Good location, close to the center, you can walk to the ferries, the Suleymaniye Mosque. On the 10th floor there is a restaurant with a beautiful panorama, it's nice to have breakfast. The rooms have comfortable beds, clean linen. Each room has water, tea, coffee. There are hygiene products. Good information staff, cleaners are always friendly and ready to help. What was missing: the rooms are small, there are no cereals for breakfast, and in general, do not expect frills, everything is simple.
The staff was helpful, one girl spoke Russian, helped with the choice of places to visit. Clear. You can buy excursions at the reception. A rooftop restaurant with panoramic views. There is quite a large selection at breakfast. On this shore of the Golden Horn, perhaps the best hotel (at least externally). Near the metro station (5 min). Of the disadvantages, only the adjacent streets are not the cleanest, but this no longer applies to the hotel.
On New Year's Eve, the prices were very low-budget, but there were more pros than cons. Beautiful view of the Bosphorus, with a pedestrian promenade and a restaurant under the windows. On New Year's Eve, music played in the restaurant until just one o'clock, the rest of the time it was very quiet. It was cold in the room and the air conditioner was not working for heating, we called the reception, the technician came quickly (December 31 at about 21:00, please note), brought the heater and fixed the air conditioner. It was still a little uncomfortable in the room, because the air conditioner burned oxygen quickly, and the ventilation cooled the room. But for their part, the administrators did their best, thanks to them for that. New high-quality renovation, there are breakfasts, but we did not go there. Convenient location for calling a taxi.
Pros-excellent location with access to the embankment, to the Halich bridge and the metro, and Galatsky, a view restaurant on the 10th floor, where you can enjoy the views every morning for breakfast, good breakfasts, comfortable mattresses and the availability of all necessary household trifles such as gels, shampoo, slippers. Cons (relatively, of course) - the lack of bathrobes, on the lower floors a view from the window to neighboring buildings, and the absence of good coffee (. But the pluses atone for all the small minuses. Next time I'll take a higher room to enjoy the views of the Bosphorus)
The Golfen city Hotel is located right on the shores of the Bosphorus. The views from the hotel are amazing. The hotel's restaurant is located on the 10th floor, and you can take beautiful photos.
Very good location, especially for those who are in Istanbul for the first time. There is a panoramic restaurant with a terrace on the roof of the hotel. View of the Bosphorus, Golden Horn, Topkapi, Galata Tower, Sultanahmet district, Suleymania, Uskyudar district, Galata Bridge. In general, who does not know where and how to go, go to the terrace and choose a direction. The rooms are small, and so are the corridors. The Turkish hotel service has become Europeanized, it is difficult to understand whether you are in Istanbul or Helsinki. I liked the hotel staff, they are not very intrusive, but they will always help if anything happens, especially the girl (unfortunately I do not know her name), downloaded the application herself, called herself, controlled the arrival herself and asked the taxi driver to turn on the meter, it is more profitable. Thank her very much. The breakfast is good (buffet), lots of pastries and sweets. The hotel stands on one side of the embankment and the Golden Horn Bay, the other including the entrance to the street. Rabochaya Street, construction shops, tool shops, etc. are open on weekdays. There is a bus stop next to the hotel and 300 meters from the metro (metro bridge). Very convenient. It is comfortable to walk to all the main attractions from the hotel. There is a feeling of complete safety and comfort on the streets and in the hotel. Surprisingly, Istanbul turned out to be a very European city, as well as the hotel. I recommend it!
The hotel is average, but the terrace on the 10th floor with a view of the Golden Horn compensates for all the shortcomings of the hotel. Convenient location. You can walk or take a tram across the Galata Bridge to the other side to the Grand Bazaar. Or up to the Galata Tower, Istiklal and Taksim.
Horror.
To sleep. Rest. It's not there. The location is fascinating. Excellent. The largest room is made of plywood. The audibility with the whole outside world is great. Port. Metro. People are just sneezing on the STREET. You can hear everyone. A very good administrator. The service as a whole is not bad. After their breakfasts, you have to go to breakfast.
It's a lovely place. Especially the breakfast on the roof :). Clean, cozy. Great location. Close to tourist spots. Well, the color of course, it's something! In this place, you realize that Istanbul is a city of contrasts! :)
Overall, a good hotel, although I did not like it at first glance. The rooms are small but nice. The conder works well. Breakfast is on the 10th floor with a great view of the Golden Horn Bay. Many rooms have the same view.
Stunning view from the restaurant on the 10th floor. In the restaurant itself, the breakfasts are tasteless, the dinners too. The rooms are small, but everything you need is there. I recommend the hotel because of the view from the restaurant and convenient transport accessibility.
The hotel is good, the rooms are really not big, but cozy. But what a view opens from the restaurant located on the 10th floor, the whole of Istanbul is in the palm of your hand. You can not climb the Gala Tower. It's just great! The breakfasts are wonderful 👍
From A Good One. The view, the embankment, the accessibility of the tram and everything. There is a restaurant on the top. Breakfasts are also ok. with a View. One of the disadvantages is the noise from the embankment)) But it is possible to do so in busy places
The rooms are small, there is no sound insulation, you can hear the road, the restaurant looks beautiful, the food is not tasty and monotonous. The location is not bad in principle, 5 min.to the metro and tram. But there is no infrastructure nearby, the dirtiest area, there are only building materials shops around.
Nice hotel. Minus, audibility, but this is compensated by cleanliness and location. The descent from Taksim is 15 minutes! The center is 10 minutes away. If the room is above the 6th floor, then the view of the embankment will be gorgeous.. The breakfast is standard, as in all of Turkey, but not everyone has breakfast with this view.
The location is very convenient
There is a good fish restaurant behind the hotel but expensive
There is a restaurant on the roof, except for the views, I recommend refraining from buying food
Good location, 24-hour reception, Russian-speaking staff, clean and tidy. A bit boring breakfast... but, on the other hand, the view from the restaurant is excellent)) The next building is a nice restaurant with a view of the bay.
Great location. Almost on the very shore of the Golden Horn. If you want a beautiful view, you need to book a room from the 6th floor. There is a second hotel building directly opposite. Excellent transport accessibility. If desired, you can walk everywhere. Rooftop restaurant - one love ❤
The location is very convenient, the reception is friendly, the rooms are cleaned regularly. The only thing is, the standard room is very small. The breakfast is varied, but it's the same every day.
Don't mess up the hotel. It is better not to order a transfer, but to call a taxi (much cheaper)
The rooms are great. The restaurant is upstairs with a beautiful view.
They lived on August 21, 2023. This is actually 3 stars. Rooms need to be taken on floors 7 and above. They are called sea view. The breakfasts are not bad. The location is good. The view from the room is 7th floor enclosed
Not a big hotel with nice clean rooms , there are rooms with stunning views of the Golden Horn , an excellent panoramic restaurant , good breakfasts , excellent service , correct maids. There is a metro , tram , bus , ferry stop nearby , you can go anywhere . There are good restaurants and cafes nearby , a couple of good grocery stores and a delicious balik -ekmek on a small street next door ) . An excellent hotel for tourist trips.
