We are very pleased with our stay at the SabaHotel in August 2024. We lived from August 2 to August 8 in a double room with our son. Convenient location. The main thing is the most friendly and helpful managers at the reception and the butler. They communicated with us in fluent English and Russian. Many thanks to them for the feeling of support and security, they helped with all the questions and gave them the best mood!
The hotel is very cozy, there are many sofas in the lobby, a collection of intricate teapots, the interior is selected in a classic style. The room was quite compact in space, but it had everything you needed. The bathroom has new plumbing, everything is perfectly clean. Shower accessories and soap were found in a drawer under the sink. For breakfast, we went up to the 5th floor to the restaurant by elevator. The cook and the assistant heated milk on the gas stove for the baby every morning. A large selection of greens, vegetables, watermelon was offered every morning. A choice of salads, sliced cheeses and sausages, hot omelette, French fries and hot sausages, boiled eggs, hot fresh pastries from the chef! The cook knows Russian. Some of the tables are located on a very pleasant terrace overlooking the blue waters of the Golden Horn and the domes and minarets of the Blue Mosque. There was a feeling of relaxation in a familiar favorite place.
Walking distance to the main attractions: hippodrome, Sultan Ahmet Mosque Palace (popularly the Blue Mosque), Hagia Sophia Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar. In the evening, you can walk near the fountain on the square, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby, there is also a city tram stop, the main way of getting around the city for locals and many tourists. The hotel also helped us to choose excursions in Russian, the gathering of groups took place at the racetrack 3 steps from the hotel. This was also a big plus.
The time of stay is from January 20 to January 26, 2025. Excellent location, 200 meters from Sultan Ahmed Mosque. All the sights are nearby, within walking distance. The T1 tram stop is not far away. The hotel is located on a quiet street where cars rarely drive. Sleep comfortably. Comfortable mattresses. Beautiful view from the breakfast terrace. There is a sufficient selection of dishes for breakfast. The room is clean, dry, and spacious. There is central heating. Which is hard to find in Istanbul in winter. The hotel has an elevator. Polite staff. There are Russian speakers.
I can't give 5 points for three reasons.
1) a meager and tasteless breakfast. In general, in Istanbul it is necessary to look very well for the place where the food is delicious.
2) the room was not always cleaned. I had to constantly put up a sign asking for cleaning.
3) the windows faced the inner courtyard

From the property - location and beautiful view of Hagia Sophia
A fairly inexpensive hotel in the heart of the historical part of Istanbul. A decent breakfast on the terrace with panoramic views of the Bosphorus. The rooms are small but cozy: there is everything you need. They clean it every day. The staff is friendly and English-speaking.
A good hotel for a short stay. Not new and fresh, but quite pleasant. The rooms are clean but tiny. Breakfast on the terrace was uplifting. The location is ideal for exploring all the main attractions. To get to the area, you can take the tram from the stop 3 minutes walk from the hotel, very convenient.
Only yesterday we returned from a trip to Istanbul and I wanted to leave my real review about the SABA hotel. A great, decent hotel for a short stay in Istanbul. High-quality service, good bed linen, polite staff, tea/coffee in the room. Delicious breakfasts on the upper terrace of the hotel with panoramic views of the two main mosques of Istanbul. Convenient location near Sultanahmet Square and close to all major attractions. There are public transport stops nearby. The hotel left a good impression, deserves a solid 8 out of 10 points. I recommend it to visit👍
Very nice hotel! The rooms are small but cozy and clean.
The staff is helpful, the guys are always ready to help with any difficulties. There is not a very large selection of breakfast dishes, but it is quite satisfying. Excellent location, within walking distance of the main attractions - Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. There are many shops, restaurants and souvenir shops nearby :)
Great location, the Blue Mosque is 2 minutes away and incredibly delicious breakfasts overlooking the Bosphorus! Thanks a lot to the chefs for the variety of dishes! We checked in late at night, checked out early in the morning - all without problems. The only thing missing was the window in the room, but apparently we had inattentively booked it ourselves.
Very cool location and service. The roof terrace is beautiful . This is a cozy , quiet hotel . Thank you for your hospitality, I really enjoyed your stay.
The hotel perfectly combines location, price and view from the rooftop restaurant. I have not seen a gym there, the description is misleading. We were at the end of February 2023 and there is one drawback: the washed things do not dry in the room, however, it is everywhere here
Polite staff, clean, cozy rooms. Convenient location, near the Blue Mosque, Topkapi, Ibrahim Pasha Palace, Hagia Sophia. Beautiful view from the terrace.
