A neat little hotel, on the slope of a hill, in the Greek style. Magnificent view of the city, the hills and the sea. Going uphill is a bit steep at the end of the path, in principle, not a problem, even despite the retirement age. It is structurally made up of 4 floors of 3 rooms each. All have exits through a shared balcony, and each room has its own balcony on each floor. The Internet is normal. There are air conditioners in every room. Kettle, hairdryer, satellite TV with NTV package. There was a bathroom with a shower, and there were no problems with hot water.
Unfortunately, the heated pool did not work during our stay, it was cool to swim. That's why I took off one star. You can also find fault with the presence of harmless insects, bugs, but you need to keep in mind that there is a forest nearby. Sometimes a frog concert would turn on at night, but not for long, it didn't bother us.
In principle, it is very comfortable. Friendly hostess and staff. There is a private kitchen in summer.
The price/quality combination is very good for Gagra. Many hotels are still under construction. There are few posh ones and they cost several times more expensive, respectively. The old foundation is much worse, the presence of a swimming pool, and even with such a view, is generally rare.
This hotel is little advertised, I think those who choose it will be satisfied with their stay.
The photo shows night views.
We had a rest at the guest house in the middle of June. The location is wonderful, old Gagra. Opposite is a hotel With a beautiful promenade. The hotel is clean and cozy. the pool was warm, we were almost alone, so the whole guest house was at our disposal. The hosts are friendly. Cleaning on demand. The room has everything you need, TV, refrigerator, hair dryer. There is a kitchen, on request. The only remark is the ascent to the house. I recommend it!
We booked the hotel in advance in April for August. On the phone, the owner Eduard immediately disposes to communication, explained everything in an accessible way, told me. I am glad that we chose old Gagra, there is no such amount of greenery and palm trees anywhere else! The photos of the hotel coincide with reality, the awesome clean pool, it glows beautifully in the evening. We lived on the 4th floor (the advantage is that there is access to the balcony from the bath, the room is well ventilated). The room has everything you need, good air conditioning, hairdryer, toiletries, kettle, refrigerator. The entrance to the rooms is from a shared balcony, each has its own table with chairs, where it is pleasant to spend evenings. The view is just awesome! The girl Linda cleaned the rooms cleanly, changed the linen and wiped the floor on request, thank you! An undoubted plus is that you can order food, they cook right at the hotel, the choice is small, but everything you need to eat! Marina is always in touch 24/7, she helped with any questions! Thank you for the always delicious and fresh soup! I would like to say a special thank you to Susanna! When our child needed the help of a doctor, she went with us to the hospital at night, thank you from the bottom of my heart! The hotel is surrounded by greenery, beautiful flowers and palm trees, a waterfall. In general, we liked everything, it was a little hard to climb, since the hotel is located on a mountain, but nothing, physical education)
An undoubted plus is a good attitude towards the guests, real hospitality - Susanna, Marina, Linda, left a warm memory of stunning Abkhazia!
