment is drinking, feasting and partying. Songs and dances. It's all late. Well, we normally fall asleep, it doesn't bother.
Meal. In general, it was standard, but the meat and fish dishes were always delicious, which pleasantly surprised me. A good cook. For lunch, there are usually a couple of types of meat, one fish, 2 types of soups, always stewed / steamed vegetables, several dishes, various pastries. Coffee from the coffee machine, a couple of types to choose from, cocoa, tea bags of a couple of types. There is enough food for everyone.
I'm not going to judge alcohol.
Sea. There is a sand at the entrance, a shallow and shallow entrance, and for those who want to go deeper - a pontoon. You can go down from it immediately to the depth. There are several small corals. There are fish, we saw large ones once. These sailed about their business, they did not pay attention to us. And some of the butterfly fish were very sociable.
Overall, the impression is pleasant. Maybe we'll come again. But I will no longer choose a hotel without children.

We had a rest in early May 2024 at the Ivy cyrene island 4-star hotel, with the whole family, with children. The hotel has a second building, there are 18+ children there. I liked the varied food,(especially on the street, the kitchen is grilled, very tasty). The convenient location of the room on the ground floor, a separate entrance and a private balcony. The room is cleaned every day. Towels are changed every day and beach towels too. There are 3 swimming pools on the territory, 1 for children, 60 cm, 2 large ones 110 cm each. There is a bar by the pool where drinks are served. The sun beds are always free. The water temperature in the pool is normal, it is cleaned every day. Children's animation is held daily, during the day they draw, play, in the evening: children's mini disco, children really like it. There is also a show program for adults. The animators are very good, active, smiling, and play well with children. Thank them for that. It is clear that they love their work! It takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the sea, or by an open bus. There is also a bar, sun beds and a variety of programs on the beach. Exercise + in the pool and volleyball. There are small shops and excursions. The sea is beautiful, warm, you can see a lot of different fish without a mask)) The tour was taken from the guide. This is a boat trip with diving with masks and fins + a restaurant. The second evening tour of the city, inexpensive and interesting for the first time. There is a shop next to the hotel, it is cheaper to take goods there. We had a vacation in June 2024 with a family with a one-year-old child. We liked the hotel, the staff treats children very well and pays attention to them. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, but every 10 minutes something like a bus goes) the beach is sandy, it's great for relaxing with a child. The food is normal, we did not go hungry, the only thing we would like more fruits. Overall, we liked everything 😊

How quickly these unforgettable days passed, and it was primarily about the warm Red Sea, the cool reef (we swam with a mask), as well as the hospitality of the entire hotel, starting from the reception, including all the waiters, chefs, bartenders, cleaners! Also thanks to the excellent animation both at the hotel and on the beach-unobtrusive and super pro! The cuisine is excellent: melon fruits, dates, citrus fruits, all kinds of pastries, biscuits, and for meat lovers chicken, beef in different recipes, fish daily and mountains of fresh vegetables, with sauces for all tastes! We will definitely come back here again and of course for a longer period! :) :) :)

We had a rest at the end of May 2024. The air temperature of + 38 is very well tolerated. The location of the hotel is 5+. The staff is nice, friendly and many understand Russian. The managers at the reception are very polite and are always ready to help with any questions that arise. The beach is great. But the employees of the beach bar need to be taught how to communicate with customers and how to handle the dishes in which they pour drinks: 1 - using your fingers to take the inside of the glasses is a violation of sanitary hygiene, 2 - the constant creation of a queue. 3 - you can not pour alcohol into the tank while holding the guiding stream of the drink with your fingers, this is generally an outrageous moment. They do not respond adequately to comments (perhaps they do not understand what is required of them). The management needs to solve this problem. But in general, we are satisfied with the rest.

The biggest disadvantage is the food . In the morning, it is generally difficult to find something for us, except boiled eggs and omelets (where you will need to wait 30 minutes in the sun) and not.Our room was in island, the first days we ate here, then we started going to sarm, once we were told that our restaurant was there, but we said that we did not like it there.
In island, some Egyptians relax with large families, a lot of children, tables are full and they eat, they eat ... (small flies with many children, repairs are underway in the main building where the reception and the restaurant are all in the dust, the air conditioner does not really work.

My review will be not only about the hotel, but about our vacation in general. I'll start in order.
So, the situation is 1.
They meet by clothes, as they say.
We landed in Sharm el Sheikh early - about six in the morning. It takes literally ten minutes to get to the hotel from the port, but before that we decided to ride for an hour around the Charm and were taken to the hotel among the very last.
The hotel, 8 a.m., we have a 1.5-year-old child with us who did not sleep all night. And the price list at the reception is "Early check-in 30%". She came up and clarified - "There are no available rooms" was the answer. OK, we went downstairs, had breakfast, walked around the hotel, saw with our own eyes not one or two empty rooms, reached the sea. They're back. She came up again with a request to check us in. My daughter didn't sleep all night, please.
Everyone just gives a fuck. Everyone frankly puts their money on you and your children. The hurdy-gurdy is the same "there are no numbers".
The time is 10:30. The daughter can't stand the excess and throws a tantrum all over the hotel. We found a room in 5 minutes. And even without money. Which once again confirms that there were rooms available.
It is worth noting that we were immediately given a good room and without additional payment. Spacious. With a normal air conditioner and a normal bed. Away from all the night parties. Evening animation was usually at other pools and bypassed us. Only once in 10 days were the speakers placed right under our door. It's time to beat. And my daughter goes to bed with us at nine in the evening. And they're just starting at nine. The benefit does not last long. Up to ten, up to 10:30 at the most. So we got through this moment safely.
We're moving on.
As we found out later, the hotel has a central dining room in the main building and three on-site restaurants that you can visit for dinner once per stay by appointment. They either forgot to tell us about it, or they didn't consider it necessary. But for the first dinner we went to one of the restaurants- Italian. It was located next to our room by the large pool. No one asked about the recording at the entrance, and we are not aware of it. Satisfied, they went to choose their own food. The head waiter in the pink shirt (remember him. He always works in this restaurant in the evenings.)In any case, it was the same during our vacation. So the head waiter brings us a piece of wine, at the end he asks us to thank him for his work. Well, the husband, without a second thought and in a good mood, gives him $ 10 (remember this moment). I safely take a glass of wine, my husband gin, collect a plate of cakes and take everything to the room. They wave their hand at me safely and let me go in peace. Before closing the restaurant, I return the plates and glasses. Everything is fine, everything is fine, everyone is satisfied and happy.
Situation 2.
I will immediately clarify that my daughter is a regime one. He lives according to the classic kindergarten regime. She has an afternoon nap from one to three. And we don't fit into the dining framework. Falls asleep when lunch starts and wakes up when lunch ends. We thought it wouldn't be a big deal if we took food to the room and fed her after bedtime. Yesterday it was possible. But we are faced with a categorical one. Have I already told you what to put on your children here? And so. And it's not even that you can't. Later they explained to us what was what, why and why. The point is, in what form it was announced it is impossible. No one even tried to figure out who and what the plate was for. I typed it in the translator beforehand and translated it into Arabic. No one even looked at the phone or tried to figure out why I was taking the plate. You just can't do it. And we are in the dark. Yesterday it was possible. I was just sent to the pool bar. French fries will be fried there at 16:00. Feed the child with potatoes, but don't touch our plates.

We decided with my husband as follows. While I'm putting my daughter to bed, he goes to lunch. Then it changes me. Stays with the child. I go to lunch by myself, at the same time I collect a plate for the child and sit waiting for them. But then we faced a new problem - the time is 15:20 the restaurant is closed. Clear the room. We're getting ready for dinner. A curtain. If you want, there are French fries at the bar at 16:00. Thank you. You are welcome. Very pleasant. Here I was already swearing and stood my ground to the last. I won't leave until I feed the baby.
I also want to note that we do not belong to the category of tourists "they left everything and left." We appreciate the work of others. And almost always we cleaned up our own plates after eating. And in principle, we tried not to litter. That is, global cleaning is not required after us.
Situation 4.
Do you remember when I wrote about the Italian restaurant and the head waiter in the pink shirt? We went to this restaurant for three dinners in a row and everything was fine. And they still took the cakes with them. Only the wine was already poured into plastic cups. Then we went to dinner in the communal dining room. Then to a Mexican restaurant. It was then (about the middle of our vacation) that we learned about this restaurant system. We never got to the third one. Well, not the point. Another dinner at an Italian restaurant. The husband comes up with two plastic cups:
- Pour me some wine with you. - 10$.

After dinner, I collect three cakes in a napkin (not even on a plate). The same one in the pink shirt is hoping to beg for something. - It's paid.
I didn't understand at first. What, I say, is it paid? Cakes? - No, you can take it with you for a fee. You can sit here and eat for free. Just a cringe.
How can I ask a Russian person for money? Bring me a plate, wish me a good evening, and I'll give it to you myself. Like it was the first night. After the same, I wanted to wash up first, and then go home.
Well, the situation is 5. We have not decided how to react to it. They laughed, but did not understand 😄
In general, our room was located on the ground floor. There are balconies on the upper floors, and on the ground floors there is just a terrace with an open exit. There are no questions here. Very convenient. We left everything there for the night absolutely without a second thought - we threw a beach bag, hung up swimsuits and some things to dry. They left flippers, masks, a baby bucket with molds. And everything was always fine. My husband smoked sometimes and left a pack of cigarettes on the table. One fine morning we get up and there are no cigarettes. We didn't really attach importance to this - maybe the wind blew away, maybe the cats were stolen (they were constantly hanging out with us). That's how they would have scored. But when they got up the next morning, they found two open bottles of Coca Cola on their terrace. So they stood there until we left. Or maybe they still are. A strange exchange took place🤪
Also, the disadvantages of the hotel (and I consider all of the above to be a very significant disadvantage) would like to include food. There is a lot of food, but there is nothing to eat. And every day it's the same: the same rice, the same pasta, the same pancakes with omelette for breakfast. Products of very questionable quality - cottage cheese with a taste of chlorine (as I recall, I shudder), sliced cheese tastes like plastic. Rice pudding on water. Sausages are like dust.
Surprisingly, in the land of the sea and mangoes, we have not seen either seafood or mangoes. Once in 10 days there was grilled fish and crab soup. And once there was a half-hour party in the afternoon, called the "mango festival". It was the only time the hotel gave mangoes. What they didn't finish, they scooped up and took away. And no one else saw it. Guys, it's just a shame. I eat your mangoes every day in Russia during the season. And then to come to Egypt and not see the mango is just too much🤦🏼♀️ A very meager set of fruits - a couple of times there were bananas, a couple of times grapes. Mostly dates, apples and melon.
Of the advantages, I will note good soups. I liked the orzo soup, chicken with lemon, minestrone in Italian and tomato soup (this is generally my love). I mostly ate them. I liked the vegetables in different variations - stewed, stewed, baked, steamed, grilled, etc. My husband took grilled meat for dinner: slightly overexposed, but you can eat it. Delicious cakes. Here are the cakes I ate right from the heart (plus 4kg🤦🏼♀️). Nice buns and donuts for breakfast.
And French fries, of course. But it's hard to spoil it😄
In general, the restaurant can be described in one word "disorganized". Every day you run around like a fool looking for something - napkins, cutlery, salt shaker, pepper shaker.
At breakfast, the cook always had one plate of sliced vegetables for an omelet and every day this slicing was not enough. Go pick them yourself, cut them up, I'll fry them for you, while the cook himself is very good. In the plan, always with a smile and in the mood. He doesn't mind a tip and a plus sign in karma. But still, the issue of sliced vegetables should be solved.
Alcohol in this institution is a separate kind of beauty. There is no imported alcohol. Only local. And only in plastic bottles🧐 for the first time in my life I saw vodka in a plastic bottle😣 Only my husband dared to try all this. He said so. "Those who like it, they have never drunk real cognac/whiskey, etc." Underline what is necessary. wine in bags. You can only drink it very cold. I got used to it later and drank mostly beer (only they have it in the glass) and took a cuba libre at the bar upstairs. Cola plus ice and it's quite drinkable.
Economists work there. Plastic milipizdric cups. Therefore, take your containers with you (thermoses, glasses, mugs). They try to save money to the maximum. You stand there and beg for as much as you need. And you explain why you need so much🤪
But there were pleasant moments in this barrel of tar.
Firstly, the territory of the hotel. A small one. But well-groomed and very green. The gardeners are working hard.
Some employees. After the episode with that uncle in the pink shirt, I didn't believe it, but there really are those who are happy to see you, regardless of the tip. I'll mark two bartenders at the beach bar. Two people in the upper bar and a special asterisk 🌟 I will mark the one whom we called "our beloved man" among ourselves😄 his name is Mostafa (I hope I didn't confuse anything.. I'm not good at Arabic names, I'm sorry) and he worked in a bar near the central building. Just where the ill-fated French fries are. I swear, I went to this bar purely for him. And Basil, this guy is just incredibly grateful for just the way he is. He was then transferred to a nearby hotel, and some uncle with a disgruntled face was put in his place. You approach him and there is no smile and there is no basil and you immediately want to go far away.
By the way, about the hotel. I did not mention above that the territory is divided by two hotels Charm and Ivy Sirin. The first one is for adults only, the second one is for family. You can use the infrastructure of either of the two hotels. But there is no difference. The events are one, the territory is one. There is only one beach.And the food is also the same. We checked it out.
I will also take room cleaning to the pros. Our boy cleaned every day, took out the garbage, changed towels. At the request, I changed the bed linen. When we first stopped by, the bed smelled like rotten socks of some kind. But this issue was quickly resolved. I'm giving you a plus sign.
The hotel's beach is rather a minus. Sand with a small shell. Plus corals. On the one hand, entering the water on concrete (dead coral), on the other hand, descending to the water on concrete (again, dead coral). But then the sand. We hung out mostly there. Shallow water. The reef is almost dead, but the fish live. There is someone to look at. A lionfish lives under the pantone. It comes out mostly in the evenings, but it has been seen a couple of times during the day. There is also a puffer fish (blowfish) hanging out nearby. So be careful and watch your step in the water.
In general, it's worth going to a nearby hotel for beauty. Not jaz (he's on the left), but on the right. 15 minutes on foot. Go without things, only with a mask and flippers, and then there is a high probability that you will be missed. There is an incredibly beautiful reef there. You can hang out and get lost for a few hours.
I will also attribute animation to the advantages. We didn't participate, but she was. And dancing and contests are all sorts of different things. The guys are really trying. Well done.
The on-site water park is also a plus. But the work schedule is very short. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. And from three o'clock in the afternoon to five in the evening 🤷🏼♀️
And one more plus. Three days before our departure, the receptionist (or non-receptionist) Aya returned to the hotel from vacation. As it turned out, the girl was quite Russian, listened to us, after which they stopped kicking us out of the restaurant after lunch and even offered to take the plate to the room (they say, feed the child there calmly). I wish I could do that right away, by God. Perhaps with her, most of our situations could have been avoided, if not avoided, then at least smoothed out. But it turned out how it turned out. Everyone passing by tries to beg you for money. Give me money with my hand on the elevator, give me money on the escalator. It's absurdly simple: a person sits in the toilet and submits a paper and demands money for it🤦🏼♀️
Boarding from the sterile area is another inspection. They've enlightened you twice from beginning to end and are looking for something again. Either idiots, or they want money. Two flights were driven into the departure area for an hour. Neither turn around nor turn around, neither sigh nor fart. There is no toilet, there is nothing to breathe, you cannot go out. Fuck you like it. Or better yet, give me some money. One bus without air conditioning transports passengers to the plane. It's been a long time. And it's very hard.
In summary, I will say that we tourists are not very picky and we do not need much for a good rest. But an elementary human attitude, or rather the lack of one, just killed all the good things. We flew to Cuba. The poorest country is under huge pressure and sanctions. We had an average non-super luxury hotel, but at the same time Cuba has remained forever in our heart, in our memory and is better than Egypt by absolutely all criteria. So Egypt is closed to us for the next few years.
The beauty of the red sea conquers the imagination and we will definitely come back. But only once, to show this wonderful world to our grown-up daughter. And only by Aeroflot.

Compromise 4, when there is not enough money for a better hotel
We rested with my husband and child (4 years old) for 13 nights in August 2024. We chose the hotel in advance based on ratings and reviews (well, within our budget), booked it in advance 4 months in advance through Fun&Sun.
The flight was by Egyptian airlines and was postponed 4 times (each time for an hour and a half) -as a result, instead of arriving at the hotel by 12:00, we arrived by 18:00 (back in about the same way - we postponed the flight 2 times).
1. The road.
We drove from the airport for 40 minutes, in my opinion, we managed to stop at 2 hotels and then it was "ours".
2. Accommodation.
The accommodation was a nightmare - we were immediately given a small room, isolated, WITHOUT a balcony, with a small bed (and this is one bed for three of us), WITHOUT a table and armchairs - I did not see such a room in the description of the hotel at all (neither at Fun&Sun, nor at TEZ TOUR), BUT I read a lot of reviews that people also tried to give such rooms, so we immediately said that we wanted a change room - the receptionist at the reception began to assure me that my reserved Standard room is exactly that! And that the photos of the "normal room" that I show him are an improved room and if my travel agent misled me, then it's not his (the administrator's) fault - I still stood my ground and asked for another one, at some point he got tired of arguing and he gave me the keys to another free one rooms (I didn't even ask for money from above) - I went to see it and here it is!
Finally, a normal large room with a balcony, just like in the photo, with a bigger bed, with a table and chairs - we checked in and were happy for exactly half a day.. It turned out that, firstly, there is no hot water in it at all (we tried to complain about the water - after that the water was "warm" for about an hour, but the next morning it turned cold again), and secondly, the windows of this room overlook the STAGE, where 7 days a week the concert program is entertaining from 21:00 to 22:30 and you can hear the music there with such force that the windows shake and you can hear every word of the presenter, and we have a child who is used to going to bed at 21:00 already.. We went again to ask for another room - at least just the same, but on the other side of the building (this room was in the main building, where the reception is), they began to rub in that we could improve the room for $ 20 a DAY! and nothing else.. But, fortunately, that day there was already a meeting with our hotel guide Carlos (the host was ODEON) and we complained to him about loud music and that the child could not sleep, he helped us a lot - talked for 3 minutes with the receptionist at the reception and after a couple of hours we were moved to a normal building closer to the sea and even we had a view from the balcony to the sea and we were not asked for any additional payment for this (and even there was hot water in this room!).
3. The territory.
It's not very big and nothing is clear. It was written correctly in some reviews – what is difficult to make a printout with a MAP? (for example, they have been doing this even in Cuba for the last 20 years) After all, it's not a fig clear when you enter, where to get towels, and where is which restaurant, and where you can eat French fries in the afternoon, etc. During our stay, a couple of times we were asked by visitors "where did you get the towels?". According to the opening time, everything is also strange – some bars were stopped serving 5-10 minutes before the designated time and even water was no longer given, and the opening time is also not indicated anywhere in these bars (only in the printout that you will be given on the first day),
4. The room.
Well, I don't even want to evaluate the first 2 rooms - lack of hot water, loud music, noisy air conditioning... If we talk about our 3rd number, then I will immediately indicate the advantages: spacious, balcony with a good view, there were never ants / cockroaches / mosquitoes, neighbors were not heard at all (except if the furniture was sometimes moved from above), the air conditioner was already tolerable noise (compared to the previous room).
Well, now, to the cons: the furniture is old, the bed is very hard (my husband did not really sleep for 14 days because of this - he constantly woke up), one blanket for 3 people and all together we barely fit under it, the toilet door creaked VERY much (literally, if someone-one of us went to the toilet at night - it was impossible not to wake everyone up with this squeak), the lock on the balcony did not actually work, the toilet tank sometimes leaked, the air conditioner poured huge puddles on the floor at night somewhere on the 10th day of our stay (but we told this at the reception in the morning and we promptly everything was fixed), 5 times during our 13 nights the electricity was turned off in our building - in general, literally for 3-4 minutes, BUT when there is no electricity, there is no hot water.. so it was not particularly pleasant to be in the shower at that moment and stand in the dark waiting for light and water.
And now about the CLEANING of the rooms, the so-called - bed linen has not been changed for us ONCE in 13 nights - once (day on the 5th) the sheet was turned 180 degrees and that's it - every day the housekeeper came only to wash the floor, change towels and make the bed. We left $2 every 2-3 days, BUT for some reason he made us "figurines" of animals only a few times in our first week of arrival, although we continued to leave tips - we did not see more "figurines".
5. Nutrition.
I must say right away that all the reviews here are that the food is boring, the choice is small, there is no fruit (every day there was melon and dates or grapes - everything, and watermelon / bananas - a couple of times a week, forget about any mangoes at all), the dishes are often not completely clean - everything is true. And it's also true that for 3-4 days from local food you will go to the toilet more often (this effect will end the next day upon arrival home). BUT it is worth noting that in many ways it is really delicious - well, for our taste, the chicken was not bad, carrot and onion rice are very tasty, and the sweet table - well, the truth is 90% was always excellent, these little pies are often beautiful in Egypt, but not particularly edible, but here - "when it's delicious, then it's delicious" and you can't argue.
CHILDREN'S food - forget it, there is no such food here.. There is a picture and an inscription, like, a children's and 2 "cauldrons" - usually mashed potatoes and sausages in them - every day is straight, that's all the "children's food". Our daughter loved to eat pancakes with honey in the morning, rice/potatoes/pasta in the afternoon, and the same side dish and chicken or fish in the evening.
QUEUES for food that is prepared "in front of you" - fried eggs / pancakes and so on - the truth is, for some reason, in the first week of our arrival, my husband stood for pancakes for the child for 5 minutes, but in the second week of the sutra there were always a lot of "locals" in this queue and it really happened here for 15 I followed them for a few minutes.
6. The beach.
It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach or take a minibus, we always walked - we need to cross the road to it every time (but it's not busy, sometimes we didn't see any cars at all). The beach is clean, they try to clean up quickly and keep an eye on everything, BUT there are really few places - if you come to the beach around 10:30, you will almost certainly not see any free sunbeds (come then or after 11:00 - when someone leaves, or make it to 10:00) - there were 3 times that we dropped things just at the bar, because everything is busy.
You can enter the water without coral slippers, there are a couple of pebbles in places, but for me it was not a problem to get around them, ALTHOUGH about half of the vacationers preferred to wear sneakers (after all, the sand is still very hot sutra, and "slippers" protect from hot sand).
The reef is really dead and there are few fish, BUT if you are going to such a place for the first time and have never "snorkeled" before, you will be surprised by such a small selection of fish, and if you are a seasoned traveler, you will be a little disappointed. The neighboring hotels have reefs a little more interesting - try to swim with them (it happens that you can't go through the sand to the next 5-ku - the guard slows down - just swim around their pantone and swim on)
7. wi-fi.
Constantly the Internet "fell off" and it is almost impossible to watch videos (via YouTube), telegram channels seem to load, but almost always does not load photos and videos in news channels, the site also opens somehow - in short, it works with a creak.
8. Animation.
The animation guys are trying very hard - every day I saw yoga on the beach, there was also some Pilates, energetic aqua aerobics in the evenings in the pool by the beach, everyone seemed to like the evening shows too (we didn't go much, usually went to bed with the child), there is a foam party once a week and a flyboard show once a week for a week, activities / contests take place on the beaches / some dancers came once a week in, like, traditional costumes - in short, there were always a lot of people involved in their activities. We didn't really go anywhere ourselves - 3 times during the whole time I went to ask the Russian animator girl what time the flyboard show would be and other similar trifles - she was always happy to help.
In some reviews, I met that "animators take phones from vacationers and go to put 5 stars on tophotels" - well xs.. our phone was not snatched away and in 2 weeks I have never seen such a thing.
9. Shops.
It is very expensive and they charge extra for everything. When leaving the hotel, you need to go left and in 5 minutes you will see a supermarket and an Aladdin souvenir shop – everything is 30-40% cheaper there. Like an idiot, we bought a mask with a tube and a towel at the hotel, so the mask was $ 15 (in Aladdin it was $ 10), and a towel was $ 15 (and Aladdin could buy 2 towels of the same size for $ 15).
10. Other things.
Many more wrote about the shamelessness of the "locals" and their children in the restaurant, and it's all true too.. Arabs come in large families (3-5 children each), their children run / play with chairs, yell, climb out of turn, play with doors and dishes and no one looks after them – you just have to get used to this during your stay.
DO I RECOMMEND the hotel? And what would your impression be after my detailed review? I want to note that at least we didn't get poisoned in 2 weeks (although we brushed our teeth with used ordinary tap water and took alcoholic cocktails with ice – we didn't have anything, as some people scare us here).
In general, decide for yourself – if you go for 5-7 days, then maybe you won't even notice half of the "nuances" and the rest will be OK, but if you rest for 10-14 days, try to choose a better hotel if you have finances. This is a compromise dilapidated 4-ka, like many 4-ka in Egypt.

I am sharing with you my impressions of the visit to the IVY CYRENE ISLAND hotel.
At first, we got used to it, there were no extremely negative emotions about the service.
And let's take it in order:
1. Room cleaning: at first there was one employee, made figures out of towels, gave everything we asked for, from day 5 the staff changed, they stopped cleaning, shampoo and soap did not change, towels do not change, they just fold on a shelf. The bed linen has never been changed for all 12 nights. They asked for coffee, water, sugar, cups, toilet paper every day.
2. We flew from the Coral Travel tour operator: the guide forgot about our existence at all, did not respond to messages, replied 3 days later and then reluctantly.
3. Animation: of course there is animation and there are children's events and evening entertainment shows, but I personally have a question why there are so many animators of 6-8 people if interaction with guests is carried out mainly by 2-3 animators. The rest pass by, do not greet, make an appearance of active interaction only in the crowd.
4. Fruit Festival: on one of the days of rest, the animator announced that an Italian restaurant would host a fruit festival. We came and took our seats, then when the crowd came running, we got up and stood in this crowd waiting for the start of the festival. There were 6 animators in front of us, 1 of whom was entertaining the people. Then, as if on command, everyone started running to the fruit table, there was no organized queue, they kicked all their legs, and the fruits turned out to be quite ordinary, everything that is given in the dining room.
5. Nutrition: the food is poor, but in general it is all over the Charm. Disposable cups are just terrible.
Absolutely everything is poured into them, wine, beer, cocktails, everything is fine in the pool and on the beach for the safety of vacationers. But they bring a limited amount of glass in the dining room, it's just impossible to run five times per meal to drink water, cola, wine or a cocktail.
6. Reception: a double opinion. There is one Russian-speaking girl, very pleasant, helps to solve almost any problem, this one is for her. She is very sociable, during breakfast, lunch and dinner she bypasses Russian-speaking vacationers, asks, helps, tells everything necessary.
Today is our last day, check-out is at 12, the transfer will pick up at 20:40. There is no way to extend the room, all rooms are occupied, although a couple of days ago tourists extended it for 6 hours without problems.
In general, we will just eat and lie in the lobby for 9 hours.
7. Staff on the beach: every day, the staff of excursions, massage parlors and beauty salons come up, they are so annoying, prices bend for non-point treatments and excursions.
8. Free restaurants: according to the rules, you can only go to one, but the girl I wrote about above wrote in two of the three: Chinese and oriental.
I liked Chinese very much, although there was only soy sauce and rice from Chinese. Oriental is almost the same as Chinese, but it's not so tasty anymore.
In general, the idea is good, but the main part of the dishes is the same as in the dining room.
In general, if you go for impressions of the climate, nature, get vitamin D and go for a burnt and rested, then this is a pretty good place.
The sea is 5 minutes away, there are enough sun beds. A pontoon, which is very convenient.
In general, we are happy with our little trip, but the service leaves much to be desired.

On the third day, there is no hot water in the room, considering that we paid extra for the comfort room at the reception. The food moves from breakfast to lunch, then to dinner. But this is normal for Egypt, they cook worse than the Turks. There is only a pharmacy outside the territory. The sea is good, but in winter it is cold and windy. There are no heated pools. The service is unobtrusive. We are unpretentious tourists, but we would like to return home as soon as possible. A maximum of 2 * and that's a stretch. I had a vacation here in September 2023. Overall, I was satisfied. Although I don't consider myself picky about living conditions. He lived in the farthest building. It's quiet at night. Scrambled eggs every morning, if you like undercooked protein snot, please join the queue. For lunch and dinner - pasta, overcooked pasta, but not the most tasteless. It's better not to touch salads if you don't want to spend your vacation on the toilet. On day 3, she was poisoned with all the cute symptoms including a temperature of 38.7. For the second part of the vacation, she ate like in a hospital - only mashed potatoes and rice. They made these dishes very tasty. I risked taking sausages with a cloud of spices (which was already suspicious), sniffed, rancid, smelled sour. We got to know more people - we found out that three more people were poisoned with us... The locals (doctors and taxi drivers) look at us with regret when we tell them which hotel we are staying at. Take care of yourself, choose another hotel.
There is one cook, offers all the girls to take a photo with him and paws, you need to put it in place, otherwise, apparently, all Russian girls are sh**** for him. It's scary to walk past him

The food is monotonous but you won't be hungry..

On June 18, we decided to sign up for dinner at a Chinese restaurant, at the reception we were told after tomorrow, i.e. on the 20th, there were 3 of us, we couldn't mix everything up, we come everything is closed, it turns out it works Friday, Saturday Sunday, you are booked on June 22! I.e. the date was postponed, but we don't need to say. Well, I didn't really want to! In the evening, every day of the program. We took a taxi to the old town for $ 18 for 5 people, there and back. Outside the hotel, to the left there is a shop and a small expensive pharmacy and to the right there is a slightly larger store and a large pharmacy, but it is better to buy medicines in the old town, much cheaper.The territory of the hotel is very beautiful, green, we went to the neighboring Charm, we thought we would hang out there too, we did not like it. In general, I liked the rest, especially the sailor.

We flew abroad for the first time and chose this hotel. The area is very beautiful, especially in the evening, when all the lights turn on and sunset comes.

We had a rest at this hotel .

There are a lot of locals resting in it, this is especially felt on Thursday and Friday (it is problematic with boarding for lunch and dinner). The disadvantages would be always running out of beer (both on the beach and at bars by the pools). The air conditioning in the lobby and at the reception is constantly turned off. The territory is clean, 10 minutes walk to the sea, there were a lot of them, they are new.

Poor nutrition. There are too many guests from Arab countries, poor animation. Near the Charm Hotel, he is 18+ you can not go to his restaurants. I gave the hotel a high rating, but before praising it, I will write how we checked in.
We arrived at 2 a.m., the guide promised us dinner in the room, but there was no dinner. Instead of our reception, we were brought to the reception of a nearby hotel – sharma – informing us that the category of our stay had been upgraded from four stars to five. The guide, smiling, informed us that we were very lucky. I immediately suspected something was wrong.
We were hung up with bracelets and taken to the far building behind the parking lot, where the rooms are either in repair or in post-repair condition. The bathroom in our room was unfinished. There were no shelves in the closet, and there was a dusty layer of plaster on the bedside tables. The room did not have a declared balcony. We returned to the reception, where we were informed that our room was occupied and we would be given it tomorrow. We were very tired and wanted to sleep. We agreed to switch tomorrow.
The next day we were told that the room was occupied again. I contacted the Sanmar travel agency, where, in principle, they did not help me at all. The following problems began at bars, where they refused to pour us carbonated drinks, not that alcohol, but even just soda – telling us that we had not paid enough. Although "all inclusive" was indicated in our vouchers.
We fought for four days and on the fourth day, without any additional charges, we were checked into the room that was posted on the website of the Sanmar travel agency. We sorted out the drinks on the second day and they poured everything for us, even alcohol.
If it weren't for this spoiled start, then our vacation experiences would be generally perfect. The hotel has six swimming pools, all clean, several water slides, bars with soft drinks and very friendly bartenders and staff, good animation, foam parties, volleyball and games. In the evening we watched a Show of magicians, snake charmers, a white party and more. There is an Ala Carte restaurant on site. The territory is beautifully maintained. The water in the sea is clean and transparent. You lie down on the water with a mask and see a lot of wonderful beautiful fish. The food in the canteens is quite varied and delicious. We rested for 10 days, we were given dates, oranges, melons, watermelons, we heard on the bus that other hotels did not have this. The cakes are mostly sponge cakes.
Some vacationers have heard that if you immediately put $ 20 in your passport at the entrance, you will be settled without problems in the room of the necessary categories. Overall, the hotel is very good, but get ready to either butt heads with the administrators or pay them a bribe. And we were upset and didn't tip anyone, only when we left we left one dollar for our kind room cleaner. By the way, the beach is very fast and carries a small bus. Sorry for the mistakes, I was typing using the voice assistant.

The hotel is disgusting. Everything is tired, ancient and dirty. Tulle in the rooms seems to have never been washed. But THE BIGGEST DISADVANTAGE OF THE HOTEL * IS THE FOOD*, or rather its absence!!!! I went out hungry for breakfast every day, there was zero choice. Scrambled eggs, which I waited for 40 minutes exactly (I timed it) and that's it, there's nothing else to choose, no pancakes, jam, NOTHING. in Charm, at least they bake pancakes ...
They settled in a building for staff, were allowed to relocate, so they demanded $ 20 per night.
The food is monotonous, not tasty, there are no snacks
On the second day I got rotavirus, and the rest deteriorated even more
Animators wind up good reviews, ask for the phone and give good ratings
Guide Ahmed is still a beast, did not help with relocation, did not solve issues, just sooo angry that they did not buy excursions from him
I absolutely do not recommend the hotel!!!!
