Hello everyone Since I work in the tourism industry, and for me the choice of a hotel is very important, I will describe everything in detail:
🏨 Hotel:
Excellent, the staff is friendly and smiling, the girls at the reception are sociable, they gave us a nice room with our wishes. (Wishes are not always taken into account, it must be understood, it all depends on the occupancy of the hotel). The hotel is a bit old, but if you don't pay attention to some details, everything is fine on the whole.
🛌 Room:
Clean, small and cozy, there is everything you need. Bathrobe, slippers, towels, tea set: tea, coffee, sugar. Our room view was on the roof of the building and a partial view of the city, floor 4. There is no bottled water, shampoo, conditioner in the rooms, there is only a dispenser with soap.
🍳Breakfast:
The food is amazing, everything is very tasty, the juices are freshly squeezed, the variety of dishes is decent. From omelets to fruits, you definitely won't stay hungry!
SPA:
A good complex, several types of swimming pools with different temperatures in each, there is a separate pool for children, there is a Finnish, salt and aroma sauna. Towels are provided at the reception. A good fitness room.
By the way, SPA visits are not included in the standard room category, so book superior immediately if you want to visit the spa every day or tickets for a one-time visit can be purchased on site at the reception of the spa center.
🗺Location:
Convenient, any attraction can be reached on foot in 5-10 minutes. Keep in mind that wherever you go, you will either go uphill or downhill. Near the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Danish King's Garden, the Kick-in-de-Keck Tower, Freedom Square.
I booked a standard room for one night. The appearance of the hotel from the outside and inside is very attractive, the room is small, but very cozy and bright. Everything you need was placed on the 19th floor, the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is very clean and bright.
Of the cons: there are no pairs of slippers in the room. There are only two empty shelves for things in the closet, all the others are occupied by a safe and additional bedding. There is no iron on the floor, I had to go down to the reception and drag the iron along with the ironing board to the room.
The receptionists at the reception do not know Russian, they communicate very dryly. English is also questionable, so far they have named the cost and corrected each other three times. In general, we had to involve a bartender for communication, who, thank God, knows Russian.
There are also no cutlery and dishes in the room, you need to ask at the reception.
A nice SPA hotel in the capital of Estonia. Excellent location, located near the Old Town. A significant disadvantage is some kind of tight staff at the reception, they understand Russian very poorly when checking in.
