Incredibly beautiful. It's impressive. Magically magical. Delightfully. Surprisingly.
We visited the oriental fairy tale of Scheherazade.
It 's insanely beautiful . Attracts and falls in love. Be sure to visit this magical place.
A beautiful palace! It looks especially cool at night with lights. In the evening, after the decline of tourists, you can walk around the palace in proud solitude and even climb onto the roof (with beautiful, beautiful views) along abandoned stairs. Life hack: the palace is closed at night, but the keys are in the nearest bar at the entrance. You can arrange and the palace will be opened especially for you :))) It will be an unforgettable experience.
A great place to immerse yourself in the history of ancient Khorezm! Mega cool national cuisine! I recommend trying fried fish and shivit oshy, but melons just melt in your mouth. For 20 thousand soums, which is about 1000 rubles, you can walk along the walls of the fortress. I recommend the Rasul Nazar mini Hotel. The hosts are amazingly kind.
A curious object. It's a big fortress. A city within a city. Just walking around the facility will not be enough. There are a lot of museums and interesting exhibitions inside the various buildings of this fortress. The object has been restored, the modern road surface is new sidewalks made of good-quality tiles (unlike other objects on the territory of Uzbekistan). During the day, you can observe many wedding ceremonies, as there are revered shrines on the territory of the fortress, which are usually visited during these ceremonies. Toilets on the territory of the fortress are paid. I was surprised that even today some of the buildings are used as housing stock and people live in these houses. I recommend you to visit. But preferably with a guide.
The old city is inside the fortress walls. The entire historical Khiva is located here. Narrow streets dotted with madrassas, mosques, caravanserais, restaurants, hotels and even residential buildings. You live in history. The feeling of a fairy tale. There are only crowds of merchants in turbans, camels and donkeys. Very beautiful, lots of places to visit.
All trade in souvenirs, tableware and textiles is in Ichan-Kalya. Even locals come from Urgench to buy national robes here. If you want to eat inside the fortress, book in advance. It is difficult to find lunch, and dinner is impossible. And don't break into the terraces. Uzbeks do not know how to serve quickly and efficiently. Crowds of tourists, large groups. The waiters are stupid, the quality is pushed aside. And worst of all, the service is included in the bill. That is, it makes no sense for the waiter to try. And so it is throughout Uzbekistan, by the way, with very rare exceptions.
It is located away from the tourist trails in Uzbekistan... And thank God. Authenticity has been preserved here. For me, Khiva is the soul of Uzbekistan. No new buildings, Coca-Cola signs, narrow ancient streets, very sociable and hospitable people. I have been to several cities of Uzbekistan, there is something to compare it with.
Khiva is great, anyone who has not been to Uzbekistan yet, urgently needs to go. Who likes to communicate, loves the friendship of peoples, loved the USSR, you are here. Young people here say: I did not live under the Soviet Union, if it was possible, I want to live in the USSR, It's nice. Affordable, warm, delicious, we are loved and respected here. They say: only Russia helps us, Russia-without pants, I answer with sadness.
A beautiful historical place, a day is enough to get acquainted. There is an opinion that UNESCO selectively allocates funds for the repair and restoration of historical architectural values, and local authorities should not interfere in this process. The conclusions are sad. But once in a lifetime it is necessary to visit this historical place.
It's a great place. The old town, the fortress, dozens of historical sites, madrassas, minarets, inexpensive souvenirs. In general, it is interesting and informative for those who like to understand history, people and ways of life.
Call a taxi using the short phone number 1054.
The old fortress of the ancient city. One of the coolest places in Uzbekistan, completely different from the rest. Unlike Bukhara and Samarkand, there is a minimum of renovation and restoration. Standing here, you feel the passage of time. The energy is frenzied. This place is often called Asian Egypt and there is something in it. By the way, the prices of merchants are lower than in other cities, if you bargain, of course. I definitely recommend it. If the question is that it is far from the central cities and whether it is worth coming here at all, then do not think for a long time. It's definitely worth going, thank you later)
A great place, a super attraction, a complete immersion in history. If you take a hotel inside Ichankala, it will enhance the effect. There are many interesting locations, beautiful views and delicious food in the cafe. And all this is inside the IchaNkal.
Ichan-Kala is a magical place, as if you are transported to the past, walking along the old eastern streets. It is very beautiful in the evening, good lighting
There are many historical attractions so you will not get bored, it will be interesting, you need to take a guide if you want to find out interesting things, ask the ticket office they advise where to get a guide, and so everywhere there is a qr code download the application and there is a complete history
The place for which they go to Khiva. You just can't get past it. It is necessary to take a walk both day and night. For today, the ticket costs 200,000 soums, valid for 2 days. In the evening, no one checks and you can pass without a ticket, but all museums, palaces and madrassas will be closed.
Ichan-Kala is the oldest city in Central Asia, entrance is paid and the same for each building, externally the ticket office is located there, it will be paid, inside there is the oldest rooms of the mosque, court, towers and so on there like a fairy tale
A very good place for tourists who are interested in history, a city for recreation is not bad in principle, but in summer it is very hot and the weather is dry
An oriental fairy tale! The atmosphere of an ancient city among the walls of the fortress. We got to the event, Khiva was given the status of the tourist capital of Islam 2024. There were dances, music, dolls. Very colorful!
I really really liked it, it just smells of the East and antiquity, everything is well preserved, care is felt, polite friendly and hospitable people! Thank you very much!
Amazing place, we have passed many cities and places in Uzbekistan, and I have not regretted any of them. The old town is full of antiquities, many museums, cafes, in the evening we saw a free national puppet and costume show on the square.Beautiful night lighting.Lots of souvenirs.I think you need to visit!
I advise you to visit, walking along the streets you forget about the outside world, it is very fascinating. I think it will be very hot in summer, the weather was very comfortable in May.
A fantastically beautiful place in marvelous Khiva! We remember with pleasure, especially at night, walking through the deserted streets of ancient Khiva! You need to see and feel it!
Без сомнения один из мест, городов Узбекистанв который следует посетить, посмотреть город, пройтись по историческим улицам, окунутся в средневековую обстановку, насладится спокойствием, ритмом города
The stunningly beautiful ancient city of Khiva. A lot of impressions. No photos will convey what they saw. One point is not clear why the entrance to the museum for foreigners, and Russians are foreigners for them, costs almost four times more expensive. As far as I know, we have the same price for everyone.
ICHAN KALA - Khiva is a very cool and colorful place! Be sure to visit upon arrival in Uzbekistan. Without visiting this city, the journey through ancient Uzbekistan will not be over....
A rather mediocre museum. Take tickets for two days so that you can slowly go through the next day what you did not have time for on the first day. A very overpriced price for climbing the minaret.
This is a CALTA MINOR
So they are called because they are not strictly from the whole time, Hong ordered the highest MINOR and the master avoided that when he heard when the MINOR was ready, he killed you and he avoided
I didn't build it that way
Хиву надо обязательно увидеть сохранился в первозданной красе старый город за крепостными стенами хорошая национальная кухня единственно если на поезде вагоны советского прошлого вспоминаешь молодость
Oh, this is the city of Khiva and the museum will forever remain in my heart! The Fairy Tale of the East is one of the greatest impressions of our trip to Uzbekistan!!!
Окруженный мощными крепостными стенами полностью сохранился старинный город, в котором вечером, когда нет туристов, можешь почувствовать, что ты находишься в средние века. Множество музеев, можно подняться на стены крепости и смотровую площадку.
