We settled in this hotel together with a friend. We came on an excursion tour of Italy. We spent most of our time outside the hotel. But still, I would like to leave my feedback for those who are going to visit this hotel. Terrible service. Breakfast was included in our package. For breakfast every day there is only a biscuit and a cracker with jam and everything! After the people began to be indignant, oil was added! But all this pales in comparison with the fact that our room has not been cleaned for several days. The room already looks terrible, the mirror has a huge crack, whitewash is falling from the ceiling, towels were first terry, then waffle towels were distributed. And even of such quality that they seem to have just been cut off from the roll, not even hemmed!!!! On the second day of our stay, we went on an excursion and there a friend bought glasses of a famous brand, not cheap, the discounted price came out to 100 euros!!! They left a bag with glasses in the room. The next day they found out that the glasses were missing!!! Besides that, the spirits were gone! On the same day, the neighbor's money disappeared, and the next day, two more residents of this hotel lost their money!!! We complained to the administrator and the hostess, and received an answer that all valuables should be carried with you. Should we walk around with suitcases? After this incident, the room stopped being cleaned at all. When asked why, they replied that the cleaner was afraid to come in so that she would not be accused of theft!!! Well, it's just a shame! She goes there to work and her job is to clean the rooms, we eventually paid a lot of money for a ticket. I would like to at least live in a clean room. And what does the theft of things have to do with it? All the victims left a statement with the police of the city of Rimini and it is up to the police to find out who is to blame for the loss, and it is up to the maintenance staff to do their job for which they receive a salary. In general, we have the most unpleasant impressions of staying at this hotel, we do not recommend anyone to stay at the Villa Elisa hotel in Rimini!
How we were robbed at
the hotel... we were checked into the Villa Elisa hotel according to the tour program. We were provided with 103 rooms for accommodation. The hotel is listed as 3*, but does not correspond to this star rating, a maximum of 1.5 *. The hotel is old, in need of repair, very poor sound insulation. There were ants in our room. The plumbing in the rooms is old, the water in the shower was slightly warm. There is no refrigerator and safe in the room, there is no hair dryer in the bathroom, there is a TV with one channel in Italian. A modest continental breakfast is provided in the morning (sponge cake, packaged toast, jam, coffee, tea, sugar). Cleaning every day, no complaints. Towels were changed 1 time per week, bed linen was not changed. Wi-Fi in the hotel is only at the reception, there is free parking. The hotel is located a half-hour walk from the Old Town. The beach is about a four-minute walk away. There are cafes and small shops nearby, and a CONAD supermarket is a ten-minute walk away. There is a railway very close by, you can hear the noise and feel the vibration from passing trains. The accommodation is suitable for those who plan to spend all their time outside the hotel and who have minimal comfort requirements.
From 10.10. to 12.10.2018, our stay at the hotel was normal. From 13.10.- 14.10.2018 we left on our own for another region of Italy. According to the rules of this hotel, they left the key at the reception and warned the administrator (the Moldovan night porter Sergey) that we would return in a day. And when we returned, the strange behavior of the receptionist caught our eye, pretending to see us for the first time, although he had previously given us the room key as soon as we crossed the threshold of the hotel. Upon opening the room, we found the locks of one of the suitcases broken, the aquabox for the SONY X3000 camera was also missing from the shelf and it was visible that they were rummaging through the cabinets. Later, they also discovered that a bank card had been stolen. After informing the administrator about the incident, they did not receive any help. The receptionist refused to call the police and to the request to go up to the room. To all our indignation, he said that we did not give things to him for painting, and there was nothing to take in our room, and in general neither the police, nor the host party, nor the tour operator would deal with our problem. In general, the administrator's behavior was inappropriate and aggressive. All the goodwill disappeared and an arrogant boorish Moldovan appeared before us, who threatened to talk to us separately without witnesses outside the hotel. The question arises by itself, how does a person know that there is nothing to take in the room? By the way, the TV is still there.
On the morning of 15.10. we arrived at the office of the ITALCAMEL host party on our own and also notified the tour operator about the incident. The receiving party provided assistance in contacting and filing a police report. Of course, we understood that the suitcase could not be repaired and the things could not be returned...The police promised to take control of the hotel.
I really want the owners of the hotel to quickly understand who works at their reception. The advice to tourists is not to leave the equipment in the room and not to work on it in the lobby of the hotel, especially if there is a night porter at the counter.
From a conversation with other vacationers, we learned that the hotel staff had stolen souvenirs from the table in the room not so long ago.
