Thick walls and high-set windows. There is an opportunity to purchase striped uniforms of former residents of this institution. It is quite cozy and comfortable. A good breakfast.

Definitely one of the best hotels in the city. The main advantage is the silence, due to the thick prison walls. They kept the prison cell as a feature, and access to the basement, where prisoners were sitting side by side. Breakfast is served on metal dishes, as it should be. A solid five.

Conveniently located hotel in the port of Helsinki, within walking distance of the city center, stunningly unusual interior left over from the former prison, comfortable modern room, good breakfasts
