The hotel is great for three people! 5-6 minutes to the sea, our room was on the 3rd floor, there was a lot of space, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioner was located opposite the bed, so there was no wind, and there was a large balcony. 2 bottles of water are brought every day, cleaning is done every day, there is a kettle in the room. The shower was wonderful, hot water was always available. Breakfast, as many wrote, consists of 4 dishes to choose from, but all 4 dishes are very tasty, the soups are top! They make good coffee. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. It's not clear who wasn't smiling there, the girl at the counter is wonderful! Behave normally and you will also be treated well and smile)))
One of the disadvantages is audibility, you can hear the doors slamming on the floor, and if our compatriots are shouting loudly, then you can also hear. Don't drink too much alcohol, it's harmful in the heat.

The hotel is not bad, clean, you can see that the staff is trying. Yes, no one will "happily wag their tail", but calmly, steadily. Breakfast, as written, has 4 types, always fruits. Every day there is water according to the number of survivors in the room. Bed linen, yes, do not expect starched linen, towels sometimes with torn edges. Two beach towels with replacement for 3-5 days. According to the room (second floor number 9016), the smell of mold was first, the room was ventilated, dried, and it became normal. The bed was right in front of the air conditioner, it blew terribly, it was rearranged. The conder is noisy, that's right. We didn't hear much noise from the street, although the windows faced the street with traffic. On Mondays at 21.00 Elvis sings in a cafe nearby, it's nice. Food prices at the end of March are about 500 baht for two people for lunch at a cafe. Nearby Thai massage, convenient.

We had a family vacation in February 2025, and this hotel was offered to us due to the postponement of the flight for 2 days, so we had to spend the night here for 2 nights. The room is located in some kind of semi-darkness, the ceilings are low, you had to bend down to go to the toilet/ bathroom, because both my husband and I are tall. In the shower itself, the water is mixed, then cool water flows, then sharply boiling water and it is impossible to fix it. As it turned out, there were still ants living in the room, which found any hole in the packaged products and were in every chocolate bar. Drinking water was not provided at all, the breakfast was monotonous. However, we didn't like it, the only thing that stopped us from moving was the fact that we didn't want to move home soon and with our things somewhere else. Of the advantages, only the staff, there are no complaints about them, polite, friendly.

The hotel itself is small but pleasant. There are no cockroaches. There are mosquitoes (buy a fumigator right away at 7/11! Ours don't take them! And buy the spray right away, with a pink lid)

The room was quiet, only the neighbors bothered, as if they had come from the village, unable to close the door quietly, they wanted to go out in the middle of the night and tear it up)))
The room was cleaned every day, 2 bottles of water were given (we do not recommend drinking them, they say this water is from the tap, as in all hotels in Thailand)
Breakfast includes 4 dishes to choose from (noodle soup, rice with chicken, rice soup, egg/bacon/sausage, fruit and toast are served to everyone, coffee is not delicious at all, we took it at 7/11)
You can sit at the reception in the evening to eat / drink, they don't kick you out, thank you for that!!
We would definitely come back here, because this hotel is clean, cozy, located in a very convenient location, there are a lot of entertainment nearby, a market, all kinds of fruit markets, And it takes about 5-7 minutes to walk to the sea!)

The hotel is a couple of stars, there is everything and the refrigerator is big, but everything is very tired, there are holes and stains on the towels, but they are clean. The toilet, the pot itself is 1.5 meters from the bed, the door to the room, not to the corridor. Quiet place, nice staff. There are 4 types of breakfasts, if you alternate, it's fine. Close to the sea, restaurants, shops. If you are not a pretentious tourist, then you are normal.

The hotel fully justifies its 3 stars. We had a rest in May 2024.. Upon check-in at the reception, we were greeted rather coolly, without a smile. The standard room is quite spacious. The room is clean, the bed is large, the mattress is comfortable. The furniture is outdated, and so is the kettle. Two glass cups, there are no cups for coffee- they asked (they gave 1 cup without a spoon). The shower is uncomfortable (it is attached to the wall and cannot be removed) There is nothing except shampoo and shower gel. Breakfast is monotonous every day. The most unpleasant thing was the attitude towards us - in the evening at 20:00 the lighting and fans in the lobby at the reception were TURNED OFF!!! Our company of 6 people had to search in the dark for at least some kind of plate to cut fruit. The glasses were also searched for themselves. In general, we did not see Thai hospitality.(We behaved very decently if anything..) The only plus is the location of the hotel - 5 minutes to the sea, all restaurants and shops are nearby. My husband had an anniversary on May 14 - Madame Om handed him a present in the morning without a smile ( a T - shirt with the logo of the hotel , in which the attendants walked ) . There is no pool (although in the evening I wanted to sit somewhere, but there was nowhere) We definitely won't come a second time and I don't recommend it;;;

We are currently resting at the hotel. A small, well-maintained, three-star hotel. The staff is friendly, tries to help in everything, any requests
solve it as quickly as possible. Everything is clean. The towel in the room is changed every day. The cleaning is all good. The room has toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo, and a cap.
The towel for the sea is changed once every 5 days, but we had an emergency and it was changed at our request earlier, no problem. Would I come back here if I needed such a convenient location to the sea, undoubtedly yes.
The most pleasant thing is 5 minutes and we are at the sea))
Please put your valuables in the safe. We did not find our Samsung headphones that were not taken out of the room.

We had a rest with my husband since 12.03 for 2 weeks, on the first day we were checked into a room on the 1st floor (we discussed it in advance, since all the deluxe suites were occupied), the room is very dark, the view from the window overlooks the trees. The next day we moved to the 3rd floor, the rooms are spacious, clean, cleaning was every day. The breakfast is monotonous, 4 dishes, overall we were satisfied with the hotel, good location, a maximum of 5 minutes to the beach, a fair is coming to the temple on Tuesday and Friday, 3 7elevens (both small and large) are within walking distance. The beach is clean.

I strongly advise you to pay extra and choose another hotel. It is located on a noisy street where music screams until late at night, the windows are not plastic, so you will not find that it will protect you from noise. A window fell out in our room! At 12 o'clock in the morning, there was no one at the reception and I spent half an hour looking for staff. After that, the staff did not have the famous Thai smile in our direction. It's like we broke the window. The rooms are dirty, the toilet doors are broken, the shower pours crookedly and sometimes there was no hot water. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

- It's very noisy, especially at night. The street is very noisy at night (every day). Old European tourists shout songs with live music in the neighboring bars until 2-3 am. It's all very loud! There is no sound insulation in the room.
- There are small red ants in the room (there are in the photo). They don't interfere with life, to be honest. They are generally not even noticeable. But you should leave any food or drinks outside the refrigerator, even for 5 minutes. Even in the package. The ants will climb in there and share it)

- They didn't give me a second room key. They said at the reception that, in principle, they do not give
The window and balcony looked out onto a busy street. Therefore, in order to walk naked, you need to shade)
- Towels are sometimes brought with "interesting" stains (blood, for example. Not dirty in the sense, but because the stains did not wash off. If anything happens, the towels will be changed, but be careful.
- There were no sockets with a European plug in the room. Either take the adapter or ask at the reception. If there are, they will give it.

- A busy street with restaurants, massage parlors, a night market, fruit shops and much more, also nearby
- Linen and towels were changed every day
- We brought 2 bottles of water to the refrigerator every day for free
- The staff is friendly. Small wishes were satisfied promptly (they gave us an extra plate, an extra chair, a fruit knife, an adapter for an outlet, etc.)
- The air conditioner worked well and quickly, but there was no way without it. The room is very hot and humid. But with air conditioning it is quite ok)
- There is shower gel, soap and shampoo in the room. Cheap, of course, but for me, for example, it was quite normal.
The hotel is suitable for those who mostly spend the night in the room and rest a little during the day. A simple and inexpensive hotel, with a very good location. Karon beach is 5-7 minutes away on foot.
It was often written in the reviews here that the staff easily changes the room to a deluxe room or one with a view of the greenery, and not to the street. In our case, it was not possible to change it. No matter how much you asked. We lived in the one that was originally given.
Breakfast was included. Very simple. Just to satisfy your hunger, without much pleasure. They may look good in the photo. But the ham and bread are strange, plastic in taste. It is impossible to drink coffee (take tea). Juice is instant lemonade with dye for three kopecks. I recommend taking fried rice or chicken soup. There are 4 types of breakfasts in total. They are served from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Out of 11 nights, we came for breakfast 4 times.
Conclusion: If the described disadvantages (noise, ants) are not critical for you, then you may well stop by this hotel. As for me, he's 7/10. Would I have returned to it? Most likely, I would have looked at another one. But I can't say that I was uncomfortable at the Hotel de Karon. It was quite normal!

The hotel is simple, but cozy and clean. The room has everything you need, a safe with a small padlock)) it needs to be taken at the reception, without a deposit. Beach towels are also given out at the reception. The hotel is located in a cul-de-sac of a quiet street, with the windows closed and the air conditioner running, the noise and music from the next street are not very audible. The staff at the hotel is very responsive! The usual breakfasts, 4 types: American and 3 Thai dishes, fruit, juice, freshly brewed coffee. In principle, everything is decent. After all, you don't fly to Thai to sit in a hotel room, but to enjoy nature, the sea, the atmosphere, the Thai flavor. Have a good rest to everyone!

We are resting in this hotel now. I can't say anything good about the hotel. They put me in a basement-type room, and even with one bed. I am 65 years old and my grandson is 13, although we booked a room with two beds. They asked to change the number if possible, they answered in a rude way, no, referring to the fact that the boy is small, so it will do. The staff is rude, always unhappy with something. There is a construction site next to the hotel. Our room overlooks the construction site. From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., everything is rattling, cars with straymaterials are buzzing all day, but you can still tolerate it because you lie on the beach all day. But at night there is a disco next to the hotel from 21 to 2-3 nights. So if you respect yourself, then you definitely are not here. I've been to Thailand 10 times already, but this is the first time I've seen this.

I stayed at the hotel in December 2022. The hotel is renovated. Everything is very clean. A room with a balcony. There is everything you need to stay. They cleaned every day. The bed hasn't been changed in a week. Towels were changed a couple of times. They do not give breakfast with them at early check-out. Upon request, they wake you up on time. Check-in at the hotel only after 14.00. But if you try to negotiate in private, then for a small fee you can settle earlier. They give beach towels, but you have to ask for them - they don't offer them themselves) We didn't know what was here - we bought towels. In principle, it corresponds to the price. I think we will come to the same hotel again.

The location is super, 5 minutes to the sea, the same distance to markets, shops and cafes right at the exit of the hotel. There are 4 breakfast options to choose from, without pretensions to haute cuisine (if this is important to you), but tasty and satisfying. The rooms have everything you need, air conditioning. Cleaning is done every day. The only drawback is shabby (sometimes torn) towels, but always clean, they are changed during cleaning.

We rested here with my husband from 02/24/2020 to 03/07/2020.Excellent hotel, perfect location,delicious and hearty breakfasts (4 dishes to choose from),good cleaning,quiet,courteous staff.definitely, we will come to this hotel again.I recommend it!!!

A huge advantage of this hotel is its location. Nearby there are shops, supermarkets, cafes for every demand, the Centara hotel, where you can safely swim in the pool. The breakfasts at De karon are decent. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the sea at a calm pace.
