A wonderful cozy apartment museum, which, unfortunately, is not popular with tourists, since it is not "advertised" on tripadvisor and so on. Mstislav Rostropovich was born and lived here for the first 5 years of his life, and later every year he came to Baku at the invitation of Heydar Aliyev to give master classes to students and perform at the Philharmonic. He was also at the opening of this museum. There are many of his awards, diplomas, correspondence with G.Aliev, and several personal items, such as the tailcoat in which he conducted)
The girls-workers did not know Russian very well, and we did not know English very well, but together we understood each other) and they tried so hard to tell as much as possible about it a great man, for which I am very grateful!
The cost for two people together with the tour is only 9 manats! Visit, you won't regret it))
