Since 2014 it became dirty, decrepit hotel with stinky rooms and annoying staff.
The good things are location and price .
Can't say anything about food and swimming pool, haven't visited this time.
We just returned from the UAE. We stayed at this hotel for a week. Everything that is written about the hotel is true. Great location. Close to shops, metro. Getting to any place is no problem. We visited the Flower Park and the Golden Frame on our own. Attentive and friendly staff. We checked in earlier (at 10.30), when leaving after 12 we left our things in the luggage room. The flight was late, the transfer was completed in the lobby of the hotel without any problems. The hotel and rooms are clean. Water was brought daily. Towels were changed every other day. We ate at the hotel restaurant-we took breakfasts and dinners. The food is monotonous, but you can always choose what to eat. We cooked fish well for dinner. From fruits - apples, melon, watermelons, sometimes there were pieces of kiwi, grapes, strawberries and blueberries in sliced salad bowls. For dessert - 2 types of cakes, 2 types of cupcakes and croissants. Apple, pineapple and orange juice. Tea and coffee. A transfer to the beach is organized. But the record is for the day. Check-out at 9.30, then check-in at another hotel, people were picked up there and from the beach at 14 or 15 o'clock. We took them to Al Mamzar beach, Then we chose a paid one (5 dirh)for admission to the park or free of charge. In my opinion, the transfer to the beach is the weak link of the hotel. It took a lot of time to check into another hotel. Sometimes it came to swearing-when people signed up, but there were not enough seats on the bus. There is a swimming pool, but they did not reach it, they gave out towels by the pool, which they allowed to take to the beach. I liked the hotel, I recommend it.
In general, the hotel corresponds to its stardom.
What I liked: a decent buffet, timely cleaning with the renewal of water bottles, stable wi-fi throughout the hotel, stable pressure of hot and cold water.
What I didn't like: there was no Russian-speaking staff, there were no disposable slippers by default, I had to ask, there was no possibility of warming up my food, a shower cap, disposable toothbrushes, any kind of blanket. The pillows were hard and did not contribute to the natural position of the neck. The windows do not open, as a result of which there are a large number of bird waste products on their outer surface. The air conditioner realized what was required of it (to warm up the room) only on the third day. The shower room has a cold floor and there is no foot mat. A closet without doors with hangers bolted to the crossbar, which does not allow them to be removed and clothes straightened
I have already been there three times, it is located next to the novotel, from the lounge of one you can easily go to the lounge of another (with a higher quality level). There are almost always several admins at the counter, there is a separate table for tour services. The breakfasts are quite modest, but here the taste and color, sometimes, do not change the finished dish for a long time. Ibis guests can freely visit the pool on the roof of the novotel, the water is icy, there are sun beds, but the area is not extensive, modest. There is a restaurant with alcoholic drinks and a bar (separately, you can smoke in it), also next to the restroom there is an exit to the street - a smoking area, tables / ashtrays / music-everything is there, but crows are often on duty there, especially for breakfast. Another problem with the keys is that at the end of the rest they are demagnetized 2 times a day. Cleaning every day, standard rooms have a small toilet + cabin. There is almost always a taxi near the exit. The guards are kind, they greet / nod. No special frills, norms, clean /fresh
We arrived before chekin - we settled in instantly and without questions. A clean modern hotel, good room service - the bed is changed every day, a bottle of water per person per day. I didn't have enough porridge for breakfast, though. The buffet consists mainly of local dishes, unusual for Russians. Stable, fast Wi-Fi. The pool is beautiful, heated 12x8x1.5, the entrance is through a shared lounge with the Novotel, because it is one network (perhaps that's why it pulls not three stars, but all five). Attentive and friendly staff. The ideal location is the best in Deira: Deira city center, day to day, gift land (the best chain discounters), Carrefour Supermarket, metro station - all within walking distance (5 min). Next to the Tibba restaurant, we ate together for 70 dirhams. You can take a cool lunch (buffet) at the hotel for 65 dirh/person. Deira city center has an exchange and an Etisalat communication salon. We bought a 4 GB tourist SIM card for 79 dirhams. The average Internet consumption for messengers and Internet surfing is about 1 GB per day, so after 4 days we came to the salon and replenished it with another 4 GB. The Internet was always at hand. They called Russia via video via Botim, even from the beach. Daily transfer to Al mamzar beach at 09.30, back at 14.00. You can also take a taxi for 15 minutes (Yandex taxi, charges 43 dirhams from the linked ross card. If you catch it on the street, with your hand, it's twice as cheap). The check-out was at 12.00, but the transfer to the airport was very late, the bags were handed over to the luggage room. Several times, we returned, finished packing our purchases, rested in the lounge at the reception. I recommend it to everyone!
The convenient location is close to many Indian cafes, a shopping center and most importantly a metro station. The department has an outdoor swimming pool. Of the minuses, there are very poor brews, but there is delicious coffee. The windows in the rooms do not open at all! Recommendation, if you take a taxi at the hotel with them, you can and should trade at the end of the auction, the driver will open uber and show that a taxi will cost the same, then you should agree and go cheaper will not leave
Great hotel, there is breakfast, next to the shopping center, great location!
Highly recommend it! You can call a taxi and go to the beach, have a great time!
Wonderful hotel! I will definitely come back again. The guys at the reception are polite and responsive. All issues are resolved quickly. Checked in at 9.30. On the day of departure, the transfer was at 15.30. I asked to stay in the room until 14.30. They said "No problems! ")) They don't seem to speak Russian, but English is needed everywhere in Dubai. The sockets in the rooms are English, for three plugs, but I found out from the reviews, I brought an adapter. And you can take it to the reception.
Metro in 3-4 min walk. Bus to Al Mamzar Beach C15. On the side of the exit from the subway exit 2. Goes according to schedule, back in the afternoon may be delayed due to traffic jams. There is also a Deira City Centre bus station. You can go to Sharjah.
The area around the hotel itself is clean.
I recommend it!
A budget hotel, well worth the money. Of the advantages, there is a metro station nearby, a large shopping center, budget cafes with an Indian bias, but tasty and not for long. The rooms are clean and cozy. Of the disadvantages, a meager breakfast, the windows from the room do not open at all, you have to use only air conditioning. The hotel has a swimming pool on the 2nd floor.
A perfectly good hotel for 3*. There is a nice mall across the street, near the metro. The furniture in the rooms is old, without frills, but everything is functioning. They check in without waiting for 14 hours, and give the opportunity not to leave the room immediately at 12.00. Good breakfasts, dinners are not varied, you could change dinner for lunch at 4 * (hotels as one chain, across the aisle). You need to take a taxi to the beach. Overall, a good hotel.
I've been to the hotel twice. Not a bad hotel. Located across the wall with a 4* hotel. There is a swimming pool. Sun beds. Transfer to the beach. Nice bar, delicious beer. Good food, prices like everywhere else. The breakfasts are standard. Minus - the window does not open in the rooms. Across the street is Deira City Center. Like 4 globes in size... interesting shops, cheaper than in DubayMall.
It was my first time in this hotel. The staff is very friendly, polite. There is a shared swimming pool on the territory of two hotels. Responsible cleaning daily. The food is always fresh and delicious, for every whim. We will definitely come back again and recommend it to our friends.
The hotel has a good location. Close to metro and shopping center. The breakfasts are ordinary, you won't stay hungry. There are a lot of very spicy dishes for dinner. The rooms are small, there is absolutely nowhere to dry a swimsuit and towel. You need to sign up for a bus to the beach for the day, they take you at 9.30, they pick you up at 15.00 is not very convenient.
Today, 02.08.2023, I am on vacation at this hotel, the Ibis Hotel Citi Centre 3*. And I declare that the declared transfer with a delivery to the beach!!!, this is absolutely a disaster! Transfer is provided by Novotel. But upon arrival, you should have a big fight at the reception and also contact your tour operator, who will assure you that tomorrow there will definitely be a transfer to the beach. In the meantime, it is: in the garage / does not work / does not open. Yes, the shuttle is at the entrance, but it does not open!!!
So I understand that one / two / three people- the shuttle does not go to the beach. And also does not go on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, because "women's day" and the transfer to the beach these days "does not work"!
Convenient location close to the airport and shopping center. Good for a business trip. Pool one for 2 hotels, novotel and ibis. The rooms in the novotel are much larger. In the ibis, there is enough for one. The service is excellent.
Standard for Ibis, everything is at a minimum, everything is fine. The location is good, near the metro and shopping center.
The "combination" of two hotels turned out to be unexpected - from the lobby of one to get to the other (Novotel) - just go through the bar.
There is a swimming pool (entrance again from another hotel), on the second floor.
They take you to the beach, you have to sign up for a free shuttle. Not close, almost an hour, they stop at another Ibis.
A cozy room, but it was stuffy due to the fact that the windows did not open and all the ventilation of the room was carried out by air conditioning.
Mold was noticed on the faucet in the shower.
Otherwise clean, convenient location near the metro, wonderful breakfasts. Every day they brought 3 bottles of water, so it was enough for the whole day.
P.S. the sockets are British everywhere, but the hotel staff kindly presents adapters, so there were no problems with charging the devices.
The hotel is clean, conveniently located, close to the metro. There is a large shopping center nearby, and there is a fairly large store with low prices. There are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
The rooms are small and darkish. Quite simple, for a few days of norms. For a vacation, I want something more comfortable.
Were during the pandemic
Dubai is a 100% safe city
The hotel has observed all anti-smoking measures
Very clean, near the metro station
The only negative is that the windows did not open, there is no balcony
The hotel is very conveniently located next to the Deira City Centre shopping center and the metro station of the same name. Thanks to this convenient location, you can easily use the metro to get to any place. And in the shopping center you can make good purchases or have a snack.
The hotel itself provides quite good breakfasts from 6 to 10 in the morning. There are eggs, rice, pasta, vegetables, fruits, pastries, very tasty juices, tea, coffee.
The rooms are very clean, cleaning is done every day. Most of all, I liked the comfortable beds in the room. I didn't even want to get up from them.
Free Wi-Fi is provided to residents of the hotel.
A big plus of the hotel is also that a free shuttle to Al-Mamzar Beach and back is provided daily. You just need to make an appointment at the reception in advance.
For travelers who want to relax in cozy rooms for a small price, this hotel, I think, is an ideal option.
The perfect location is a great idea to use the pool in a nearby hotel. There were problems with the transfer to the beach due to lack of space on the bus. Otherwise a great hotel and staff.
Excellent location near metro supermarkets, service is not at the highest level, windows do not open in the rooms, which is why the smell is not very pleasant
