We visited on foot without excursions. It is very interesting how you find yourself there after the high-rise buildings and wide streets, walking along narrow paths and doorways. I can't say that I saw anything amazing. I think such historical quarters can be found in many cities and countries.
An interesting but very ambiguous place. Something akin to havels or Indian slums. Narrow streets with joyful children running around playing football, friendly adults ready to show the way. But the thought comes that you are invading someone else's space, everything is so cramped and right here.
