Was there in middle February.
Quite a good place and suitable location (tram station, walking, Cafe, supermarkets).
And yes, view from the roof restoration great!
Room service and reception friendly and helpfully-keep going !
I liked the hotel. I would like to mention the excellent staff - perfect daily cleaning, always smiling and ready to help the reception, the most wonderful and caring waiters in the restaurant. Convenient location - everything is close, the tram stop is also nearby. The windows faced the courtyard, so it was very quiet. Linen, towels - everything is perfect. The consumables were changed on time, and the water was taken daily. The kettle is in the room.
A small disadvantage is that the room is very dark, there is no overhead lighting at all, only side lighting. I'm drawing and it was very inconvenient to turn on the TV without sound, just to add light. Another quirk of hot water is that to get hot water in the shower, you need to turn on the faucet in the sink too - that's the only way there's enough pressure. But you can get used to it. And breakfast was sorely lacking hot oatmeal/pancakes/something else hot. But I consider all these small disadvantages not particularly important against the background of the advantages. So I definitely recommend the hotel! I'm thinking of coming again - with my family and in a bigger room, I was alone.
We liked the hotel, good location, close to the T1 tram stop, which goes past the main attractions, near a minimarket, a lot of cafes. The hotel itself is clean and cozy, there is 1 Russian-speaking receptionist at the reception, but it doesn't work every day, as we understand. Our room was 202 on the 3rd floor, quite large. On the downside, there were few light sources, and it was a little dark in the morning. The faucet was leaking from somewhere, we just put a towel on it. Cleaning every day Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel replenished every day. There was no toothpaste or brush in the room. Body lotion is 2 pieces for 3, but it doesn't matter. It was cool in the room in the evening. The breakfasts are modest, I would like to have more hot porridge, for example. But the view from the restaurant to the Marmara Sea is beautiful. The staff is friendly, the coffee was poured, they asked to make an omelet, they did. In general, I recommend the hotel, we liked everything. 😊
A great hotel with a wonderful view of the Marmara Sea
.
The hotel has an ideal location - 2-3 minutes on foot to tram T1. 10 minutes on foot or one tram stop to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. The sea is also 10 minutes
away.
I think I chose the best room category in this hotel - Marmara Deluxe Sea View with balcony
The room is large in size, with stunning views of the sea and the city. The bathroom is great, I've never had any problems with anything.
We cleaned every day.
Special thanks to the reception - they told us about all the nearby attractions and how to get to them)
The rooftop restaurant also has amazing views. The same thing was served for breakfast every day, but everything was delicious.
I am incredibly pleased with my choice - I heartily recommend the hotel
And Istanbul is just incredible. ☺️🖤 I'm thrilled)
We lived in a Deluxe room: a French balcony with a view of the Bosphorus, 2 single beds, a sofa, an armchair, a coffee table. The room is spacious, modern renovation, has everything you need. Tea station with tea bags, coffee, cream, paper cups looked really depressing)) 2 0.5 pieces of water were replenished every day. Breakfast on the terrace of the last floor with a view of the Bosphorus added charm to the rest)) The breakfasts are hearty, everything is fresh, you can additionally order egg dishes (omelet, glaze, scramble). The location of the hotel is 5 stars! To the tram stop T1 - 3 minutes, supermarket Show -2 minutes, pharmacies, cafes, kebabs are all nearby. The Blue Mosque is a 7-minute walk away. Theodosius Cistern is around the corner. I definitely recommend the hotel and I will be happy to return.
We went with my 12-year-old daughter to the May holidays, stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The priority when choosing a hotel was the location in the center - as close as possible to the sights.
The hotel is in a modern style, young and not very Turks are active and friendly at the reception.
The rooms are spacious, not as new as the reception, but quite cozy. The beds, as usual in Turkey, are comfortable, the linen is pleasant to the body).
A pleasant bonus turned out to be that the restaurant with a panoramic view of the Bosphorus, even sitting not at the window but in the center of the hall, is still bright and pleasant to look into the horizon. But the breakfast assortment surprised with its modesty - before that we had only been to the beach areas of Turkey and expected more. But there is bread and butter everywhere, and we didn't stay hungry. And coffee to order (not from a vending machine) is delicious!
In general, if the goal is to travel around the city and come to spend the night only at the hotel, it's a great option! I recommend.
Nice hotel. The location is very convenient - you can walk to most of the attractions. There are many shops, catering establishments of all kinds, a sauna in the area. Breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant, there is a wonderful view of the city and the strait, there is also a completely open part of the roof, tables under the open sky. There is a lot of space in the lobby, you can sit with a laptop in comfort and silence. The only thing I didn't like: the breakfasts are the same every day, there is absolutely no meat, porridge, cheesecakes, pancakes, no cappuccino.
There is no swimming pool, but it is hardly worth waiting for in the historical center. It took us an hour and a half to get from the hotel to the airport (by metro), although we drove 3 hours from the airport to the hotel (also by metro), since at first it was difficult to navigate the subway.
Excellent location, and one of the few or even the only one in the historic center where there is an elevator!!! It's very important, because you get tired after a whole day on your feet shopping and sightseeing)) Sultanahmet Square is a 3-minute walk away, and the tram stop is 5-6 minutes away. The breakfasts are very good, full of desserts and hot dishes can be ordered separately, there are only the usual porridges for us. The staff is friendly, even helpful, everything is perfect!! The building is 7 storeys taller than other buildings in the area, so the restaurant's view of the Bosphorus is magnificent!!!
The hotel in Istanbul has exceeded all our expectations! The location is just perfect — just a few minutes walk to the main attractions of the city, including the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The room was spacious, clean and cozy, with a stunning view of the Marmara Sea. The staff turned out to be incredibly hospitable and ready to help in any situation. The breakfasts were varied and delicious. We will definitely come back here again and recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a trip to Istanbul!
Nice hotel, cozy, the location is very convenient. Close to shops, laundry, walk-through streets, close to tram stops. The rooms are clean, the breakfasts are delicious, the service is decent, and the view from the rooftop restaurant is beautiful. It's cool in the rooms during the cold season (as it probably is everywhere else)
I really liked everything! Especially helpful and courteous staff, cleanliness, breakfasts with panoramic views! The best memories from Istanbul are from this hotel! The location is convenient, the choice of breakfast dishes is sufficient, the panoramic view of the Marmara Sea is just a fairy tale! 5 stars!!!
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in October 2024
Good location: all the main sights of Sultanahmet are within walking distance, there is a bus stop nearby, but we walked, did not use public transport.
The furniture in the lobby bar is tired. The room was given on the 3rd floor, a French balcony, the noise from the road was not heard with the windows closed. The bed linen and towels are white, the pillows are uncomfortable, the carpet is tired, they give slippers. From cosmetics, disposable shampoo and hair conditioner.Tea, coffee, sugar, a few bottles of water.I really liked the breakfasts, the beautiful view from the restaurant on the 6th floor. The hotel has a hammam, it is small, you need to book in advance, you will be alone.
I liked the hotel, in principle I would have returned here.
Nice, spacious rooms (everything is as in the photo on the website). On the 2nd floor there is a sauna and a Turkish bath. Delicious breakfasts and stunning sea views. The location is excellent - in the historical part of the city. I was confused by only one small thing - that there is no lock in the bathroom / toilet room :)
The hotel is nice, the breakfasts are fast, but everything is delicious and fresh.View from the breakfast cannon 🔥The rooms are clean. The location is excellent, all the main attractions are 5-7 minutes away. Special thanks to the guys at the reception, very nice young people, they will always help and prompt.
A gorgeous hotel. Convenient location, all attractions are within walking distance. The hotel staff is very helpful. The rooms are clean, cleaned every day, and the breakfasts are excellent. There is a great restaurant next to the hotel- Ortaglar (partners) Recommend it!!!
Wonderful hotel, very friendly. Good cleaning every day, close to the main attractions. On the downside, there are no bathrobes and slippers in the room, as well as dental supplies. But it's so cozy here that you turn a blind eye to everything, their gorgeous views alone are worth it.
The hotel is not bad, we were in December, all the sights are nearby, one person speaks a little Russian at the reception. The breakfasts are normal, you won't stay hungry. The rooms have shower facilities, no toothpaste or brushes, disposable cups, tea and coffee bags, and bottles of water. During my arrival, it was my birthday, the hotel did not congratulate me in any way, although at breakfast I saw that one guest was congratulated with a cake with a candle, it was unpleasant. I want to mention the very comfortable mattress in the room - I was tired of walking for many kilometers during the night. We also visited the SPA, neither the master nor the repair caused any delight.
We stayed at the hotel from January 7 to January 13. A very decent hotel for the center of Istanbul. The location is perfect - a minute to the tram, breakfast includes everything you need, the dishes are very good (not typical). The rooms have comfortable beds, all bathroom amenities (except for a bathrobe), are cleaned regularly, the neighbors are not heard. I also liked the SPA.
We had a rest with my husband for three days. We settled in quickly. Our room was on the 6th floor with a sea view and a balcony. First, probably about the downside...The room is extremely tired, the ceiling is leaking, the laminate on the floor is bulging, the wallpaper is peeling in places, the hair dryer works for 2 minutes and then stops... For three days, they never vacuumed or mopped the floors, and dust flew out from under the table on our last day, although the beds were made and towels were changed... The room has an empty refrigerator, no bathrobes (provided on request) and slippers (not provided), there is a kettle, 2 bottles of water, no glass glasses, mugs. Paper cups for tea.... The mattresses are hard, comfortable enough for sleeping, the bed is about 2 m * 2 m very large. The most terrible thing was that the restaurant's veranda was above the room -there was a constant noise from there all night and evening, as if a washing machine was washing or a powerful air conditioner was working... Chairs and tables were being moved... As for breakfast, you should not expect anything special or aesthetic. There will be an omelet, eggs, sausage, cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, puff pastry.... Orange juice, coffee tea. There are not enough places for everyone, you have to share a table with someone sometimes... Well, it's sad, to be honest... Of the advantages 1. excellent location, because nearby there are shops, pharmacy, cafes, Feodosiya cistern, tram T1 - all in 5 minutes.. The main attractions are a 12-minute walk away. 2.-Having visited several view terraces in this area of the city, we can say that the view of the sea is quite good from the room, if not for the terrible wall, but only the sea is visible, not the sights... Probably everything. I think you can find a better hotel for this money. We're not going back.
The first impression is not very good, but after a few days it's not bad. The room (three over 12 years old) is quite large. The staff doesn't comment. The breakfasts are not luxurious, but sufficient. It bothered me that the glasses in the room were paper, but we bought what we wanted at a convenience store (next to it) (almost for nothing) and calmed down. The old town is nearby, the tramway is nearby. In principle, we are satisfied with the rest.
We stayed at this hotel from 29.03 to 5.04. 2025
Of the stated 4*, I can put a maximum of 2*.
Let's start in order, of all the staff at the reception, there was one young man who was ready to help. All the staff at the reception area did not say hello once for 7 days, they did not even look up at our good morning. Cars were being repaired on the street, or they were smoking with friends. There is no service here.
The room was located on the 5th floor, with access to the Bosphorus and the local slums. This view was accompanied by dirt and street debris.
In the room: double bed, 2 bedside tables, 2 armchairs, table, refrigerator, safe, cupboards, cosmetics in the bathroom (unused, I can not say about the quality). The floor is covered with laminate flooring, it's somehow not comfortable, but it became clear later why there is carpet in the hallway, in the rooms opposite. There was no hot water in the room, or rather it was, a thin trickle, without pressure.
On the third day in Istanbul, the weather worsened, it was raining and our room was flooded, water was pouring from the ceiling, along the walls. You should have seen the bewilderment of the hotel representative and the screams, he was just in a panic. Another employee quickly got his bearings and we were overpowered in another room, where the laminate was swollen, the ceiling was streaked with yellow. That's the answer to why there was no carpet.
The breakfasts are terrible. 7 days of the same food! The terrace was closed in the open air, so there weren't enough places for everyone, and we could have been seated with another couple, or they could have sat with us, the feeling of a dining room is evident.
Food quality: fermented tomatoes, slippery cheese, and the most disgusting tea I've ever drunk. It feels like it's been brewed more than once. Tea tastes better from a tea bag. Different types of coffee for money, you will be offered only black with milk. It was amazing for me to order scrambled eggs or an omelet, this is a show program, an omelet in which a sliced piece of ham will be put.
The advantage of the hotel is only one thing, within walking distance from the center of the historic city.
I don't recommend it
We were in Istanbul for the first time, we stayed in a hotel from November 9 to November 14, the room had a view of the courtyard and a French balcony, the only negative was the glass toilet door and it did not close, But when booking, I chose the cheapest room, it cost 36 thousand for 5 days with breakfast. The breakfasts were excellent, the buffet was fresh, it was very tasty, the waiters seated us at tables, poured tea and coffee. The staff is polite, we left our bags before check-in and after we were given a room card, which is convenient since we arrived early and left in the evening, we still had time to take a walk.
Nice and clean hotel, I really fell in love with the breakfasts on the terrace, the view is gorgeous)))
Very friendly staff, there is a small gym.
Overall, the hotel is not bad, but the furniture is a bit old.
A cozy, clean hotel within walking distance of the main attractions. There is a tram stop nearby. Friendly staff. Hearty breakfasts. A comfortable mattress.
A huge plus is the view from the window at the breakfasts and the breakfasts were delicious. Close to some attractions. The hotel itself already needs renovation. I would not stay in this area or in this hotel anymore. Restaurants nearby are expensive (in other areas it is tastier and cheaper). But the view and the large bed in the room covered the disadvantages)
The hotel is good. In the historical center. Friendly staff. The breakfast is good, you will not stay hungry: delicious cheeses-several types, wonderful pastries, coffee, olives, omelette, vegetables, fruits. Stunning view from the 7 Mile restaurant on the hotel terrace. Cleaning is daily. We lived in room 306, on the 3rd floor. Small balcony, sea view. The floor covering of the room needs to be replaced-it has seen the sights, so to speak. Otherwise, there are no complaints. I recommend the hotel.
The hotel, as well as the staff, left only positive emotions! The breakfasts are served in a super atmosphere, with friendly staff. The hotel does not impose anything superfluous. Cleaning is carried out every day. I was very pleased with the level of service.
A cozy, kind hotel in the heart of the historical part of Istanbul. It is located within walking distance from all the historical gems of the city. There is a wonderful restaurant in the hotel itself... oh, what bread they bake there!!!! From the stove directly to the table....
An Istanbul-style hotel!
The best thing about it is the breakfasts with a super view of the Bosphorus!
The worst is dark rooms, a translucent door to the toilet (frosted transparent glass), the water will become warm after 10 minutes in the shower. You can't just turn on the warm water in the washbasin without a shower.
The staff is excellent.
Nearby tram by location
A wonderful hotel in the historical center!
Convenient location, close to all attractions!
We stayed in a room on the 4th floor with a sea view. The room is spacious, a large bed, cleaning was carried out daily, there are mini cosmetics, which were replenished every day.
Good breakfast, European
Very nice and friendly staff!
A great hotel. Conveniently located. We arrived from Istanbul in November, checked into the hotel without any problems, did not book in advance. The rooms are great. With a street view of 130 euros, with a view of the neighboring building of 100 euros. Breakfast with a view of the Bosphorus on the top floor without complaints. The sauna and hammam in the basement are about nothing, consider that there is none. The staff is friendly.
The hotel is located in the heart of the historical part of the city. All historical sights are within walking distance. The receptionists are friendly and in a mixture of Turkish and English dialect sincerely try to tell you how to get to the room and where breakfast takes place. Breakfast is served on the roof of the hotel with a beautiful view of the bay. This, in my opinion, is the end of the advantages. The room is spacious enough, but at least requires a good cleaning of soft flooring, the lighting is dim and the prevailing twilight is somewhat annoying. The cosmetic kit is modest, I recommend taking a toothbrush and razor with you. Breakfast for 4 stars is very modest and not delicious. The waiters look somewhat sad, probably tired of the guests during the season and therefore do not pay due attention to the cleanliness of cutlery and dishes.
The settlement is remote. I found the number on the Internet and called. I checked in a little earlier, thanks for that!
The room was on the ground floor, the windows are level with the ground. For an amateur. Everything is visually new, but holes in the bedding are a fear.
And without knocking at 11:30 we decided to come in! I haven't seen anyone, but I think it's cleaning. The hotel didn't even apologize!
It's good for one night when there are no options.
We stayed at the hotel for a week. I really liked everything: the location of the hotel, the rooms, the service. Quiet and clean, delicious breakfasts in a beautiful room overlooking the Bosphorus. The room fully corresponds to the photo. We can say that he exceeded expectations. The staff is very friendly. Thanks for the rest.
We are currently vacationing in Istanbul at this hotel, we really like everything, and the room is excellent and the location is good and comfortable, breakfast is on the 7th floor, everything is very tasty, I advise
I really liked this hotel. Polite staff. Although they don't speak Russian, they are trying to help.
Lovely restaurant upstairs. In the evening there is a prakra, the kitchen and the view
A chic hotel for its star. It is important to choose rooms on the Bosphorus ... and the 4th floor ... and breakfast in a restaurant with panoramic views is incredible.
I stayed at this hotel from 28.01 to 6.02. 2023)
Very good location of the hotel in terms of infrastructure and attractions) near a pharmacy, a delicious cafe, super markets (where there is no alcohol), shops where there is alcohol))) Sultanahmet Square is a 7-minute walk in a straight line, and then to the embankment, to the Galata Tower, to the street with umbrellas, etc.) but, next to it, there is a whole street of shoes) and regular merchants who are very loud, and traffic jams on this street until 19 o'clock, for sure) I first lived in the economy 403 room, where the room was dark, because the windows were wrapped and looked directly at the building) the room itself is not very bad, not big and relatively quiet) and warmer), and then I made an upgrade with an additional fee, on the sea, the same floor, room 406, it was larger in area, but the same in the interior 1 in 1) and of course, lighter and more pleasant) even just because it's bigger) well, the view, of course, is beautiful both in the afternoon and in the evening at sea) but, it's very noisy) the double-glazed windows are kind of puny compared to economy) so it was very noisy and colder, the wind was blowing, and motorists were always honking) but I was saved by earplugs) in general, I do not regret) but all the arrival, it would be hard for me in this room)
The breakfasts are very modest, I didn't like much) I ate boiled eggs and vegetables) scrambled eggs for money) a lot of cheese, vegetables, salad, in general, you will not stay hungry)
The hotel itself is not bad, very friendly and friendly staff, 24/7 help)! Thank them very much! There is a spa, but there is only 1 sauna and 1 hammam) and that's it) and a shower) very small. The veranda is currently under repair, it did not work out to sit and look at the beauty, at the time of my arrival, they said that it would be ready in 10 days)
In general, I can't say anything bad) normal 4ka)
1 photo view from the economy room) straight to the house)
A great hotel with a very convenient location. Everything can be reached on foot or 2-3 tram stops away.
Our windows overlooked the neighboring building, but we were not even disappointed, because there are many motorcycles riding along the narrow streets of Istanbul, and even with the window closed, they can be heard very well. And we were quiet, we slept great.
Breakfasts are served with panoramic views of the Bosphorus, a pleasure. And the food is quite good, we were very satisfied.
A good hotel, excellent staff, daily room cleaning, change of linen and towels, replenishment of shampoo and shower gel as needed. Amazing breakfasts with a wonderful view. Convenient location, close to attractions
The hotel is pretty. What it looks like and everything in it and where it is located, I can say almost a solid four. The restaurant where the food is served, good attentive service, not wildly varied serving of dishes, but the view of the Bosphorus is just a cannon here. It's a pleasure to have breakfast and admire this beauty.
A wonderful hotel, top-level service, wonderful varied breakfasts, delicious coffee. The room with a sea view was cleaned every day, towels were changed daily, shampoos and shower gel were replenished as needed/daily
A great hotel, if I'm going to Istanbul, then only to this hotel, the views are wonderful from the restaurant on the top floor, the breakfasts are excellent
