Positive:
+ great location, in the very center, all the sights are within walking distance, near a large shopping center with grocery, pizzeria.
+ good price for an overnight stay.
+good breakfasts (scrambled eggs, porridge or pancakes to choose from)
+ 3 towels per person, which is convenient
+refrigerator in the room
Minuses:
- rudeness was encountered at the reception (for the first time in all my travels; usually the hotel staff are polite and friendly). We needed a certificate of accommodation, Anna, an employee at the reception (July 2), reacted extremely strangely to the request: she began to say in a raised voice that she was seeing us for the first time, "you are people from the street in general," she would not give us any help and they did not do them at all, etc. We were a little taken aback, as we absolutely did not expect such a reaction to a simple request. After a couple of minutes, they came for a book of complaints, but she did not want to give it, provided it only at the moment when they said that we would write to the administration by mail in this case. But even when she gave the book, she did not give us a pen, saying that she did not owe us anything at all ... they found a pen at home, left a complaint on page 175, we hope that the management will respond. By the way, the employee Alla issued a certificate in 2 minutes in the evening of the same day without unnecessary questions.
-the room is cleaned for 3. There was hair on the towel, garbage on the carpet. But overall it was clean, the bathroom was cleaned.
- there are no towel hooks in the bathroom -
there is a kettle in the room, but there are no mugs, only glasses, in which boiling water, of course, is not poured.
We traveled. I liked the location, because almost all the places we were interested in were within walking distance. There is paid and free parking. We lived for three days in a two-room room. The breakfasts are good, the staff seems adequate. The first impression was that everything was OK. The view from the window is great, especially at sunrise. Questions arose after check-in. A part of the cutlery was missing, the furniture was painted with some kind of black paint (or dirty, xs) to which the dishes stick, no one took the garbage out of the bucket for three days, the rooms were not cleaned, although water and soap with shampoo were added, garbage and a crumpled disposable glass were found under the table (they cleaned themselves), a handle was broken off on one of the windows, water was draining badly in the shower and in the sink and somehow fell through the internal cavities to the floor. The height of the absurdity was the way to install the toilet, at least they turned it, but no - they put it in such a way that it would not be possible to sit on it normally in principle. It is difficult to describe, I attached a photo. In one of the cupboards, I put my backpack on the top shelf... When I took it out, I regretted it, because I smeared it in the dust specifically. The TV is big, but not used. WiFi is passable. The kettle and refrigerator are serviceable. I took two stars for the bathroom and the dirt in the room. It was the seventh floor. Maybe in other rooms it's different, xs.
A hotel with a Soviet background and a good location in the city center. The embankment and Sovetskaya Street are within walking distance. The room is renovated, pleasantly surprised, everything is neat, clean and in working condition. For that price, it's great for an overnight stay. We took breakfast, not a buffet, but delicious, as in childhood.
Among the disadvantages, I can note the poor noise insulation of the door and the lack of music channels.
Excellent location - the very center of the city, beautiful lobby, good breakfast, no buffet.
For us, there was one minus - the room in which we were settled: the furniture seems to have been there since the foundation: beds with torn mattresses, sockets torn out with meat, the room is dusty, there is no air conditioner, it is very stuffy, there is long-term dust on the fan. It is unpleasant to be in the bathroom.
The hotel was a transit point, of course, we spent one night in it. The fact that we traveled as a group and did not choose a hotel ourselves overshadowed our arrival at the hotel, everyone was settled in rooms with the same price, but it turns out that not everyone had such a terrible room, there were also decent rooms with renovated and new furniture.
I don't know which rooms in this hotel are good, but definitely not room 313.
It was the 5th guest house in Belarus, which I visit, there was no such thing anywhere. Every hotel is clean, new furniture, renovation.
The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, a 5-minute walk from Sovetskaya Street, where there are many cafes and restaurants, shops, banks. On the same street there is a street of lanterns, which are lit by a lamplighter (a local show). Brest Fortress is 30 minutes away, and a beautiful embankment and a park where you can walk and ride a boat are 10 minutes away.
The boat, rides tourists without life jackets, makes sharp turns on the water.
The hotel has different room categories,
We booked a Twin B room for 78byn, the photo of the room does not correspond to reality. It turned out we were given a cat number. Twin C, I only noticed it now when I compared the photos.
A room with old furniture, beds with a sunken mattress, clean linen. The windows are dirty and broken, it was not possible to put them in ventilation mode, because the mount did not hold.
The hotel is located in the very center of the city, a street with a lantern and a lamplighter is 5 minutes away. Very hearty breakfasts (3 options to choose from). You can also win there for 10 rubles. Delicious!
Yes, the furniture in the room is old (standard room), but it is clean, comfortable and has everything you need.
In short, a great option for the money.
It takes 7-9 minutes by taxi from the railway station (about 6 rubles) or 2 stops by public transport.
The hotel is very well located. Nearby is Sovetskaya pedestrian street, where there are many cafes, restaurants, shops. You can walk to the Brest Fortress in 15-20 minutes. A good breakfast of your choice, and until 16.00 they offer a business lunch for only 10 Belarusian rubles, very tasty. The room was taken as a double suite, clean and cozy. I recommend.
The Intourist Hotel in Brest left the most pleasant impressions. Polite and helpful staff, clean and quiet room. Despite the proximity of the nightclub, there were no inconveniences in this regard. In addition, the convenient location: many of the city's attractions, including the Orthodox church, are within walking distance. I will certainly recommend this hotel for my friends to stay in. And the next time we visit Brest, we plan to stay here. Thank you for your hospitality.
A great hotel for a reasonable fee. We lived in a two-room room: tasteful design, snow-white linen, a slide with dishes, a spacious bathroom, a clean carpet on the floor. In addition, this hotel has a tourist information center on the second floor, which is very convenient for booking excursions. In addition, there is a lobby bar in the hotel. For just 11 rubles, you can have breakfast, and it is delicious and satisfying, and have lunch: from 12 to 16 - lunch for 10! Friends, if I had been asked, I would have put a very firm "5". Thanks to the staff!
We were with the family. Like it. A clean large two-room room. The staff is polite. In downtown. There is an embankment and a shopping center nearby. There are also attractions nearby. Parking is available near the hotel for free. There is also a paid guarded one for a small price. A pleasant impression. I recommend. It is close to the Brest fortress.
I had a great time, I have everything I need, if I go to Brest, I will stay there again. Of the advantages - the center, attractions within walking distance
- the price is one of the most adequate in the area
- service, all issues are resolved even faster than instantly.
- The rooms are clean, the renovation is fresh
In general, it's not bad
Friendly staff, the room is very clean, air conditioning, everything you need is within walking distance, we lived a little less than two days, there is a cooler with water in the corridor, well, I liked everything, the price is affordable, a kettle in the room, although we never used it), a mini fridge
The hair dryer was also in the room, well, all the nuances were thought out, thanks to the staff
By the way, I also liked the breakfasts
We didn't take a picture of the room, just the view from the window)
One of the advantages is the courteous staff, fast service. Of the cons, We were in 3 different rooms. The best one turned out to be a three-seater. The beds are soft, the bed is snow-white. The 2-bed room had air conditioning, which pleased me. But the plumbing upset me. The shower was broken, it was not possible to wash. There was also no toilet paper. There was an old TV in the single room, which we could not turn on because the remote control did not work. The bathroom is just awful. The bathtub is dirty, with a greasy coating, the toilet is rusty.
A good hotel at an affordable price. We lived as a family twice. The main advantage is the ideal location for walking around all the main attractions and pedestrian areas of Brest. It is as convenient and close as possible to get to the Brest Fortress and the railway museum
Great hotel. Comfortable spacious rooms, cleanliness, there is everything necessary for residents. Even the balcony is for smokers! Polite staff. Very convenient location, near a supermarket, a cafe, a pizzeria, a large shopping center, open until 23 o'clock.
The room is big enough. The lock in the door was a little stuck, the bathroom was compact, but there was everything you needed, including soap, shampoo and shower gel. Towels are in sufficient volume and clean. There is a hairdryer in the room, a refrigerator (turned on and working well), a TV, air conditioning and a kettle. The room is clean. The view from the room is excellent, the city is at a glance. The service is average, rather Soviet-style. The staff is friendly. Breakfasts and lunches are inexpensive (about $ 3), but meager. The hotel is located in the very center of Brest, which is very convenient.
A wonderful hotel in the ratio of price and quality. We arrived at the hotel at 23.00, we were greeted by a very friendly manager- a girl who invited us to a room with a view of the temple for 100 rubles (this is about 2800 Russian rubles). The room is clean, there are towels, shampoo, gel, refrigerator, kettle. Economical, but good. Breakfast was paid separately for 11 rubles, there are three options to choose from, very tasty. We took the option where there were scrambled eggs, bacon, salad, glazed cheese, natural coffee with milk, bread. At our request, rice porridge was cooked separately, which is really nice. They did not refuse. Thank you for such a welcome and I do not understand the angry reviews regarding this hotel. The cost of the room is only 100 rubles, but in fact you get even more.
The room is clean, the bed linen is nice and clean, the mattresses are excellent. The bathroom is large (accessories included.) I booked a 2-room room on the 8th floor. Great view. The very center of Brest, all the sights are at hand.
An excellent hotel .The rooms are clean. To be in accessible proximity to the center, the museum and the Brest fortress, friendly staff .Parking is nearby. There is an embankment nearby .Everything is simple.awesome
We stayed from June 30th to July 2nd. We took 3 economy class rooms. Like it. The decor is modest, but everything you need for a comfortable stay is there. Delicious breakfasts. The hotel is located in close proximity to the main attractions. Great friendly staff! We had a great rest! Recommend.
A great option for a budget overnight stay, modest but clean. Everything you need is in the room. A good and prompt breakfast. Only fans of smoking in the room would still be accommodated on a separate floor, in general, it would be super.
There are no disadvantages. Some advantages. The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly. We were fed a delicious breakfast. Walking distance to the sights and the old town. The embankment is nearby, parks. 10 out of 10.
A normal hotel. No frills. Clean, friendly, cozy. He lived in 708. The room has air conditioning. The bed is large and comfortable. The shower cabin, the water is hot immediately, the pressure is good.
Hello everyone!! The hotel surprised me. There are only photos on the site (it looks gloomy and sad) in fact, everything is sooooo decent. The price tag is adequate. The location is super. All the interesting locations are just around the corner. The rooms are newly renovated. The linen is decent. The mattress is comfortable. The pillows are comfortable. Air conditioning (although the website says only a fan) the staff is friendly. There is a new trend in furniture, it's right on the edge of the budget and room cleaning (forgot to take the trash out of the bucket). But I think they will improve. And everything will be great👍
A wonderful hotel. The room was on the 10th floor, the windows faced the church. The view from the window in the hallway is just gorgeous) The room is super, everything is clean, cozy, even there was a refrigerator) I really liked it.
The hotel is decent for its money, convenient location, the opportunity to have breakfast from three complexes, there is Parking, we had a room after renovation. We were satisfied with everything for a very affordable price, then we traveled around Belarus and the hotels were worse and the prices were higher.
An excellent hotel in the city center, near a pedestrian street, a shopping center and a grocery store.
There are rooms for every budget.
Paid guarded Parking.
Friendly staff.
This is a wonderful hotel both in terms of location and quality of rooms. From the window there was a view of the monument to the defenders of the Brest fortress. Many shops and food outlets are located nearby, including pedestrian street. The Soviet one, where the lanterns are lit every evening.
A good hotel, the price matches the quality, the room is clean, there is air conditioning, a water cooler in the lobby, polite staff, breakfast was not included, but can be ordered at the restaurant, convenient location of the hotel, near a pedestrian street, you can also walk to the embankment
Excellent location, rooms are not suites, of course, but not as scary as they say, and the cost is very pleasant. Some rooms have air conditioning. I had a fan. The room itself includes a bed, a guest sofa, a work desk, a coffee table, a banquette and even a refrigerator with a TV. The plumbing is in working condition, but with proper cleaning, you can achieve a higher level (remove stains and stains on plumbing). Breakfast is offered in a choice of three options. The staff is courteous, the guards are vigilant. And, remember, no one will be licked here)
Convenient location, just cross the road to the main pedestrian street. There is a street of lanterns and of course the famous lamplighter, all the pubs and bars)) The train museum is 15-20 minutes away on foot along the avenue and through the park, and the Brest fortress is 35 minutes on foot.
We liked the standard room, not big / not small, the plumbing is all working, what you need to relax in the evening and at night on a trip.
It is very conveniently located. The Alley of lanterns is 5 minutes away. The very center. But this makes it noisy, if the windows overlook the street, then it is possible to sleep only when closed, which is not very comfortable when it is hot outside and there is no air conditioner. But there is a large fan. In general, a one-night stand is a very decent option. Plumbing is really old...But the room has been freshly renovated and new furniture
The best hotel on our long journey around the BELARUSIAN WORLD: there is air conditioning, a hairdryer, a TV, clean and cozy not only in the lobby, but also in the rooms, close to the center. I recommend you to visit.
I liked everything. Clean, calm, quiet. Thanks to Brest and the Intourist Hotel for a wonderful comfortable stay. The room (double suite) had everything you needed.
Excellent location: Brest Fortress is 20 minutes on foot, Sovetskaya Street is 5 minutes away, by trolleybus to the railway and bus station is 15 minutes. The friendly receptionist at the reception told me everything in detail. It was August 11-12, 2024. I liked the room.
She lived in a single room on the 8th floor. Great view of Brest. The room is newly renovated, clean bed with a comfortable mattress. The only thing in the bathroom needs repair, but you can use it, it's not critical.
Don't wait for a suite! A clean, well-maintained hotel, where everything works and there is everything you need for a comfortable stay nearby! Breakfast is prepared, the bar (unfortunately) is not round the clock with state prices for alcohol (very cheap), near the club, pizzeria, groceries, Brest prison (if you are on a weekday - go there for an excursion!
You won't find glamorous goons here. This is a plus for me.
The hotel has a large part of the staff of 50 plus, respect for the fact that these wonderful responsive people are employed. The foundation is old, but clean, perfectly clean. I walked barefoot on the floor, not a single speck of dust stuck. They book by letter or by phone and meet you halfway in everything.
Many thanks to the staff and management of the hotel for the excellent service, friendly attitude to people , for the accurate work and for the cleanliness in the rooms. We will definitely stop again .
When I am in Brest, I have to rent a hotel and always try to rent a room in an Intourist if there are places.
I like the location, cleanliness, and for those who have free pocket money, there is a Casino on the ground floor (poker, roulette, slot machines).
I recommend this hotel to everyone..
The hotel is located within walking distance from the Sovetskaya local Nevsky Prospekt, recreation garden and Brest fortress. Very convenient. The hotel staff is hospitable
A great hotel for your money! Cleanliness, the beds are comfortable. There are shampoos and gels, you don't need to take anything with you.Breakfasts for a fee (small) are both delicious and fast. But the coolest thing is the location! Just the center of the city. There is also a pedestrian street with a lamplighter who lights the lights every day.I recommend it!!!
The hotel prices are normal, in general the rooms are acceptable, but for some reason the rooms in the price range differ in quality. The room is warm in winter. The rooms are being renovated. The rooms are clean. The Brest fortress is not far away within walking distance, and you can also walk to the Christmas tree. I had a nice bed in my single room and a nice soft, comfortable armchair. There was no kettle. Horizon TV with a minimum number of channels. I didn't go to the restaurant, but I could take cups and water with tea or coffee to the room. The staff is friendly.
An excellent hotel for its price. I had a single room on the 9th floor. Among the advantages are clean, white bed linen, as well as towels. Comfortable mattress and pillow. Good wifi. There are breakfasts, three options to choose from, the cost is 11 rubles. I have porridge (delicious), eggs, cheese, butter, sausage, loaf, sweet cheese and tea
We lived in a room of category A, the room is clean, freshly renovated, there is a refrigerator. Of the cons - there is no hair dryer, how so!?
Breakfast was also pleased, 3 options are offered, good coffee is served, the reception is my respect, wonderful staff!
We arrived at this hotel with a class, there were no special expectations, but what happened turned out to be a complete disappointment. It is clear that the rooms were inexpensive, but this does not give the right: do not clean, do not replace broken fixtures, faucets, etc.
And now about everything in order, as soon as we checked in, an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom immediately hit our nose, it smelled as if someone had died right there. The bathtub itself is very dirty, as is the toilet, which for some reason is located close to the wall. By the way, someone did die in this room, and it's not even my nerve cells, but a cockroach under the bedside table.
This problem was not only in our room, people constantly complained about dirt, broken lights, lack of fans, which are located in each room by poking (one of the identical rooms could be missing things that are in the second)
I will not even talk about the dust that was everywhere.
I wanted to find the advantages in this hotel and noticed the kettle, but the trouble is - it has mold and it is as dirty as everything here, including the windows.
Bottom line: it is better to overpay and reach interesting objects by yourself than to live in such conditions
We stayed in August for one night on the 10th floor. Clean, bright. There is a water cooler on the floor. The plumbing is not new, but it works properly. The beds didn't creak. Compared to a similar hotel in Minsk, it is two times cheaper. There are cafes, shops nearby, there is a place to walk. The fortress and the museum of railway equipment are not very far away. I boldly recommend it.
I liked everything.
The view from the window is gorgeous.
The furniture in the room is without dull modern plastic.
There is an exhibition of paintings on the floor.
The price is acceptable.
Next time I will consider this hotel again.
I liked the double room on the sixth floor very much. There is a TV, refrigerator, kettle, air conditioning. The repair was done very recently, everything is neat. The ceiling light, you can turn on half or all of the four LED lights. Plus small lamps in the headboards of the beds. Stretch ceiling. The bathroom is standard, shower, toilet, sink, there is a hair dryer. In the hallway there is a locker with four hangers and a bedside table for shoes.
It's a beautiful city. The hotel is not bad.But there are double rooms, well, not very small at all.Bees fly up to the 8th floor, so you can wake up in the morning with unwanted guests. The food on the second floor is not very good. And the location is very convenient.Nearby there is a center and many shops.
