We went to Georgia with our family for the May holidays in 2019. We stood in traffic in Upper Lars for 23 hours. When we got to Tbilisi, it was late and it started to rain. There was no Internet, there was no place to buy a SIM card either, since everything was already closed. We went to hotels at random, but everyone refused, referring to Booking, they say we work with Booking and the entire reservation is only through them. I accidentally drove into Tamara Chovelidze Street, when I came to my senses that I had driven into a one-way street, it was too late to turn around. At the intersection I saw the inscription hotel, left the car on the side of the road blocking half of the passage was on the 200th cruise, ran into the hotel and asked if there was a free room, to which I heard a positive answer. The owner of the hotel, his name is David, was not there, there was his relative, I do not remember his name. The room turned out to be spacious with two double beds. While we were unloading and settling in, we knocked on the door, I opened it, the hotel administrator was standing and holding a liter bottle of homemade wine in his hands. In the morning, after waking up and taking a shower , we went to the kitchen where the table was already set with all sorts of national Georgian phenomena. Then David, the owner of the hotel, came in, and when I calculated for the room, I made a mistake of fifty bucks in favor of David. After breakfast, David took us to the nearest mobile phone store, helped us choose a SIM card and gave us a tour to old Tbilisi, for about three hours. After saying goodbye to David, we took a walk before the evening and when we returned to the hotel, the receptionist handed me my $ 50 and said that I made a mistake when converting to GEL. Anyone who reads this review and visits this hotel with wonderful and cool staff, please send greetings to David from Shamil from Ulyanovsk. Thanks to the hotel staff and those who read my review to the end.
