A small, cozy hotel in the most luxurious location in the Kata area. There are 2 swimming pools, it is very nice and cozy near it. Very good staff. They solve any issue quickly and are always ready to help. The rooms are clean. The food is delicious, but monotonous, but does not have time to get bored. Very tasty coffee for breakfast! There is a shuttle bus to the beach, but you can walk for 5-7 minutes. I'm ready to come back here again.

The hotel is just great. Ideal location, within easy reach of pharmacies, grocery stores, in the courtyard (!!!) The hotel has a seafood, fruit and souvenir fair every evening. The beach is 10 minutes away at a slow pace, but if desired, a tuk-tuk goes from and to the hotel, they have never used it, really. The rooms are clean, the breakfasts are acceptable, not Turkish all-inclusive, of course, but standard breakfasts, you will not stay hungry. I definitely recommend it. Another bonus is the hotel near Kata beach, which is located in the bay and even in the off-season (August) there are no big waves on the sea, so you can safely go in the summer with children.

The hotel is 3* , but it has everything you need. The room was cleaned every day. We only took breakfast. The range is not large, but there was a choice. Local and European cuisine.Everything is fresh.Good location. Near the market, food court. There are many different cafes and restaurants. You can walk to the beaches. I recommend Karon, where the team rents out sunbeds 200 baht + a bonus bottle of water. You can also go for a snack, and the place will be saved for you. There is a changing room. They clean the beach of tidal debris every evening! And the sand is shining there.

I liked the hotel as a whole. If you do not find fault, there is not such a big difference with a 4* hotel. Hearty breakfasts always include rice, noodles, breakfast cereals, fruits, sausages, toast, tea, coffee, juices. The rooms are spacious, everything is there, towels are changed if you throw them on the floor. The only big disadvantage when checking in. They are inhabited only from 14-00 and it takes a very long time and the more people the longer. I waited 40 minutes, considering the 9 hours of flight, it is very difficult to be friendly. It should be borne in mind that on the one hand, next to the hotel, it is better to immediately ask for a room from the pool side. I asked after I looked at the room, they agreed without any problems, but only the next day at 12:00. I had to wait again, pack my things and move them. In fact, 2 days have been lost. There is a swimming pool on the territory of the hotel, there are sun beds around, but there are very few of them and most of the residents occupy them and leave. The towel is lying, the man is not there. An important fact is very poor sound insulation, you can hear what is happening in the neighboring rooms and in the corridor too. It's not very far to the beach, the exchanger next to the hotel does not recommend a bad course there. In general, the hotel left more positive emotions, but there are nuances that need to be taken into account.

A good chain hotel, not new, but clean. The bed linen and towels are new, without the slightest complaints, even the hotel provides beach slippers. The location is good, the night market and other shops are close, it takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach, there is no road directly to the sea. You can also walk to Karon, that is, walking access to two beaches. It seemed there was even a transfer to the sea, but we did not use it. The breakfast is good enough, everything was fine with us. Vacationed with my husband in Thailand for the first time, from 04.09.24 to 09.20.24, the choice fell on Ibis Phuket Kata. Russian Russian tourists love the hotel - 90% of vacationers are Russians and about 10% are Chinese. The hotel is budget - out of season (!) it cost us about 170t.r.. We decided to choose a more modest hotel, but take more money with us for island trips and other excursions. For sophisticated tourists who are used to the chic 5 ★ hotels in Turkey and Egypt, the Ibis will seem very modest and unpretentious. But for Thailand, this is a very good three!
1) On nutrition: we had breakfast included. The food here is very decent - quite European cuisine and a little Thai, there are always eggs, sausages, rice, several types of fruits, pastries for breakfast, in general, we had enough of everything, we always left well-fed (I attach photos of our breakfasts). The only thing that does not work well is the coffee machine - it only gives out bitter Americano.
2) Rooms: we had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool. The rooms are really tiny, only the bed and bedside tables fit. Each room has a balcony, but it is also very small, it is barely possible to fit two people. The bathroom is also small (I also attach a photo of the bathroom, but even in the photo the room looks bigger than it actually is). The room is cleaned every day. We left Alyonka chocolate on the bed for the cleaners a couple of times and our room was cleaner the whole vacation than when we first moved in there!) But I must say that the rooms are tired and have been in need of at least cosmetic repairs for a long time - the furniture and sink are very shabby, there are not enough shelves and holders in the shower to put your shower gels, although the hotel provides gel, shampoo and hand soap. Bed linen and towels are changed on request, both are always snow-white and clean. The hotel provides beach towels and slippers (but the slippers are reusable, i.e. someone wore them before you, keep in mind). There is not enough shelf/bedside table at the entrance to the room for bags and keys. The air conditioner is working properly. There is no closet like this either, things were stored in a suitcase, there is a small compartment with hangers. The safe is working properly.
3) The staff is very polite, speaks English well, any questions are resolved quickly. A deposit of $ 100 was left upon arrival, and it was returned without problems upon departure. You can also order a breakfast box for free with an early departure.
4) The hotel is very conveniently located - 5-10 minutes to Kata beach. This is the cleanest beach we've been to, there aren't many tourists here and there were almost no waves. There are 7/11 shops, pharmacies and an exchange office near the hotel, and a small night market arrives right in front of the hotel in the evening (where you can eat for two adults for about 350-400 baht for dinner).
The hotel provides umbrellas (you can take both to the beach from the sun and from the rain). Although we were out of season, it was sunny almost every day and it only rained for a couple of days. There is a free scheduled shuttle service to the beach.
In general, the hotel is not bad, a confident budget three-piece with a convenient location. In order to spend the night and have a delicious breakfast, it will be perfect!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks from July 29th. The room had a view of the pool. Everyone cleans, the staff is responsive. The deposit is $100. The weather pleased us, there was almost no rain, if only a couple of times. You can take an umbrella at the reception for free. The rooms are small, but cozy, and have everything you need. The breakfasts are good. In the evening, there is shopping and live music near the hotel. The sea is a 10-minute walk away. The sea is clean, the beach is good, the nature is beautiful, there were waves during this period, everyone was swimming. The hotel has a very good location, everything is nearby for every taste, I recommend the cafe "Veranda", they cook very tasty. Currency exchange, several points and everything is nearby. The 7/11 store is five minutes away. There is a bus stop near the hotel, you can get to the center by public transport, 40 baht per person, travel time is 1 hour. We want to come back to this hotel again.

It feels like the hotel is 100% Russian. There is a fairly well-groomed territory and tolerable breakfasts for this cost of living, but you will get tired of having breakfast here on the 7th day. I recommend considering a hotel for 5 days and somewhere further, for example, Phi Phi.
The hotel is very guest-oriented, despite the lack of lunch / dinner, there is an area where you can order cocktails / lunch / dinner - by lunch and dinner I mean a club sandwich, which is more than enough for two (200 baht), or pizza (250 baht). Quite to yourself, if you are too lazy to crawl out somewhere after the beach.
The air conditioning in the room is working to kill, they are cleaned tolerably :)

I stayed at the hotel from 19.11 to 30.11. I liked the hotel. The staff is polite. We asked for a room with a view of the pool, we were given it without any problems. Breakfast is normal, fruits (watermelons, melon,pineapples, dragon fruit), Cleaning daily if you hang a sign. There are two bottles of water, you can't take it out, we poured it into our own. The room has a hairdryer, kettle,tea,coffee, sugar. Towels are changed, there is a beach towel. But we mostly took our couch thinner. I took off the star, for the floor. They don't wash it at all, they just sweep it. There is not much drying on the balcony, we took a rope with us. A very cozy small area. In the evening, the night market is located near the hotel, Solikamsk is put on, music is playing, illumination is turned on. It's very soulful to sit down for dinner. We sometimes bought food at 7/11 and came to the hotel for dinner. The hotel is located between two beaches. Kata is closer, Karon is a little further away. There is a transfer from the hotel, but we did not use it. We mostly swam on Kata. The way to the beach. As you leave, go to the left, there is water and the beach is cleaner, beautiful views, many shops, a bench along the way. If you get the right to go to Kata too, we don't really like it there. We went to lunch at Pedro Corn. As you left the hotel, you go to the right to the big intersection, then to the right again, about 200 m.

If you need a small, cozy, clean hotel on the beach, then Ibis Kata is an excellent choice! Yes, the breakfast variety is small. Yes, a small area.

The night market of Kata is 2-3 minutes walk. Pancakes and ice cream are served near the hotel. There is also a pharmacy there.

Nice hotel, close to the beach, 7 minutes walk. The cleaning is decent, there are beach towels that are easily changed once a day. There are 2 bottles of water, tea and coffee in the room daily. Before visiting Ibis, I didn't realize that my wife was taking care of me and nurturing me. Before that, all were 4 stars. The territory is not bad. Swimming pool, there is 1 billiard table on the ground floor. But you can wash your feet after the beach or the city only by going to the pool. In the evening, a minimarket is deployed on the adjacent min square. Fruits, snacks, beer, souvenirs. I saw massage therapists in tents by the pool, but I did not observe the excitement. The rooms are small. There are both bathing suits and a set of toilet towels in the room. TV has a couple of channels of our broadcasting. Each room has a balcony with 2 chairs and a mini table. Take 2 meters of rope and you can dry everything. There is no remote control from the air conditioner, the controls are on the wall. The food is exactly 3. You will not be hungry, but there is no variety either. Room cleaning for about 3. Even 20 baht practically does not correct the situation. Of course, a small amount to encourage the staff, but there are a lot of rooms. There is a shuttle to the beach, but its schedule was very inconvenient for us. We walked more, it's good for our health, and not so far. Overall, my wife and I would have put a solid, good three without stretching it.

A great hotel where we had a great rest for 2 weeks in March this year. The room has everything you need, clean, not musty. The breakfasts are quite varied (if you do not arrive 10 minutes before the end). There is even a shuttle service to the beach - it runs according to schedule, but we did not use it, we walked because it was not far away. The only negative for us is a lot of children…
Previously, I vacationed in three stars in Phuket, so there is something to compare it with. This is the best option so far

I stayed at this hotel 24 December with my family. The rooms are clean, cleaned every day, two swimming pools ( one deep and the other for children), in the evening at the exit of the hotel there is a local market with everything from alcohol to sweets) to the beach on foot in 10 minutes. Nearby there is everything you need for living (shops, an evening market with delicious and fresh food). Of course, there are shoals on the hotel, but they are not quoted...since you came to rest and the room is only needed for sleeping.

We had a family vacation in December 2024 from our hotel on 5 and hall! But if you live there, there are ants in the rooms, the rooms are not cleaned at all, the bed is changed very rarely! We had a vacation with small children 1 year old and 2.5 years old! A one-year-old was bitten by mosquitoes, so they don't bite in Siberia in the swamp, and then they had diarrhea and vomiting in the hospital for 2 days after the pool, respectively, the vacation was ruined, and in general, they were sorry for the little things, they even had to give an extra towel for two children. I'm silent about the water, the food for children is not suitable at all and monotonous every day It's the same thing every day.

The disadvantage is small rooms, a single-leaf wardrobe, with hangers nailed to the crossbar, it is impossible to pull out hangers, it is very difficult to hang several things on one hanger! They clean well. Two glass, branded water bottles are given daily. Convenient location, everything is nearby: Kata beach 10 minutes on foot, bus stop 7 minutes on foot, market with food and clothes 2 minutes, second market with food and fruits 5 minutes, supermarket 15 minutes, Karon beach 20 minutes on foot. There is a transfer from the hotel to Kata beach.

I stayed at the hotel from March 30 to April 10. Pegasus tour operator. The weather was great all the time, +34 and no rain. The sea is warm, waves, jellyfish every other day. Surfers every day. I went to the southern Kata. There are a lot of people. From civilization, only sun beds and umbrellas of 200 Baht each.
I really liked the hotel. The number was 466. All even-numbered rooms overlook the pool. The building is marked with the letter "G". Odd numbers look either at the street, the evening sun, or at the construction site.
There is a kettle and a tea and coffee set in the room. A large towel, a small one and a foot towel. Green for the pool. Safe, refrigerator, air conditioning. Two glass bottles of water. They cannot be taken out. New ones are put in place of the empty ones. Hand soap, shampoo and gel. Flip-flops like flip-flops. Attention! There are umbrellas at the reception. You can take to the beach from the sun. I only found out on the last day.
The breakfasts are not very good. Rice this way, rice that way. Pasta. Rice soup with chicken every day (I never took it). Ham, sausages. Greens, sauces, yogurt. Milk, muesli. Tea, coffee, fruits. Watermelons every day. Bread for toast, bread casserole, juices.
I changed the water and towels myself at the maid's. They clean for a long time, you come up in the hallway and change them.
I tried to insert a USB flash drive into the TV. You can't!
There is a balcony, a small dryer, I always take a rope with me. Two chairs and a table. You can smoke on the balcony.
There is billiards and tennis downstairs. Two pools. Children and adults. The water is almost hot.
There is a transfer to the beach, north Kata. The schedule is not convenient. I didn't use it.
This is my third time in Phuket. I took the bus myself for 40 Baht to the "Festival" and to the Old Town.

The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean, breakfast - you will not stay hungry, there is enough of everything. You can relax with children. The location is super three beaches nearby. The only thing in Phuket is that not all travel agencies can find a minivan transfer to the airport and if you're lucky they charge 300 baht, and from the airport to Kata, etc. 200 baht. Now, after the pandemic and the opening of borders, many shops have closed and the tourist area has become larger, but this does not affect the rest.

There is a queue of "a kilometer" for coffee in the morning, the guides themselves say they have been fighting for at least a second coffee machine for 6 years, the hotel does not react. The hotel is really tired. The rooms are small. There are no shelves or hooks, but there is a wall-mounted beer opener. Beach towels are already worn out. The beach is 15 minutes away, bypassing the first line hotel.

We stayed at this hotel from March 30 to April 8, 2024. The hotel is 3*, good three, normal rooms, clean, we didn't have enough lockers :). The breakfasts are good, the staff is helpful, in general everything is quite decent. It is well located, everything is lively around, there are many cafes, shops nearby, pharmacies. To the sea, 7-10 minutes at a calm pace. I recommend it to those who have an economy budget.

My review is mostly about room cleaning. The floor was washed only once. They washed the middle only, of course, and so that it dried in this local humidity for another 2 days. On other days, they just sweep, mostly from the middle to the wall, where our shoes, suitcases, and beach accessories are just standing. Changing the bed is generally a separate story: They stupidly tuck the same bed back under the mattresses so that we have something to do and pull out half of the blanket from under the mattress. The bed is wet, it needs to be changed daily, they don't even tuck it back in, it already stinks all over. If you don't go in the hallway to get other clean towels, they are the same as they were, they will be rolled back wet and hung up. To wash the toilet and sink is generally out of the realm of fiction. You shouldn't even think about the balcony, especially about the ashtray. Dust is not wiped, it is especially visible in a dense layer on dark surfaces. Cleaning of the bathroom will probably be done only after our departure, I do not know. In order not to wipe the toilet, they open its lid so that the streaks and hair behind it are not visible. In general, a three or a five does not matter in terms of service, it is a global network and cleaning should be standard in my opinion.
