This is a former dating house, the historical atmosphere has been preserved. Breakfasts are expensive (14€), the choice is monotonous, although extensive (many types of flour mainly). On the other hand, the cafe is even more expensive, so the difference is small.
And yes, it is important that it is not indicated in any guidebook: despite the fact that the hotel is a 10-minute walk from the center, the area is Congolese. That is, it is very unsafe there at night (and Brussels is already very scary and dark at night), and it is specific during the day, especially in the part where the eternal repair of the road.
Returning to the hotel: it is quite miniature, a narrow staircase, a small elevator (that is, you, a suitcase and another person — and you are already very cramped). The rooms are also concise, each has its own design, but overall I was comfortable.
The downside was that the rooms were not cleaned very carefully; the spider web hung over my bed for all four days, and the grasshopper would have been sitting on the ceiling further if I hadn't gotten rid of it.
The hotel has an Italian restaurant. I don't know how the dishes are there, but there is a whole island of restaurants nearby, typically dull cuisine from American to Italian and one — homemade Belgian.
In general, it is difficult to definitely recommend or not. I liked everything in general.

Cozy, close to the center and public transport. The rooms are small, the stairs and elevator are narrow, and it may be inconvenient for someone traveling with large suitcases. In the morning, the trash is noisily loaded and the warehouses of the stores are unloaded.
