I was in Belgrade and Serbia for the first time. There is nothing to compare it with in the country. But if you compare it with other cities and countries, but the 4-star hotel that it is marked on the Booking website does not correspond. Solid 3.
Advantages: polite English-speaking staff, excellent location, many attractions are within walking distance (on foot), bus stop nearby, standard rooms with an area of 20 sq.m for double occupancy. There is a private terrace for smokers. Hearty breakfasts.
The rooms have bathrobes, slippers, kettle, liquid soap for body and hands, toilet paper, hair dryer (famous Valera).
One of the disadvantages is that it smells damp, a cockroach was noticed in the reception area. There are steps at the entrance to the hotel and on the way to the elevator, which complicates the process of lifting luggage. You can't park in front of the hotel , so you also have to stomp to a taxi with a suitcase . Breakfast has hardly changed for 5 days , which is a little boring by the end of the trip .
The sound insulation is weak. You can hear the voices of neighbors, people in the hall and music from the street ;(((

We rested with a young man, the sound insulation is at a height, we didn't hear anyone for a week, as if we lived alone)) there are no shampoos and gels in the room, keep in mind.
I didn't like the breakfast, there was no coffee, so we went to the bakery.
