I've been to the hotel restaurant several times. The cuisine is good, the dishes are exquisite. While you are waiting for the order to be completed, a large platter with assorted dishes will be brought to you. There are meat and fish dishes. They bring it to you, and you choose. And yet, once there was an incident. It turns out that in such seemingly decent and not cheap establishments they may try to deceive you.
There were four of us. Three of them ordered whiskey. I asked for cognac. Moreover, I specifically asked if this French brand exists. They answered in the affirmative. I do not specify the name so that it does not sound like an advertisement. Alcohol was brought. After tasting my cognac, I realized that this is not what I asked for. He asked me to bring a bottle. Embarrassed, the waiter disappeared. After a while, he reappeared and apologetically announced that there was no cognac. They really brought me another one. And they suggested that it would be on the house. We didn't complain. I did not drink the cognac that was brought to me. It was not pleasant. We went there quite often. Did they know me by sight and that?! I stopped going there and inviting friends. One day, passing by this restaurant, I saw this waiter. They usually stand in a group at the entrance to get some fresh air. He smiled warmly and invited us to the restaurant. I stopped next to him and told him quietly, "We won't be coming here any time soon. And you know why!". So, unfortunately, in expensive restaurants and hotels you are not guaranteed against deception. I note that this hotel boasts photos of celebrities who have visited this restaurant, which are placed under glass at the entrance to the hotel. I didn't live in the hotel itself.
