During out recent trip to Samarkand we visited this restaurant twice. Firstly upon the recommendation of our guide and then again before out departure as our final meal. The atmosphere is friendly, not pretentious, the soups,meals and dishes we had were all delicious. Definitely try the Shashlik. We had both the beef and chicken. Yummy! The BBQ chef, stationed at the entrance, was always welcoming and went out of his way to ensure we were enjoying our meals. Bravo to both him and all the kind staff.

The food is delicious, the service is top-notch. Meat from the grill is generally space. It was convenient for us to eat there, as the exit from our hotel was directly opposite the entrance to this cafe. The only thing I didn't like was that the menu and the decor itself look a little cheap. But in general, it did not affect the impression. They ate up to their bellies for mere pennies.

In short, the essence of the review is: "guys, that you believed in yourself." We visited 2 times on April 30 and May 1 and the impressions are striking, but in essence: salads are normal, portions are good, vegetables are fresh. They took draft beer, too, OK; but cognac, as they said local, looks more like tinted moonshine, with the appropriate ambre (perhaps only I came across one). Soups are also for an amateur (although xs is an amateur of what ...). But the quality of meat products varies, apparently by the phase of the moon, because the lumpy kebab taken for 30 hours turned out to be very tasty and juicy, but its counterpart on May 1 turned out to be a dog's worn-out sister, possibly sick with something strong: 3 out of 10 pieces turned out to be meat on the bone, 5 more with a fat content of more than 70% from the piece itself and 3 more or less edible. It's a pity that I didn't take a photo of these delights. Service at the level: you need it, you ask more than one question: how did you like the dish, did you like it, and so on. The change was never brought from the account, but it was definitely added to the receipt, the service bill. I STRONGLY recommend that you think before going there: the hall is small, there is a large table in the center, where especially talkative guests from former friendly European countries will fit, and during the meal, you will hear their din more often than the interlocutor, well, this is a touch, to the atmosphere, absolute indifference, what to the guest What to eat. Samarkand is full of beautiful places, please choose wisely.
