It was a long time ago. We liked it. The colonial surroundings, the chic varied cuisine, the excellent beach and the pool overlooking the bay. The location is good.
The beach is good, Karakol. The beach is almost always empty because Americans are sitting in the pool with a bar)) the hotel does not have a territory, there are 3 small pools, one is purely a bar, the second is for contests with animators, the third is 1.75 deep. We liked the food, but the regulars of this hotel said it was noticeably worse than before the pandemic. There were algae in early October, but not much, they are being removed. Of the disadvantages, they get masks, especially in a restaurant, so that they can be pulled over their noses, and children without masks are also not allowed (masks are not distributed, take them with you, they are expensive here and still find where they are sold). Every day, the card from the room was demagnetized, disgusting
Food: seafood, lots of vegetables and fruits, sweets and alcohol (champagne, wine, rum, tequila, etc.)
Service: sensitive reception staff, nimble waiters and staff.
Language: Spanish and English only.
The hotel is no longer new, but it is constantly undergoing cosmetic repairs.
The beach is small, there is no sun after 15.00 because of the high-rise hotel.
