We had a rest in 2019. The hotel is 4 stars, the cleaning was not average, we were not pretentious about food, but there was plenty of everything, even through the chock, and what a wonderfully cooked beef they have!!! The pool didn't seem big at first glance, but even at peak times you can always find a free sunbed and a place to swim. It's not too far from the sea, line 2, but it was nice to walk.
Terrible hotel! The territory is normal, but the hotel itself is dirty, the walls are shabby and dirty, the carpet is dirty and in huge spots! The food is very poor. Children's animation and evening shows in Arabic and French only! All the shows are only for their own, Arabs and Tunisians. The rooms are shabby, the walls are shabby and dirty, the markings are hanging out and wires are sticking out of them! The refrigerator in the room is never cleaned, it is so dirty that you don't even want to put down a bottle of water! The beach area is not cleaned!
This is just A TERRIBLE HOTEL! I would give it 2 stars!!!
Nice hotel. A small well-maintained area. A large swimming pool. There is an indoor freshwater pool. We were at the beginning of the season, so there were no queues for food or sun beds. Unfortunately, the beach has not worked yet (They have not prepared) a separate one. I had to go to the next one
There are no complaints about the staff. There are a lot of people in the season and it will be fun. There is animation.
The beach is 2 roads away-5-7 minutes from the hotel. Good location-there are many cafes and shops nearby. As well as the new medina, a children's amusement park.
The hotel is quite suitable for children. We went with a child of 1.5 years old. There were many families with children. Basically a hotel for Russians. The staff speaks Russian. Tizi and Madi would be singled out from the animators. Sociable guys. The rest are not visible or heard...
We had a rest from August 28 to September 8, 2019. We flew from Moscow to RedWings without any problems, we were met and taken to the hotel, too, wonderful. The hotel reception said that check-in would be at 12 o'clock. And then the outright extortion of money for providing a room began. They call me over, give me the keys to the room, they say - go take a look. You take the keys and go on a trip to God knows where in unfamiliar places. It's hard to find a room, it turns out to be either a basement or without a balcony or smelly with mold. So we looked at 5-6 rooms until we were forced to pay a bribe. I had to give ($ 10) - I immediately found a room. There were 3 adults, the room turned out to be 2-bed, but large. They said they would set up a bed. As a result, they brought a cot for children. We spent three days trying to get them to put up a full-fledged bed, but we still managed to get a bed.
Everything is good in terms of nutrition, there is a large selection, fruits, pastries, meat, fish... But here's the problem with the dishes. After the first batch of eaters, there are no plates left and in order to get a plate you have to wait and then fight for it, because people come and come, and the plates are brought in small batches. Arabs can freely put everything with their hands – fried potatoes, chicken and fish… It looks very wild and disgusting....
A separate topic is the smelly road to the beach and the beach itself. We haven't seen such a shit anywhere!!!! No one cleans up on the beach - not only is there knee-deep algae, but it's all mixed up with plastic - the view is terrible. It seems that you lay down to rest in a landfill.
Another divorce is that on the day of departure we go to hand over towels at 16.30 (the pick–up point is open until 17.00). The Arab, who should take towels from us and give us cards, says that there are no cards and allegedly goes to get them. We waited and waited for him, eventually we went to the reception, and they say that's it, we were late.... The pick-up point is closed because it has run out of time. This is terrible!!! After a few minutes of swearing, they still manage to knock out our legal 60 dinars for fucking towels.
These are the seemingly small things, but in general the impression of the rest and the hotel is spoiled. So first think about whether you need it and choose a better hotel for your vacation....
The hotel is located on the second line. To reach the sea, you need to cross 2 roads. It takes about 7 minutes to walk. The hotel has its own beach. The rooms in the hotel are different. Do not settle for the 1st floor , it smells very damp, the furniture is very old. As an asmatic person, it would be hard for me to live there. For a very long time they asked to change the room , they connected the guide, and hooray for us they changed it . The reward was then present. The room was nice, but there was a terrible smell on the floor, maybe an old carpet. The food is varied , you will not be hungry . Dry wine for lunch and dinner . Lots of fruits .(June). There are no dates .As the guide explained to us, they are never in this hotel. Animation is trying , but it works more for the foreign audience .The territory is small, we have nowhere to walk in the evening. But there are many shops nearby where you can walk . In general, for this money is not a bad option. We rested in a large company, we were not bored and the children were not bored either. Everyone became friends. But if you have high requirements for everything, maybe this is not your hotel.
Yesterday I arrived from Tunisia, I was vacationing in this hotel. The food is normal, you will not stay hungry, but there is little choice for breakfast. The food that stands against the wall is all spicy in seridine is normal. At the expense of rooms, they are for picky people, but there are also good ones with repairs for $ 20 they will settle there. The sea is 5-7 km away, but the beach area is dirty, just mountains of algae. We went to the port, there is a clean entry. A camel is walking along the beach and their waste is on the sand ((you don't have to go to the market, they make a 500-fold cheat there, it's cheaper in shops and an inexpensive store at the hotel. For example, I bought a leather backpack at the market for 40 dinars (120 cost), and in the hotel store it costs 30 dinars. Points 10-20dinar,who needs tobacco for hookahs4dinar in shops 4-6dinar.Don't buy anything right away, look for it. So the rest is generally normal, the weather has failed a little. We went to the Phrygia zoo for $ 20 per person, if you are going, then it is better to take a taxi by the company it will be much cheaper (15 dinars entrance for children, go 25 min. From the hotel) well, what can I say, it can be better!
The hotel is not bad, but after leaving the iberostar network, it is clearly falling into disrepair. The staff is very tired and completely relaxed: 1. cleaning for a C minus and then if you leave a tip.
2. In the restaurant where the buffet is served, they begin to clean up without waiting for the end. Yes, and the waiters, rather the cleaners or the serving. Because If there is something missing on the table, then it will remain that way. Even if you make a request, it is not a fact that you will be heard and you will not have to go for one or the other yourself. Again, tipping does not solve anything, well, or you need to give more than 2 euros, which in my opinion is undeserved.
3. There are clever receptionists at the reception. Until you give me the money, they won't offer you a room, even the one you have in your reservation.
Of the advantages:
1. Not far from the Airport, i.e. I was picked up last.
2. The krmyat is quite tasty.
That's probably all...
The hotel is huge, with a good private territory and a swimming pool. There is a private beach with sun beds and a bar. The hotel has 2 more bars and a pool bar, a huge dining room (of course you can't call it a restaurant), excellent food for every taste. The hotel itself and the rooms are outdated and in some places repairs are required, but in general everything was fine. The attitude of the staff towards the Russians is normal. If you are used to 5 stars, you are not here, but it pulls 3-4 stars.
The hotel is not new, the renovation is not new, but the service is basically normal. Many people understand Russian and English. The food is fine, animation, 3 a cho map. Well-maintained territory. In general, your mentality and your stars are OK. The sea is close, but to go across the street and the block, the hotel has its own beach, by Russian standards it is quite dirty. There are merchants and a camel. The rooms are also nice and in some places it stinks of mold. They smoke everywhere. If you leave food in the room, by the evening a crowd of ants will come running, they are being poisoned.
I liked the hotel. The territory is small and well maintained. The food is beyond praise. There are many Russians and French in the hotel. The workers are trying to speak Russian. The convenient location of the hotel.
There are so many advantages, so many disadvantages. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, clean linen, BUT there are ants and a lot of them, cockroaches crawled periodically, and minus the kitchen is something, just a canteen, queues, there is nothing for children to eat, almost 90% percent of spicy dishes, fruits are few and these are apples, plums and a couple of grapes. This is not the first time in Tunisia, there is something to compare it with. One of the advantages is the wonderful and helpful staff, starting from the reception, when problems arose in the room, they immediately changed and in general everything was solved very quickly, very good and positive, good-natured animators, the child still remembers, left with tears. The hotel is small but cozy, everything is compact and it didn't bother you to go to the sea across the street.
Nice hotel. The second line. The territory is small. The food is delicious and varied. The animation is bad - there is one program every day. The staff is helpful and friendly.
Cons: the hotel is old, locks are jammed and there are almost no candytoners (in some rooms), there are queues in the dining room for lunch and dinner (I recommend walking 1 hour after opening). The indoor pool is open only in winter. The beach area is small.
Pros: the food is not bad, the green area, there are several bars, not far from the beach, the beach is clean, there are no algae and jellyfish in September. The hotel is often cleaned, swept and washed. Nice outdoor pool.
The biggest disappointment is the dirty sea and the beach, there are a lot of algae, no one cleans them for three days! If someone likes to relax by the pool, then here you are! But you will have to relax in the company of the French, for whom everything is organized at the highest level! Russians are pampered only for money!
The hotel leaves much to be desired, already at the entrance the smell of hookah and hammam hits the nose. The rooms are large, but dark, with only a couple of light bulbs. The restaurant is small and does not accommodate everyone, if you did not manage to take a place at the opening, then it is difficult to do it later
We rested at the hotel from October 4 to October 11, solid 3, not 4. We were well fed. They are poorly cleaned. Towels are not changed every day. The furniture in the room, the carpet in the hallway, is old, dirty, it's not a pity to throw it away. The lighting in the rooms is very weak, very dark.
The hotel is normal, especially the upper floors. But there are too many Algerians, more than Russians. And they look at Russian women as hot birds and eat a lot and sloppily
The hotel is old and needs major renovation. The reception staff understands Russian only if they need something. Clearly does not correspond to the stated 4*.
