Amazing place with great service and delicious food!

The Idyll restaurant left a generally pleasant impression with a small reservation for the service. However, the atmosphere here is pleasant.
We tried several menu items, and basically liked everything. We were especially saved by the bread plate before serving the main items, because walking around the city, we were all very hungry. At first it seemed to me that the portions were somehow unfair, but I note that we still remained full (thanks to the bread plates, yes, there were several of them)
The entrance to the bathroom is disguised as a phone booth. This is an interesting move! The toilets are clean and, I'm not afraid to mention it, pleasant aromas are floating around. I am very happy when the management of the institution carefully looks after it!
But I do not recommend it for family holidays, there are no children's items on the menu, and it is difficult for waiters to navigate the menu items.
Maybe we were just unlucky with the shift, but besides the lack of interest on the part of the waiter, we also had to look for someone to bring the bill at the end. In this regard, dessert was not brought to the child on time (because the waiter forgot about us), we had to take it with us.
Anna Pavlova meringue was ordered and the establishment did not have a "box" for this case (nothing happens), however, the original idea of the employee was to break the dessert "to shreds" and still stuff it into a standard box and proudly give out a bag with him. The dessert was given to the child, in principle, this "number" did not affect the taste, but there is little aesthetics in this.
Therefore, alas, I have to keep one service star.
In general , coming to the veranda with friends and having a drink is a top - of - the - line place .

Complete delight! Cool interior, courteous staff, pleasant atmosphere and delicious dishes! We were at breakfast, we highly recommend an ideal breakfast with turkey ham, which is made in the restaurant on its own, buckwheat porridge and all kinds of cheesecakes: with chia and with greens! There are also very beautiful dishes, it is clear that everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The prices were extremely surprising for the better: if compared with Moscow, such breakfasts will cost 2 times more expensive. The place is a must have visit!

It's a great place!
The kitchen is beyond praise!
Managed to visit for breakfast and dinner.
Everything was perfect: pancake with apple, zucchini waffles with trout and poached egg, cheesecakes for breakfast, borscht for lunch, beef tartare, risotto with wild mushrooms and pasta with seafood for lunch.
I bow low to the business organizers for their impeccable in everything, the atmosphere, service, attention to detail and - to the client!!!
and, of course, to the chef - the dishes are great! And what an exquisite wine list!
The prices are normal, excellent even for this level of establishment.
This restaurant is the gastronomic attraction point of Brest (and Belarus)

The best service and delicious food in Brest that I found.

Today I was lucky enough (!) to visit a very atmospheric place - Idyll. I really want to share my emotions!!!) It is such a rarity when ALL the components of a holiday coincide!!! Those who have been here, I think they will agree with me: everything here is conducive to a quiet conversation and a cozy pastime. Very tasty breakfasts and amazing coffee. Our waiter Taisiya is beyond praise!!!!! She is competent, correct and very attentive!!!!! Noticing that I was congratulating my daughter on her birthday, I brought a gift from the institution - a dessert with a candle!!!!! Even something as simple as an ice latte was amazing! I cook dozens of them myself every day, but none of my own has ever tasted as good as this one. 😆
The service is amazing! The sweetest-looking girl Maria, who had a smile on her face during the service, took into account all our wishes, leaving a great mood for the whole day!

The only thing that upset me was the lack of a child's chair. The waitress girl (who does not know the menu) said that "it does not fit into the concept of the institution, since it is a wine bar," but nevertheless there are children's books and pencils
Breakfast is also served in the morning (I hasten to note some of the best in the city) and people with children come, during our stay there were 7 children, 3 of whom would definitely use a high chair.
I highly recommend buying it!

We had a rest on March 8th. It's beautiful, but uncomfortable. The service is terrible. We booked a table 3 weeks in advance, and they immediately indicated by phone that time at the table was limited, and it was impossible to choose a table in advance. A very interesting and pleasant place. The room itself is not large, there are many books (probably to brighten up the wait) and all the tables are different. We came here as a family for breakfast. Pleasant service and delicious food. The menu is really not very large, but everything that is on the menu can be cooked. The only drawback is the long wait for the dishes.

My wife and I often go to brunch
we like that there is no loud music, no shouting and running around and no trucks driving nearby. in 90% of cases, you can park right next to it
the kitchen is good, but it is small (there are few cooks and places for them) and if the room is full, then we have to wait a little longer, so we try to be there on weekdays.
the other day we arrived 3 minutes after opening (only one table was occupied) and waited 34 minutes for the order (omelette and pancakes). even for us (who are not in a hurry) It was TOO MUCH
the interior is interesting, with books from the 90s
I would not like to recommend it because then there will be more visitors and less attention to us. On the other hand, if there is no one, they will close and this is even worse.

I regret every missed day since February, when the institution opened!
I've been coming for breakfast 5 times already, everything is great. On weekends, there was no room for breakfast, I waited until a table was available. Excellent cheesecakes and waffles! This is something that I recommend everyone to try more than once.
It's great that you can come and read a book from the institution's personal library over a glass of wine.
I was at dinner once, surrounded by care, caught my mood. I ate cheeks with pearl barley - delicious. I was very afraid for this dish, I treat pearl barley negatively. But this gastronomic experience turned my perception upside down. I want to know the secret of this dish :)!
