We are very pleased with our stay at the SabaHotel in August 2024. We lived from August 2 to August 8 in a double room with our son. Convenient location. The main thing is the most friendly and helpful managers at the reception and the butler. They communicated with us in fluent English and Russian. Many thanks to them for the feeling of support and security, they helped with all the questions and gave them the best mood!
The hotel is very cozy, there are many sofas in the lobby, a collection of intricate teapots, the interior is selected in a classic style. The room was quite compact in space, but it had everything you needed. The bathroom has new plumbing, everything is perfectly clean. Shower accessories and soap were found in a drawer under the sink. For breakfast, we went up to the 5th floor to the restaurant by elevator. The cook and the assistant heated milk on the gas stove for the baby every morning. A large selection of greens, vegetables, watermelon was offered every morning. A choice of salads, sliced cheeses and sausages, hot omelette, French fries and hot sausages, boiled eggs, hot fresh pastries from the chef! The cook knows Russian. Some of the tables are located on a very pleasant terrace overlooking the blue waters of the Golden Horn and the domes and minarets of the Blue Mosque. There was a feeling of relaxation in a familiar favorite place.
Walking distance to the main attractions: hippodrome, Sultan Ahmet Mosque Palace (popularly the Blue Mosque), Hagia Sophia Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar. In the evening, you can walk near the fountain on the square, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby, there is also a city tram stop, the main way of getting around the city for locals and many tourists. The hotel also helped us to choose excursions in Russian, the gathering of groups took place at the racetrack 3 steps from the hotel. This was also a big plus.
A fairly inexpensive hotel in the heart of the historical part of Istanbul. A decent breakfast on the terrace with panoramic views of the Bosphorus. The rooms are small but cozy: there is everything you need. They clean it every day. The staff is friendly and English-speaking.
A good hotel for a short stay. Not new and fresh, but quite pleasant. The rooms are clean but tiny. Breakfast on the terrace was uplifting. The location is ideal for exploring all the main attractions. To get to the area, you can take the tram from the stop 3 minutes walk from the hotel, very convenient.
