Great hotel🤗
Lots of pools (rooftop pool is ❤️)
I really liked the friendly staff, they always communicated with us warmly
Delicious food, good room stock.
The sandy beach is not deep (the main beach) to which the bus takes you.
Convenient location (close to the Old Town and many shops)
I also recommend going to the Mango store within walking distance
To sum up, we really liked everything, I advise and recommend visiting the hotel

The hotel looks very nice and stylish from the outside. Excellent service, caring staff, constantly asked if everything was okay.
The rooms are clean, the hotel has several pools, 2 of them on the roof.
The food was normal, without frills, but there was enough to eat. Once for a vacation, you can go to the rooftop restaurant for free, it's very tasty there.
Cons: I didn't like the beach from the hotel, there is a shuttle service every hour. If you want a beautiful transparent sea, you will have to go to other beaches.
The animation is not very good.

I liked the hotel very much, I'll start with the pros (+)
The food in the restaurant is very tasty, the alcohol tastes normal (not as usual in Egypt), there are also snacks, you won't stay hungry for sure.
Wi-Fi works throughout the hotel, even on the roof, even in the room, everywhere!
The rooms are clean, the only thing you can see is that they are already a little tired, but a huge plus is that there are always a lot of towels! You can also take individual towels to the beach and change them during the day as much as you want to clean.
Many people write that it was a minus for them that they had to get to the hotel by transfer, but for us it turned out to be a plus. On the bus, everyone got to know each other and told them which beaches you can go to, which store, what is better to buy and at what price. Even if you are late for the transfer, you can take a taxi for $ 1 to the beach, and a 5-minute walk to the paid beach.
The free beach is well suited for children, everywhere is clean, sand, buoys are close and shallow, those who shave the depths are just perfect, there is also a bar on the beach.
There are also beautiful reefs on the paid beach, but already deep, go there only for snorkeling and do not walk with your feet in the sea, you can step on coral.

There are 4 swimming pools in the building, two heated. The food is simple, but delicious. But there is no normal coffee in the hotel. They take you to the beach according to the schedule. Every day the programs are entertaining. But the girls' animators were clueless. They won't really charge, nor will they interest people. Very convenient location. There is a place to walk.

If you make repairs and complete the water park, it will be a complete tie. There are small merchants and shops nearby, it is close to the center. Otherwise, the infrastructure of the hotel will be enough for 7-10 days to relax. Cool pool on the 4th floor. There were quite pleasant feelings. The hotel itself is not as big as it seemed at first. There are 4 pools, 2 heated. One says that you can swim at least 16 years old. There is a gym and a SPA, but few people visit them during the hike. There is a bus from the hotel to two beaches, one for a fee costs $ 2, coral and free, which is located near the old town market. Transfer to them every hour, which is the main disadvantage of this hotel. This is a scheduled vacation life. Eternal dependence on this schedule, which is extremely annoying. There is no transfer service from 12 to 14. The hotel is aimed at foreign tourists from the European Union who do not go to the beach, but swim in the pool and sunbathe on the roof. Wi-Fi is available throughout the territory, even in the rooms, and there is a walking area with shopping nearby. You can go here once, but I didn't like the distance from the sea. Great hotel, beautiful.Everything is clean, the staff is hardworking and unobtrusive.The food is fine.The coffee is good.The beach is 20 minutes away on foot, or there is a bus from the hotel almost every hour (free of charge). The Hotel staff is very responsive, my wife's shoe strap broke, we went to the reception and had it repaired in half an hour. Check-in is early, if you leave later, no one throws you out, you can also go and eat. The staff at the Restaurant is super. In general, we were very satisfied. I really liked the hotel. Although there are many rooms and the restaurant is always crowded, but there are few people on the beach and in the pools. The hotel has 4 pools, 1 heated, in others the water temperature is like in the sea. There is a rooftop bar between 2 pools, as well as a snack bar and a restaurant with a separate specific menu. The staff is polite, helpful, always wondering if everything is okay, smiling. There is a lot of varied food. The breakfasts are basically the same, eggs, waffles, vegetables, cottage cheese and pickled cheeses, sausages, sausage and cutlets in soy burgers, and this is basically in Egypt. There are all the basics, mashed potatoes, rice, noodles. Lots of vegetables and fresh and boiled and stewed and grilled, pastries, cakes, fruits, meat, chicken, fish. In general, you will definitely not stay hungry.
The furniture in the rooms is not new, but it looks quite normal. Sometimes a gel was left instead of shampoo, the hair dryer was very weak.
The bar is open all the time, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails are made, Pina Colada is a special love. They pour coffee, soda, water, beer. Beer with bitterness is poured from aluminum cans.

There is also a lot of garbage on the beach
In general, we were very sorry that we took the Il Mercato hotel.This is not a 5*, but an honest 2*. The hotel management needs to go at least to Turkey, and preferably to the Emirates, in order to understand what a 5* is, even if it is budget.
In Egypt for the first and last time, we will not go anymore:It's dirty and not tasty.

Hello everybody! We were there in early May 2024. The weather is gorgeous, there is no suffocating heat! The hotel provides decent food, meat, fish, vegetables, fruits! But the coffee is disgusting... The animation is pleasing! I took off the star for the beach, it's an outrage, to be honest.... The fenced area resembles a frog house in a pioneer camp) do you remember?) 20 meters by, well, maybe 100 meters wide, at low tide, the buoys are waist-deep.... I went to a nearby hotel, there is a huge area on the water. Sadly. It's the same story on a paid beach, albeit at a depth. You can't leave the territory, the rescuers are squeaking like victims...

Fresh fruits in a good assortment every day, they also arrange special days, watermelon and mango or some other goodies, but we managed to catch only these, but we disappeared a lot on excursions. The pools are clean, lifeguards are always on site if anything. The rooms are cleaned every day. There were some hitches with the change of bed linen and towels, but this is not critical. The hotel is old, but generally well maintained! A large area is closed! But we liked everything and we would have come back again! By the way, which is not unimportant, the hotel has two beaches and both have a lively beautiful reef, buses every hour! We miss you guys.

If you go to the reception, they will do everything as you ask.
As for the food, it's not super, but it's not bad, no one will stay hungry., but in general, a solid four, because it's delicious... sweets in sufficient quantity and everything is very tasty 5 out of 5, there are not many fruits, but still there are. Live music for 30 minutes during dinner.
Everything that is outside the territory is weakly kapets simply, firstly, garbage that is everywhere.... the green territory is cleaned, and there is a lot of garbage lying nearby, as if they do not see it.
And in general, while driving from the airport and around the city on excursions, there was a feeling that the city was after the apocalypse, but the guide explained for what reason.
Wi-Fi is available in the lobby and in the rooms, in some neighboring hotels this was not the case. There is hot water, the neighbors did not have it, they only had warm water.

We had a rest at the end of September, the hotel is worth the money, the room is cleaned daily, towels were changed every day, the food is average (there were delicious shrimp), in the open hall of the restaurant Fekri Mahmed, Armo.Tarek, great respect to the guys, Administrator Anna helps to solve all the issues, thank her very much!the hotel has four swimming pools, there are always free sun beds, three Bars,good animation,a shuttle service goes to the beach, a beach bar,. we rested for eleven days and we are not tired of what we wish you!

The hotel is decent. Oriental luxury interiors. Urban with 2 pools on the roof and in the courtyard. Animation entertains continuously. From simple exercises to yoga, from water polo to darts tournaments. Evening shows on the roof, buses to the beach, polite staff, live music in the lobby, and much more positive and pleasant.

I was at this hotel in the middle of February.
Number: We checked into a nice room without a tip. The cleaning was done daily and very well. The room is bright, spacious, clean.
FOOD: As in all hotels. It's monotonous, but you won't stay hungry. They give physalis and kumquat.
hotel: Handsome, pompous. The Italian built it for his own people. The hotel has its own street, the Colosseum, and there should have been shops. Like the Moscow Arbat, but the shops are all closed and the hotel is half empty(. There is a good hookah bar near the hotel where you can smoke a hookah for 50 pounds (100-150₽). If you go further, there is a cheap souvenir shop MANGO MARKET. There are 2 swimming pools on the roof of the hotel. One with heating, the other without. A very beautiful view of the whole city. There is also a dinner and evening animation. The animators were very nasty. Especially the madam from Belarus.
THE BEACH: that's 4 stars for the beach. The beach is far away and it takes about 40 minutes to walk to it. A bus takes you to the beach on time. Personally, I am not a fan of running and flying on time. If you're late, the next one will be in an hour. They don't go to lunch. We took a taxi from the beach for $1. They are not allowed to go to the beach with alcohol and drinks in general. The beach bar is paid and very expensive. Entering the sea by pontoon. The reef is not dead, it is beautiful.

The food was very tasty, different food every day! The events will do! There is a feeling that the bed linen is not changed from the word at all, just vacuumed and refilled. At first, they settled in the wrong room without a balcony, referring to the fact that the superio can be without a balcony! Be sure to be indignant and preferably with the leaders, and not with the greeters at the entrance! The beach is dirty, but the others are not cleaner!

Some Disadvantages (I didn't find any advantages): -very, very far from the sea -there is no coffee machine at breakfast - there is something strange for breakfast instead of coffee -Tea and coffee are not served for lunch and dinner and in general tea is disgusting in minzurki, but at the same time they alcoholize people very well) -The beaches from the hotel are disgusting (including paid ones - it's not clear what $ 4 to pay for a paid beach at all-it's just outrageous for a 5-star hotel! )
-The hotel pulls a maximum of 3 stars -beautiful pictures of walking streets do not correspond to reality - in fact, complete ruin and renovation work (it turned out hotels this is how they avoid taxes : by carrying out constant renovation work of the hotel "for the benefit of dear tourists") -There are no slippers, bathrobe, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair conditioner in the room (which again does not correspond to the stated stars and the paid price for the ticket) -Some behave like starved piranhas, begging for tips - it's just annoying, it wasn't like that before

P.S.I paid 78 tons for 6 nights- single room from 02/12/2024 - the price is very overpriced, for the same price you can easily find a three-star hotel on the first line (after all, the sea is not very walking distance too bad, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, there is nothing worthy of attention nearby and there is no beauty nearby and you need to take a taxi to the old town, a walk certainly will not bring any pleasure). The situation was saved by the paid Mince beach (entrance is $ 4, as well as to the paid beach from the hotel, the views are stunning and the atmosphere is magnificent! Will I return to Egypt again? No!I definitely do not recommend this hotel to anyone! I have been to Egypt 4 times before, I flew for the first time after the opening of Egypt to Russia, It used to be much better. Last year (April 2023), for the same money, I flew to the Emirate of Fujairah (Miramar Hotel) and it was really luxurious and corresponded to the declared 5 stars!

A great hotel, if you go there only. Good rooms, excellent service. Everyone is friendly, polite. The animation is good. It was always fun. The food is great. Turkey is resting. Always fruits , vegetables, sweets .

A nice hotel, spacious, the rooms are not big, but the three of us fit. There is a bus to the sea, entrance from the beach and from panton. The food is like everywhere else, without frills, but you will not stay hungry. There is a gym, discos upstairs, a swimming pool during the day and the animation is not bad enough
