The Palace Hotel itself, built back in 1911, generally justifies its name. Both from the outside and from the inside, it really looks like a palace, though a little "tired". The surrounding Carpathian landscapes give it a special flavor.
Check-in is fast. The hotel staff does not know or understand Russian. Which, in general, is strange, because Russian–speaking groups of tourists coming from Bulgaria often stay there.
The situation is slightly better for the staff with English.
As for the room stock, it is, with a fairly recent renovation, and all necessary furniture, household appliances and plumbing are in good condition. The bed linen and towels are snow–white. In addition, bathrobes and slippers are provided in the rooms. Of the "cons", the creaky floor-level corridor wooden floors are especially memorable.
Wi-fi is available throughout the hotel.
The food is varied and fully corresponds to the stardom of the "Palace Hotel Sinaia".
Behind it there is a fairly large and cozy park with walking paths, a pond, a fountain and a children's playground.
An old building after reconstruction. Breakfast buffet. Nearby is the splendor in the form of a perfectly preserved casino. Park. Everything is within walking distance.
