Thank you very much for your help Diana!!! Diana was always in touch and was very kind to us!! she is by far the best and most responsive person in this hotel ❤️ All issues were resolved through her 👍🏻 We are very glad that we chose the star prestige category
The hotel is on the first line of the beach. Large clean warm pools. A magnificent wide long and beautiful beach. The ocean is infinitely beautiful and pleasant.
The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, but not everything works.
A large communal restaurant. Lots of mussels.
3 A la carte restaurants: Spanish, Cuban and Japanese.
The ocean is so beautiful that my children, for whom vacation is a pool, swam only in it.
We recently vacationed in Cuba at the Iberostar Bella Vista Hotel. The rest turned out to be wonderful, the ocean, beautiful views. It is very beautiful and very hot, but the Atlantic Ocean is unique.
There was a wonderful guy at the hotel, Alexander, a public relations specialist. He helped me find my mobile and made my vacation really special. I'm thinking of visiting this place again as soon as possible! Dear readers, the only hotel to visit in Cuba is definitely the Iberostar Bella Vista!)
I really liked everything. The rooms are not super chic in terms of finishing materials. At times it resembles the Soviet Union) but the rooms are spacious, and this is quite enough for a vacation. The staff is extremely polite. I didn't like the fact that I took a room with one large bed, but after three days of going to the reception, they never gave me such a room and I spat on going to the reception and lived in a room with two smaller beds. The food is quite decent. I had more than enough variety of food. There is a queue for scrambled eggs in an ordinary restaurant, as if they were not hoping for scrambled eggs at home. For that, in the restaurant on the 11th floor for the elite (and I rested like the elite), the waitress brought the eggs without waiting in line. The ocean is beautiful! In the evenings, discos are entertained on as many as two sites - in the courtyard as well as in the theater of the hotel, which is located in the neighboring building. There's a ballet ballet - dancers in Cuban costumes are very beautiful. The show is great. You need to take a lot of chocolates with you, and it is necessary to make them Russian. There is practically no chocolate in Cuba, and the rest is the same) the locals love Russian chocolate. It goes well instead of tips. More money is valued, because in Cuba you can't buy anything even for money, well, except cigars and rum) any medicines, women's tights go as a more valuable currency as tips and just gifts. The rooms with gifts were cleaned flawlessly and made a bunch of swans out of towels. Do not buy cigarettes and rum in the official store in the hotel for tourists because everything there is exactly five times more expensive than in Varadero, for example. Cigarettes for a pack of 5 bucks instead of one dollar. I recommend the hotel to everyone. I did not regret choosing this hotel.
The hotel didn't make much impression on me. Not the worst, but I didn't expect anything outstanding. They do not go to Cuba for a high level of service, it simply does not exist here.
The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and that was the end of the positive moments. The pool turned out to be shallow, and only foreigners swam in it, while Russians preferred to spend time on the beach.
The beach was beautiful, and that was the only positive thing about my stay here.
The food in the restaurant turned out to be terrible. The cooks even managed to spoil fresh cucumbers, rice and chicken, and the dishes seemed to be washed without detergent.
Forgive me for being frank, I'm not a very demanding person, but what I was offered at this hotel was impossible to eat. How can fresh vegetables, rice and chicken be so spoiled? It's just unbelievable. And why, if the hotel is located next to the ocean, is there no seafood in the restaurant?
The staff was friendly and welcoming, as they are everywhere in Cuba.
A colleague in public relations, Alexander Vesely, is very responsive and has solved our problem with our problems. Javier and Rosy are very good employees, they are responsive, they do their job perfectly. Thank you for your hard work
We went on vacation as a couple from 23.04-04.05. The impressions are very good, the hotel is on solid 4. In order, I will tell you about + and -.
1. The hotel is not bad. It can be seen that the furniture is worn out, there has been no restoration since the opening (2017), half of the elevators are not working, you need to wind kilometers to get from the room to the restaurant and lobby. Upon check-in, they offered to pay extra for the view, they paid $ 180 (for a pool view), but we had a gorgeous full-size side ocean view, as well as $ 200 could be paid extra for a profile ocean view, and get a prestige bracelet. But we didn't need it. If you want such a bracelet with your buns, it is better to take it immediately through a travel agent when booking a trip, it will be cheaper this way. The territory of the hotel is not large, but clean. The staff does not speak Russian, knows a couple of catchphrases and that's it.
2. Restaurants and bars. We constantly hung out in the lobby, it worked until one o'clock in the morning, a crowd of people gathered there in the evenings, served first those who tipped, then everyone else, but the bartenders and waiters were friendly to everyone, there was no bias. There was also a 24-hour snack bar on the territory, where they give quite good burgers, a pool bar and a beach bar worked in the afternoon until 18:00. A separate respect to the bartender at the beach, the guy made cool cocktails, always joked and communicated with us. The alcohol is VERY good, beer, vodka, whiskey (even Jameson), rum, tequila, gin, etc. - everything is of good quality, there was no local stuff. The cocktails were also not bad, but sparsely with soft drinks: the juices are delicious, but, as for cola and other soda, so-so. If you want tequila, there will be no lime and salt, so stock up on lime on fish days, and take salt from the canteen. In two days we tried everything we could, settled on gin and lemonade - I recommend it) Well, the most important thing is to take thermo mugs with you, it saves a lot!
3. The beach is a separate love, for this, in general, we went. The ocean is warm, clean, and unreal in color. The beach area is not large, generally clean. There were days when there was a strong wind and a little garbage was scattered on the beach, and people, of course, littered (cigarette butts, cups from the bar). They practically do not clean, they cleaned 1 time in 11 days, and then by May 1. The all-inclusive system includes sailing on catamarans, as well as sailing on sailboats for a fee (I don't know what they are called :)). They also sell coconuts once a week for 1%, they were not bad. It's not far to the beach, we had a room right at the entrance to the beach (extreme), so it was convenient.
4. Swimming pools. We swam 2 times during the whole vacation, there was no buzz in them at all. There are 3 swimming pools on the territory (a children's pool with small slides, a pool with a bar and just a pool right there, but the same. The one with the pool is always full of Canadians who don't come out at all! You pass by, it stinks of urine, so I didn't really want to be in them, and in general they are very warm, especially in the evening, like in a frog house.
5. Animation. It's not enough. On Thursdays, there was all the party: live music in the lobby and shows in the evenings, retro cars were displayed on the territory during the day, and food was cooked outside on the grill. You can go to the show a couple of times, but it was almost always the same. There was no entertainment for children. There was yoga on the beach in the morning, then dancing, and then people played volleyball or football. There was some kind of entertainment in the pool during the day, contests, etc. There is also a tennis court and a gym on site. The gym is small, but you can find something to do.
6. Food. The most exciting topic. I must say right away - it's not bad! You will definitely not starve, but everything is monotonous every day. When there was something worthwhile and tasty, queues accumulated, as if from a hungry edge) There were always enough dishes and appliances. Vegetables are delicious with a pull, fruits - except pineapple, it's not even worth trying anything there. But there are plenty to choose from and everything is quite edible. There was no seafood, except fish, but it is cooked leftover well. The water is not bad in the hotel, they pour boiled water from the tap. She's good there in Varadero. But I do not recommend buying bottled water outside the territory - laxative)
7. The Internet. It works well, without complaints. but! He has a limit, stops working - go for a new login at the reception. Where there is a large crowd of people, it does not work. We connected roaming via the Russian tariff, used messengers anywhere, and used the Internet on Instagram. It doesn't catch on the beach.
8. Cleaning. Well , they clean up , if they clean up at all) They sweep, the floor is rarely washed, the bed linen was changed 1 time during the entire vacation, towels were changed every day. And all this despite the fact that something was left every day (chocolate, office, $ 1). But every time swans were beautifully made on the bed) Sometimes they forgot to pour water, or give toilet paper, they had to run after them, well, or get it themselves) By the way, there are problems with toilet paper all over Cuba, so I recommend taking it with you)
Well, a little digression: take 80spf of cream with you if you do not want to burn out by the first days, and even more in the following. 50 is about nothing at all, checked) Take medicines for all occasions, you won't find anything there. Thermo mugs are a must! For a tip to the staff - the office, they will sell their soul for medicines, things for girls (hairpins, elastic bands), and if you get out on excursions - something for children, there are a lot of them, running around on the heels of tourists. Sauce for food is optional. Toilet paper or wet wipes.
For the first time in Cuba, the hotel is just the thing. But they wouldn't have come back a second time.
Oh, I don't even know. The beach at the top hotel, top pools, a gym for 3 points, restaurants at the hotel with Creole cuisine, Italian can be visited, I do not advise Japanese. The restaurant on the top floor is available only to those with prestige status (white bracelet) but many times we saw how people cheated and came with the red ones unfolded with the white side) at the top of their bar. They also serve lobster, the waiters know English from prestige, the bartenders know Russian a little bit. They make top-end cocktails, and if you leave tea, they will do all sorts of cool things for you, more rum in a cocktail, or swans from towels, serve you faster. There are many people from Canada on vacation in the hotel, Mexico, Russians where 20 percent. We had a prestige status and therefore a special person was attached to us, who found out how we rest and made restaurant reservations for us. But there are disadvantages: the hotel is 5 stars, and there were no toothbrushes, there was no paste, there were problems with this in Cuba. The beach towel was not brought to us immediately, we had to order it at the reception. In my opinion, this is strange. A room with an ocean view is right in the center of the hotel on the 8th floor, but in the evenings they organized a disco, where few people danced, and the music screamed loudly, I did not immediately get used to it. The main disadvantage is the overall cleanliness and condition of the furniture. It has long been necessary to at least paint or whitewash the walls there. And this is another one of our most expensive rooms, which I'm afraid to imagine in others. In general, the hotel is good, the staff is not in a hurry, but apparently people are not evil. We have found a contact together. Perhaps it's because of the tip or the white ribbon on his hand. The hotel has a 24-hour bar where you can always have a snack if you are late for dinner or lunch, breakfast. We were at the President hotel in Havana, there are no disadvantages in bela Vista, although there are 4 stars there, and bela has 5. Yes, there is also a buffet for everything, breakfasts, lunches and dinners, a beach bar. All drinks are free, but I recommend that you take prestige from yourself right away, the difference is not very big, in price, but bonuses in the form of tranquility and lack of queues and your bar is worth it
Good afternoon!
I very rarely write reviews, but it boiled over ...
I'll start with the fact that when checking in, the young man at the reception very, well, very much offered (for an additional fee) to move to another room.
We refused and went to check into the room that we had.
Unfortunately, the door did not close in the room, there were no towels and the TV was not working. They called the master to fix the problem with the door, waited a very long time (about an hour), but finally he came and the problem remained. As a result, our room was changed.
The room was changed, but ...
Everything is beautiful in the picture, but when you actually check in, you see all the flaws - absolutely dead rooms, air conditioning does not work, everything is very dirty, towels are not changed, and the bathroom is generally a separate topic ...
In general, the first impression of the hotel was spoiled immediately ...
They position themselves as 5*, but there will be too much 3 * ...
As for nutrition, everything is fine with that, we had enough, alcohol flows like a river (for whom it is important).
Well, the ocean, it turned out that you couldn't swim almost the whole vacation ...
The sun was shining, but there were almost always clouds and all this was accompanied by a strong wind ...
In general, who doesn't care about comfort in terms of rooms, the hotel is suitable, but I advise you to think very carefully before choosing it...
The hotel is super not only for Cuba. Excellent territory, ocean views, food and drinks are excellent even for Europe, animation is on the level, a good fitness room and sports grounds. It is more focused on family and relaxing holidays, but you can go to Varadero for a drive, not far away.I recommend
We had a vacation with our family in the second half of August 24. To say that we are disappointed with the condition of the hotel is to say nothing. The hotel is simply dead. The photo shows the condition of the room in which we were checked in. We flew Anex, I don't know, maybe this tour operator has such a pool of rooms, or all tour operators have the same story. From the good - the hotel team is trying to solve problems, the views are very good, the ocean is great, nature is a bomb. If it weren't for such sleazy rooms, even meager food could be tolerated. The hotel has a maximum of 3 stars.
Two adults and three children aged 5 , 8, 14 were vacationing in Varadeo, at the Bella Vista Hotel from June 1 to June 12, 2024.And it was hard on the plane, of course, for 14 hours, but we took foot pillows with us and the children slept on them, and we had four seats in the middle of the plane, which is convenient. The standard meal on the plane is only lunch, so you can take a Doshirak with you. Boiling water, plain water is distributed constantly without restrictions. There are no blankets on the plane, it was cool sometimes, you can take it with you.
Upon arrival, there is only one security check, the queue is of course wow, but the Cubans let us through without a queue with the children, and plus an individual transfer to the hotel, of course, grace. We didn't expect the whole crowd of 500 people....
We have a family room. These are two standard rooms next to each other and a door between them)) We were given a view of the road (it is dead-end and not noisy), and some structures are not clear. And they offered to change it for 350 euros to a room with a sea view. We refused. It's quite noisy there, since all the animation, all the bars are on that side.
The time zone, of course, affects. The main thing is not to go to bed before 22.00 and at lunch, in the heat, sleep until 16.00, 17.00 no more. And literally in two, three days we rebuilt.
The room is tired, but normal. There are no living creatures. The towels are white, hotel, decent and Beach and numbered. With a shower in one room, there were problems switching to a rain shower, but the convenience of the family is that there is another bathroom))) We took a rope and clothespins, they came in handy. There is no place to dry at all, so they pulled the cord themselves and did not know the troubles))).
Cuba is struggling with plastic, so the cups are paper and small! Everyone goes with brake cups, it is convenient and environmentally better. The bar quietly pours any volume, any drinks. Animation on the beach. The guys try their best, volleyball every day, yoga, beach soccer. There is no animation for children during the day, only in the evening. You can leave your child at the baby club.
The beach is gorgeous, the sea is warm, the waves are super. Cigarette butts are lying around in places. But it's people's fault, the pigs.. There are a lot of sun loungers, there is no point in taking them, and no one did it.
There is a villa dupon in Varadero - it is now a golf club. , a very beautiful view from the third floor there is a bar and you can book a ticket to the museum for 3 euros per person for this villa.
Be sure to walk along the beach line to the wells Where you can see the ocean. There is also a swing in the melia hotel area. And the American Plaza shopping center is literally a kilometer from the hotel along the beach line.
With food, of course, it's strained. But you won't gain extra kg)) There are few dishes, the assortment is minimal, the desserts are not tasty. But the ice cream is great, I really liked it. Mango is the tastiest of fruits, and pineapple, guava did not go in.
What came in handy: clothesline, clothespins, thermal cups, inflatable pillows for airplane legs, chocolate (wrapped foil, nothing melted,Cubans are very happy with chocolate, they cost $ 6 one tile) stationery, sunscreen 50+, inflatable circles (there are no inflatable products on the island)
Thank you very much! I highly recommend it. The staff is sincerely friendly. Everything is clean. The food is very good, I especially recommend the hotel restaurant of Cuban cuisine. And special thanks to our lovely concierge Diana!
A great hotel in the center of Havana, normal rooms, a pretty good breakfast, everything is very neat and clean! The hotel itself is in the very center of Havana, not the main square, basically nothing else to see there)
I really liked the hotel, in the top 10 best hotels on the coast. Only the food is a little lame. They don't know how to roast meat, but everything is super
The hotel has painted itself 5 stars, but at most it pulls 3 somewhere in Egypt.
It is located next to the motorway. The windows of the rooms overlook either the road with a view of the oil storage and round-the-clock traffic, or the sea, but for this you need to pay an additional $ 10 per person per day. But don't be too happy- fans of hanging out in bars also like to yell sitting on the terraces under your windows.
The beach is not what you think about varadero with 10 km long, here it is closed between stone ledges less than 1 km wide - you can't walk around and the view stops.
The right wing goes out to the disco - hello to all those who want to go to bed before 23 at night - clanging and crashing, closed windows will not help. The staff doesn't care about the noise, the disco continues until the last customer, they won't move you.
The stated daily shows start with setting up microphones and equipment, and what is "amazing" is always the sound is disgusting, although the ballet and the singers are good
The kitchen here is something special, for 7 days the meat from the oven has never been cooked according to the mind- it is tough, the same applies to fried on the plates. It seems that the dishes are not checked for readiness in any way. The range of dishes is poor. Slicing only of "cheeses" in quotes and sausages and such that "it" cannot be eaten. Vegetable - green tomatoes, stone cucumbers and everything without taste!- and this is in a rural country where it grows by itself. I was saved only by papaya and mussels.
Desserts, guys, can't be described without a mat at all. By the way, the wine list is the same without a nose and taste - the cheapest thing in Cuba.
The distribution is combined in one small room with braziers - smoke, fumes and queues ...
About bars and cocktails - queues, and they cook when and how... Guys are doing better.
Ala-kart restaurants for show, even worse, no -much worse,
than the main one- don't waste time.
The beach restaurant is generally closed.
I tried the "hamburger" in the snack bar.... (here is an obscene word)
The territory is landscaped for 3, the paths are paved with w/b slabs,
I did not check the pools - to swim in chlorine when there is an ocean...
Common areas are not washed , there is dirt and dust in the corridors
The furniture in the halls and dining room is dead, sofas and armchairs are from the "I'll give it away for free" category
, But there is a + in this hotel, these are the rooms themselves. The interior is in a minimalist style, a large area, normal furniture, a good mattress, lighting, fairly fast Internet, room cleaning is quite normal, in general the room corresponds to the description. You can put a star for this.
From sports games, there is ping pong, tennis- table / playground / rackets - crying.
I would not recommend this hotel to those who have an idea of quality rest and good cuisine
The hotel is terrible, old and dirty, the staff is very lazy and there is a complete lack of service, they can do something for just a dollar. There is nothing to eat on the buffet, the fruits are all green and monotonous. The only thing that pleased me was the beach and the ocean - gorgeous!
It seems to me that this hotel is not in the photo. In general, there are no complaints about the hotel - the beach is excellent, even if not big. 4 swimming pools. There are enough sun beds. The rooms are spacious, cleaning every day. Lots of greenery.
The fact that there are problems with the range of food is rather not the fault of the hotel, but the problem of the country as a whole. Classic Cuban cocktails will not always be prepared for you either - there will simply be no ingredients.
We rested at this hotel on 29.04 to 11.05.24. There are problems with food. 1 type of meat and 1 type of fish for which you need to stand in line until everyone is fried. There were two potatoes. The situation is slightly better in Ala carte restaurants. The elevators worked for 2 days. From the 7th floor, they carried their suitcases up the stairs themselves. There is animation, a children's club and a children's disco. The door opening system often broke down. We sat with the child under the door for 30 to 50 minutes to get into the room. For many, the doors did not close at all. In general, I do not recommend the hotel.
A wonderful hotel, but despite the fact that it is not old, the rooms are quite tired, but this is one minus. The staff is positive and friendly, the food is always there, varied with seafood. The beach is clean, you can see the fish in the ocean. The rum is gorgeous. Great animation. Beautiful rooms with sea views, the sunsets are amazing. The rest left only positive memories.
I write a lot in hot pursuit .
1. The food is acceptable for Cuba ( papaya , ice cream , morning cookies - that's delicious), there is meat and fish , but the taste is specific. Cheeses , sausages , ham , side dishes , what I do not recommend . It 's better to drink water , the juices all resemble braga 🤔
2. The ocean and nature are great
3. Interesting excursions
4. The most unpleasant thing is the dirt in the rooms. Since the child is allergic , I had to do the cleaning myself , iron the laundry , because it was not possible to achieve high - quality cleaning 🐊
The ocean and the beach are perfect! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The bar, bartenders and alcohol are excellent!
Food, you will not stay hungry!
Of the minuses, room cleaning and elevators that work according to your mood!
The hotel is super. There are no problems with fruits and seafood for lunch and dinner. The staff is polite. The beach is a little small for so many vacationers. Strong drinks rum, whiskey, tequila are on the level. The rooms are a little tired, of course. Snack bar around the clock. A coconut is given for a tip at the exit to the beach.
When we were traveling, many people advised him, including tour operators. I still don't understand why, but someone took rooms upstairs for 18+ and there's a separate dining room on the roof, it seems better there. We were with a child and there was no chance for us to get there. By points: 1) formally, the food is what it is, but it's never Turkey or even Egypt, they cook tasteless (although I don't know where they cook in Cuba at all, even in restaurants it's crap, they just can't cook here, they don't understand how), plus the sanitation is complete. For example, from what he saw, a piece of meat falls from the cook on a dirty table, but he still puts it in a bowl in order to distribute it to the guests. 2. In the first room, there was just a specific smell of mold, in the second the door lock did not work, the safe and there were problems with plumbing that were not solved during the entire stay. 3. The linen on the bed is washed, but everything is stained with some kind, the room as a whole is cleaned more or less. 4 the hotel itself is packed specifically. The dirt in the elevator, on the stairwell lay from the moment of arrival to departure. 5. The general service is so-so, put everything on the guests, if you want to change something, tip them. 6. in a bar without tips, they pour everything the cheapest, but this is generally not the only way here. But cocktails suck completely, Although Eurobabs and grandfathers just like everything, it's obvious. I bought myself a bottle of Rum and a Coke and did it myself))
The beach is normal, very straight, but this is hardly the merit of the hotel. Many Russians, with whom they rested, opened up just like us) I do not advise. But we went to friends and to a more expensive hotel and there is also no fountain there. In general, Cuba is not about hotels, you have to go here without waiting for service. But probably there are some super expensive and high-quality ones. This one is well, the top three European ones. But I put 2 for unsanitary conditions everywhere
All the negative reviews that are about this hotel are true. From the good - the beach and the gorgeous ocean

Nice hotel. The beach, the entrance to the sea, the territory. The ocean is wonderful!!! I liked the food more than in Turkish hotels, always beef, lots of seafood. The bars have a good selection. Cons, as everywhere in Cuban hotels, dishes are not always perfectly clean, linen is rarely changed.
The hotel is good for Cuba. The suites on the 10th floor are excellent. It makes sense to take the star prestige level.
The rooms on the ground floor with a swimming pool are shuffled with a transparent toilet and shower. A strange solution- not for everyone. The rooms may stink of bleach upon arrival.
I saw cockroaches in the restaurant downstairs
We had a rest in October 2023, they don't sell the Prestige service with a child. We chose this hotel because of the presence of children's water slides, but there is no water in them! This is not a joke, make no mistake. Among the advantages is a beach with white sand and a warm clean ocean. BUT, the beach is divided into two parts by calcareous (stone) ledges, before our eyes the boy was carried away by waves to them, rescuers reacted in time, we went to the neighboring beach; the beach is dirty- cigarette butts, napkins, paper glasses and much more, only algae was removed; there are a lot of sunbeds, but they are almost all old, there are few umbrellas - on there are not enough of them all; they got caught in the winds- there were waves; beach towels are not changed - in 11 days they managed to change only 1 time. Rooms- in general, the repair was, but so-so, bed linen with stains and holes, do not change. Restaurants-we only liked Japanese - cooked fried rice with beef and shrimp (although it was not possible to eat them, they were with sand). Toilets without paper and soap.
WiFi only in the room and reception, weak.
The food in general is terrible, we only ate scrambled eggs for breakfast, cookies, buns and ice cream. Coffee is only for breakfast, you won't ask for tea either. We didn't like the juices. The dishes are dirty and chipped. You need to stand in queues for fried meat and fish. Of the fruits, only papaya (for an amateur), pineapples are green and sour, a kind of watermelon is not edible. We ate only in Varadero restaurants. But the shock was the presence of cockroaches!! They are everywhere - in the room, on the floors, in the restaurant. I talked to the service employee many times, she smiles sweetly and writes everything down, but for example, a cockroach on the floor of a half-dead was cleaned for half a day.
Great hotel!!! Deserved 5 stars. Staff, service, grounds, beach, pools, restaurants and bars, food, rooms, animation, everything is great. Thank you, I really liked it!
We stayed at the hotel in November 2023. The service at the hotel was disgusting, there was practically no variety of food, there were no juices and carbonated drinks either - only rum! The rooms are old, the ants, the elevator waits a very long time and breaks all the time (there are 4 of them, but this did not change the situation). Ala carte restaurants have the same meager food as in the dining room. Of the advantages, I liked the Cuban soup and the perfect ocean.
The hotel is 3 stars. No more.
One plus: the beach and the ocean.
Everything else is a complete mess.
It's a pity that people are being deceived and told about the five. You need to talk right away, then the expectations will be real. Those who are new to traveling will come to them, and those who know the value of promises, of course, will be shocked.
From here, a trip to Cuba, just for once, no more
About this, good people, Soviet).
It's a pity that such a beautiful island lives in such restrictions.
God forbid, it will get better.
I stayed at this hotel from September 11 to September 25, 2023. The food is normal, you won't be hungry, the only thing is the arrangement of dishes is poorly organized. People are accumulating and it is difficult to approach the counter with the first course. The rooms are large in size. The linen was changed once a week. Towels on request. The staff is responsive, the animation is well done, they entertain vacationers all day and evening, participation is optional. Everything is decent and dignified. In the restaurant, the waiters try to serve quickly, but it does not turn out very quickly. So be patient.
The worst hotel of many and many in different countries. One piece of advice to the managers is to close the hotel for renovation! Everything is bad: damaged furniture from the reception area to the rooms; broken elevators; tasteless food and its poor choice; constant lack of toilet paper (😡🤦♀️); towels in the room that cannot be changed, despite requests (for two guests for 10 days - 1 small, 2 large and one for the legs (???); empty mini-bar; lack of bottled water (water in heavy glass dirty bottles-pins of terrible quality with a heavy unpleasant smell). And the main thing is the inability and unwillingness of the staff to do the cleaning (waving a terrible rag on a table in a bar or on the wall of a stained elevator does not mean to clean up!!!). And yet - a cockroach on a coffee pot in a restaurant is beyond the limit! And the quality of the coffee is disgusting! This is not coffee, but some kind of substance.. The words about the fact that this is Cuba, in my opinion, are not an excuse. The hotel is 5 stars, in fact, it is a stretch now to assign it only 1 star. Now it is suitable only for very undemanding and fastidious people. I strongly do not recommend it to those who are used to cleanliness and comfort.
Broken rooms, of course, cockroaches in the bar and birds flying in the restaurant....but this is Cuba, you shouldn't expect more from it! The beach is clean at the hotel, the territory of the hotel is also clean, the animation is there and not even bad. The hotel staff speaks and understands Russian, so if anyone does not know English well.Yaz or Spanish, you will be understood.

Pros: ocean and beach, volleyball, bartenders at the beach bar
Minuses: the food is mediocre, the choice is small (in fact, they erase everything among themselves and create the appearance of a large selection), the magnetic keys do not work periodically, on the last day they could not get into the room to pick up their luggage, because the lock just died, they waited 2 hours for the local Danilo master, who repaired it for another hour and a half; it's not clear why you can't just put water on the tables, but you need to beg for it from the waiters, who forget about it like fish.
Bottom line: you can go for the sake of the ocean, but not for the sake of service, there really isn't one here, and not because the country is poor and so on, but simply because no one needs anything here (10% of the staff really work great!)
If I go to Cuba next time, then not to the Iberostar hotels (they are all the same)
After reading reviews that there is nothing to eat, you need to take doshirak, ketchup and mayonnaise… That there are cockroaches everywhere and there is nothing to drink, too, except pure rum.... I was already preparing for the worst. But in fact, the hotel and the people working here are just wonderful. The employees are trying very hard, but maybe they don't know how to cook like Chef Ivlev, and they overcook a lot of things. But there is food here and there is a choice. Of course, this is Cuba, not Turkey. They come here for the stunning ocean, the sun and new experiences.
P.S. I have been to Turkey more than 15 times, mostly in premium hotels. You need to understand what and with what you are comparing.
And take a good mood!!!
The hotel clearly does not pull in 5 stars! We flew for a month from June 3 to 28, traveled with a large family and took three rooms, all rooms are the same +/-. There are a lot of mosquitoes, so take a remedy for them. The first disadvantage is that the rooms do not open the first time, you have to go to the reception every time and change the cards. The furniture is all very old, and the bed linen is dirty. The hotel itself is very dirty, the management does not follow it at all. The rooms are cleaned every day, which is good, but they put dirty towels with stains all the time. The food is not very good, cockroaches are crawling in the restaurant. The sea and the staff are the only plus in this hotel.
I put 5 points in advance, although there are nuances)) The beautiful ocean and friendly staff help to ignore these very nuances.
If the subject is: repairs are required at the hotel, towels are not enough, the beach is not as clean as we would like. Nutrition is a topic for a separate conversation. In general, if you are pedantic about your vacation, I recommend choosing another hotel. Nothing annoyed us. The rest was a success!

A thrash hotel, especially the food. They really feed you leftovers. They are simply mixed and served the next time. In other hotels, the food is normal, I talked with tourists. The territory is 100m, there is nowhere to go, to the bus stop and back 😅
The ocean is like an ocean, constant waves and wind in the eyes, and cocktails pour sand. The beach is public, like all beaches in Cuba. For 9 days, linen and towels were never changed, chocolates were left, but the result was zero. And so yes, everyone is smiling, everyone is kind like😁
Elevators are constantly breaking down, wifi only catches at the reception and in a side eatery, there is nothing in the rooms.
I went into the toilet by the pool, which almost threw up, as in the worst times at our train stations, well, you understand😂
If it weren't for the excursions, then you would have to travel across half the globe and get there.
The hotel is below average. We went in three, arrived, and were given a room with two beds. We went to the reception to sort it out, gave another room with one large bed, swore again, and eventually gave a broken room with a folding sofa.
(Broken:shower holder, shampoo holder, bathroom door, shower door + window between beds and shower, WHY)
The beach is not bad, the sea is clean and transparent.
There is not much food, mostly there is nothing to eat. The snack bar is modest, there is nothing either. Ala kart (I repeat, the staff is not Russian) somehow ordered, brought a fist-sized meal. The only thing that pleases is the bar with drinks.
In general, all the functions of the 5 stars are there, but the hotel itself is not. I don't recommend it.
One of the best hotels in this place, if you compare with others, if you do not forget that you are in socialist Cuba. But objectively, of course, if you abstract from this, it's not 5 * none and there are nuances: the food is not good every time, sometimes it's just not a fountain, the service is quite good, but the staff is spoiled by tips from Canadians, who are the majority there and whose income level is higher in general; rooms are more or less, but not without swollen doors, falling off shelves, etc.
The beach is very nice, the ocean is excellent.
There is animation, but I can't say what kind (the forces disappeared somewhere in the evening).
The bars are good, the drinks are decent and varied. You can sign up for three ala-kart restaurants.
The territory is not very large, but it is pretty.
In general, I like it, but not all of those I met there liked it as much as I did (I'm not too picky).
The hotel is terrible!!!
There is no food!
The rooms are dead and with the smell of mold!
The service is disgusting!
The staff is almost all relaxed!
The beach is great
Drinks and cuisine are very scarce, there is always something missing.
For 340k there should be a completely different service!
The hotel is not for Russian tourists. Dirty, the smell of sewage in the restaurant.
Mold in the bathroom, linen and towels are not changed. This is not a place for a $10,000 tourist for three in Cuba. The beach is not being cleaned, garbage is in the sand
Plus: the sea itself, for children, a gentle entrance, a calm sea.
There is something to see for fans of Che Guervara and the Cuban Revolution
Terrible hotel. If you want to spoil the impression of Cuba. Then here you are. The bed linen has not been changed for 10 days. Towels once. The hotel is aimed at eternally drunk Canadians. There is no rest at all. They scream and drink around the clock. The food is disgusting, monotonous. There is no seafood at all if you live below the 11th floor and you do not have a white bracelet. This is a separate category.
Very, very disappointed with the hotel. We chose a chain hotel, we thought they would keep the brand and name. But alas... I don't recommend it. This is not a 5ka , but a 3ka
Vacationed at this hotel at the end of September 2023. The food is terrible. The rooms are tired. The hood does not work, the whole kitchen and hall are in smoke. There is no service from the word at all. The flight is 14/15 hours. Of the advantages, only the beach. No more foot here. It is best to go to Turkey for this money!!!!!
The hotel is not 5 stars. There are cockroaches in the dining room, queues for food, you have to pay extra for a room with an ocean view. The ocean is very beautiful, this is the only plus.
