The rooms are spacious, but the glass doors and the wall are not very comfortable! And so there is even a powerful hair dryer.

Overall, the hotel is nice and new. The rooms are very large, the bathroom is spacious, the territory is well maintained. The big minus is the food ... the products from which are prepared are of high quality, but the recipe is something, how is it possible to spoil the taste of dishes like this is a question! Constant queues for food, although tasteless. There is a shortage of appliances on the tables, napkins are generally scarce, take them with you. The staff is kind but lazy. It will take a long time to wait everywhere. It covers everything with a gorgeous ocean and a huge beach, just for the sake of this you can ignore all the inconveniences.
The hotel is located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, the territory of the hotel is very beautiful and well-maintained palm trees, grass and flowers. There are some nuances of this hotel. The hotel is new, the rooms are spacious. There are many pools, each has a bar. The beach is cool. The food is not very good, the choice of alcohol is small. There is no Legendario and Havana rum at all. They clean poorly, linen was rarely changed, towels were never changed.

Pros: near the beach, the weather (you can even sunbathe in the shade), the beautiful ocean (when the weather is clear, it is azure), white sand, hospitable hotel staff, who are mostly positive and ready to help. The food is normal. Nothing supernatural, but edible.
Cons: a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms (we always hunted them before going to bed, trying to kill as many as possible), a long flight, prices in a convenience store, the smell of sewage on the street. There is also garbage on the shore, if you move 100 meters or more away from the adjacent beach.
Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. This was our first trip abroad (November 2023). We flew for 10 nights and almost all days, except for the last couple, the weather was excellent.
Among the advantages: the beach, the rooms are cool, the view from our room to the ocean (1st building), everyone greets and smiles with you, the hotel is relatively fresh, there is an opportunity to leave the hotel, free sun beds on the beach (in good condition), animation almost every day.
Among the cons: the queue in the dining room, the queue everywhere, the queue on the beach at the bar, disgusting monotonous food (there were no eggs for breakfast for 4 days, there was never porridge, once even pasta ran out, we never changed linen and towels in the first building for 9 days (not for a dollar, neither for tights and pills, nor for a chocolate bar), they did not clean for 3 days, even the room service did not help, pegasus with his excursions (all excursions are complete crap, except Havana and exclusive yachts and fishing, just take without dolphins, it is not worth 5 minutes and 12 seconds of time, the money that is for them they ask, everything else is expensive and you can go yourself cheaper and cooler), boring and monotonous rest - to eat / lie down, weak animation, I'll say about pegasus again (zero care - let's go to Havana, no recommendations, no instructions).
There are still a lot of pros and cons.
I do not recommend the hotel to visit. Even if it's cheap, even if it's very cheap, pay extra for another one. I didn't enjoy the country.
Plus, this is the ocean hotel and a gorgeous beach, a good number of rooms, animation.
Of the minuses, there is nothing nearby, in general, there is 1 small shop in the hotel. The food is very weak, but you will not stay hungry, there are no drinks at all except rum and 2 types of juice, even there were problems with cola, they were delivered only a couple of times. But very tasty ice cream and a lot of it)
Cleaning is also a problem, as lucky with the maid.
There are only Russians in the hotel, and since the cost is low, the contingent comes different, maybe we were so lucky, but we were ashamed of our compatriots.

The hotel is new, the rooms are large, the ocean is fabulous, the territory is well maintained, there are many bars with high-quality alcohol. The food is a minus star, but we were never hungry, there was always meat and fish. They can't cook, that's a fact, but you can always find something to your taste. Mosquitoes depend on the month, there were practically no mosquitoes in July, sprays were not useful, in 2 weeks we saw a maximum of 5 pieces. The motivation is average, the guys are trying hard. In general, all the staff is trying very hard, polite, friendly.
Our room was cleaned daily, towels and bed were changed 4 times in 2 weeks, we lived in the 2nd building on the 3rd floor. Nothing was missing from the room or the beach, although there was talk of theft. For Cuba, the hotel is excellent, cooking will be set up - and there will be a solid 5.

Perhaps we were more lucky in our arrival than the previous tourists, there was a lot of food and there was a choice of bread as well.
Hotel:
A very nice hotel. New, stylish and spacious rooms. We had everything we needed to relax in our room: hot and cold water, showers - both taps were working (photo attached). There was nothing wrong with the toilet drain in our room. We had toilet paper in our room (although after reading the reviews, I brought a roll with me just in case). Refrigerator + freezer -they worked, my husband made ice for whiskey (whiskey from duty free). TV + Russian channels. There was a safe in the room, it did not work when we checked in (valuables and documents were left in a suitcase, a PIN code was entered), we went to the reception, while we were walking back to the room, the master was already waiting, did everything in 5 minutes (put everything valuable in the safe). There were no towels for the shower, they also informed us, they brought us a day later. There were towels for the beach, my husband and I had enough for 12 days. The hair dryer was working. The air conditioner is new and also worked perfectly. The furniture in the lobby was changed and a new one was installed.
They took a raptor with them, used it several times against mosquitoes, did not turn it on from flies, perhaps the weather was not flying for flies))) (there were strong winds, sometimes it was very fresh in the evenings).
I will note the landscaping of the hotel, I really liked it, you can see the approach of a professional designer, designer, lawns, bushes, paths are trimmed, cleaned, many pools, they are also cleaned every day. I would LIKE to NOTE that it is such a work to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the territory of the hotel itself. In general, all the staff is very nice, smiling, they try and it shows. For the sake of conscience, I will also write that when we checked in, there were significantly fewer staff, after a couple of days it became noticeably more, mostly young and cheerful, which was nice.
Cleaning:
Garbage was taken out of the hotel every day, it was clear in the morning that the staff was working. The room was cleaned almost every day, there were 2 times, on the day of arrival, the cleaner worked alone for our building, I assume that she did not have time to physically wash, I brought chocolates and left one piece to the cleaner with a tip, a very nice woman, I did it out of respect for the person, not for cleaning or towels, I also left her jewelry and things that I won't wear anymore. I note that the day before departure, two more cleaners appeared, on a three-storey building, it turns out one per floor.
We had shower towels changed on request twice, the third time the cleaner did not have clean ones, it was not critical for us. We were left with water in the room for four days in a row, then they stopped, clarified, and of course the cleaner did not have bottled water either, as we understood she had no place to get it from (everything is issued and changed immediately and daily when it is available). It's good that we didn't throw out the last three bottles from under the water, we went to collect water at the same 0.5. I used the coffee machine only twice to brew tea, there were no capsules for the machine, we also didn't have beer in the room.
Meals:
On our arrival there was a choice of dishes, there were buns, pancakes, pastries, bread, butter, cheese all days on our arrival, eggs, omelette every other day and almost every day. There was beef, by the way, very tasty, pork, fish, mussels, octopus, cheeses, sausages, vegetables, rice, various types of spaghetti, sauces stood apart from pasta and pasta on the right, I attacked sauerkraut, I really liked nuggets, battered ham + cheese and much more; fruits in ABUNDANCE, especially papaya (ripe), watermelons of different varieties, pineapples, fruit desserts, ice cream in ABUNDANCE - sooo delicious (the children are delighted), I personally really liked the cakes, I attach a photo (my portions are not large, so I wanted to get into shorts), if I didn't have enough food, I got up and took supplements, one ended, I took the other ))). Rum was plentiful, beer was flowing, sometimes it ran out, they brought it back in the morning, we tasted wine by the glass or two with my husband at dinner, it was pleasant, I liked the red one more.
Beach:
A gorgeous beach! And of course, the merit of the hotel is in this, without cleaning and cleaning there would have been another entry into the ocean and it is unknown whether ..., the beach was cleaned during our check-in. Incredibly beautiful ocean and azure coast, soft sand! The sand did not heat up as in Vietnam and is whiter than in the Dominican Republic (a little for comparison). There were a lot of shislongs, there was enough for everyone in the hotel, there were still free ones, some of them were cleaned for the night, put out early in the morning. The sun, the breeze, ships, cruise liners pass on the horizon in the distance, in the evening in the lights, it is very beautiful, romantic.
A tractor drove by on the beach a couple of times, we understand that it does this when strong winds catch up with a lot of algae from the ocean overnight, it does this quickly, so that it is soft to enter the ocean or build houses out of sand (which was built), we also saw on other days how they cleaned with a rake, they put it in a basket when less garbage was thrown out of the ocean....
On the beach, in sunny, good weather, sailboat and catamaran rentals worked along the beach line, it was very beautiful.
They sold coconuts and pineapples on the beach, we took coconuts for a dollar (delicious!!!). They sold cigars, my husband took them (satisfied!!!). In general, very beautiful picturesque landscapes, insanely gorgeous colors and views.

The lack of daily replenishment of regular drinking water in the room and in bottles, there is little food in the snack bar, if you missed breakfast, lunch or dinner, you get nothing to eat. Ordinary drinking water, in my opinion, should be given daily to the room and provided in bottles at the request of a tourist, so that you do not have to go and get it in open bars, and even in cups (giving out in a glass or two is just to drink at tables), it's one thing when it's day and it's not difficult to go, another evening or night, or feeling unwell ...
What is the reason for the delay in the delivery of food and drinks to the hotel (?), its quantity (?) is unknown. It is clear that the skeleton, that the products are brought and, as we understood with linen, towels also, are taken to the laundry and brought clean. And of course, the people who serve the hotel are not to blame for this. It is clear that tourists go to a 5-star hotel, face a lack of basic amenities, get upset, get angry and, unfortunately, the service personnel are the first to be "distributed".…:(I really hope that the situation at the hotel will change…
Like all other reviews, my review is purely subjective. There are as many opinions as there are people.
I wish the hotel, the staff and the manager exceptional prosperity (!!!). I would like to hope that the hotel will reach the level of the really declared 5 stars, perhaps we have already found improvements in its changes.

We were from 12.27.23 to 6.01.24 I liked everything. There were mosquitoes in the evenings, I didn't see any flies. The ocean is super! The beach entrance is a beautiful sandy one, the best for children. The bed was not changed for us, if you need to change the towels, you can take them yourself and change them. Excursions from Pegasus are very expensive, but there are no options, there is nowhere else to buy. There are Russian TV channels. There is a mosquito net in the rooms. We lived in the 9th building, the sound of the ocean is super and the dawn. And away from the music, I liked it. Russians get drunk on rum in the trash, they shout songs until the morning. It grew like a river, the juices are different. The coffee is delicious, the pool is clean. Everyone in the dining room is friendly. The animation is cool! I liked everything.
We had a rest in November. The territory is huge and well maintained. The buildings themselves are new and conveniently located. The rooms both overlook the ocean, the pools, and just the territory. Regarding cleaning: there is practically no cleaning (neither gifts nor tips affect it), as well as changes of linen and towels. But that's what it's worth going there for - it's the ocean, it's amazing!

The presence of mosquitoes interfered with the rest a little, although the treatment failed, but the humidity at this time of the year. every day it rains, it absolutely does not interfere with rest, it passes very quickly. A relatively new hotel, large spacious rooms, were from 12/26/2013 to 02.01.24. The territory is green and well-groomed, the ocean is just around the corner). I was with my wife and son for 5.5 years. The staff is friendly ;)No need to wait for cleaning, just go get high on the ocean 🌊 all the world ✌️

I was in Cuba for the first time, flew alone for 10 days, from May 2 to May 11. The year 2024. Those reviews that I read do not correspond to reality at all, I liked sooo much. There were no problems with food, the assortment was not very large, but there was enough food for everyone, they meet at the entrance to the main restaurant with applause, it's nice, by the way, animators also meet from the bus, the staff is friendly everywhere, it's also nice, they wrote that the rooms are bad, there is no toilet paper, the rooms are gorgeous with a dressing room, with an iron, with an ironing board, a cool hair dryer, a large shower, everything is available for the shower (shampoo, gel and hair balm). They are cleaned either daily or every other day, it didn't bother me. The beach is a fairy tale, the sand is cool, the breeze is super! I will not say anything good about Alexander's guide, he is deceiving, if you decide to go on excursions, it is better not from the guide. I bought in Trinidad, they told me to go 3-3.5 hours, we drove 5.5 tin and 2 hours of your free time, and then he drives for almost an hour on cigars and rum shopping. I advise you to buy from any bartender at the hotel, they will be happy to sell cheaper. It's a problem with water, they put one 1.5 liter bottle in the room and you have to go to a restaurant with it to dial yourself or leave a tip in the room, they will bring it, but not the fact! By Cuban standards, the hotel is in excellent condition, almost new. But given the Cuban nature of the maintenance, the hotel looks older. Something is broken and not repaired, something is not being cleaned.
The rooms have a coffee machine, but no capsules, and an ironing board, iron, and hair dryer. But there may not be a full set of towels, there may not be a full set of linen. For example, we didn't have a duvet cover and only had two towels. The condition of the bed linen and towels is poor.
There are no brushes in the bathrooms.
We had cleaning every day, but it was more for show and came down to making the bed. Toilet paper was replenished on time, there was a supply. Drinking water was supplied every day. As we know, many had no cleaning, no water, no paper. So maybe we got lucky with the room service staff.
There is a lot of food, but only in terms of volume. You need to walk a lot along the dishes on the menu to figure out what to eat. On the fourth or fifth day, you get used to it and know where to look and what you can take from the edible. This applies to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Almost every trip to the dining room was accompanied by a search for cutlery and napkins. There is no salt and pepper. There are no toothpicks.
Bars. In general, this is only the name of these establishments. There is a cigar bar, a sports bar, a beach bar, a lobby bar, a snack bar and an amphitheater bar, and bars by each pool. Rum is always available. There may be no beer (there was no beer for a couple of evenings). The juices are not tasty, like powdered ones, but they may not be either. Cola and sprite are almost always absent. So you can forget about any normal cocktails. There is vodka.
The sports bar has two billiard tables and that's where the sports focus ends. On two screens, however, they can broadcast something sports for the background. The rest is boredom and silence.
The story of the cigar bar is about the same. But you can smoke there and it's small, which makes it seem more alive.
The role of bartenders in all bars is to fill glasses with beer or rum, and to mix rum with a juice-like liquid. But they try their best, the lack of everything is not their fault.
It turns out that due to the lack of music and good drinks, bars cease to be a point of attraction, they are almost always empty.
There are three normal-sized pools and plus a children's pool, and another one as a paddling pool for very little ones. They look clean, but I've never seen them cleaned. There are enough sun loungers around the pools, there were always free ones. But this is most likely due to the fact that the pools are also boring. There's silence. Sometimes they can organize some kind of activity at the main pool and then people will pull up there.
In addition to sun loungers, there are many sun beds on the territory, such as beds with soft mattresses.
The play is cool. The ocean is steep. The picture is great. It is possible, preferably at low tide, around 11 o'clock in the morning, to walk about a kilometer away - there is generally beauty there!
For some Cuban reason, the hotel part of the beach is rarely cleaned of algae. Rarely - it's not every day at all. A huge amount of algae accumulates.
There are a lot of sun loungers on the beach, there is enough for everyone.
The activities are the same every day. Sometimes they are diluted with different contests, but in the end it all comes down to zumba.
The most memorable party was the beach party. It was very cozy and fun, it felt like a vacation on the coast. If you get there, you'll like it.
As a result: If you are a fan of traveling, you are not here, not in this hotel, not in this area. There's nothing to do here, there's nowhere to go, there's nowhere to go on your own. There is nothing around. You can, of course, rent a bike or a car at an inflated price, but the travel distance is limited by the amount of gasoline in the tank. It is difficult to fill up rental cars in Cuba.
If you are a fan of relaxing on the beach, not thinking about anything and sipping cocktails - you are not in this hotel. You won't find cocktails here. Only pure rum and beer. You will be constantly looking for something here. Good food, water, soda, coffee, a place where they will make you a cocktail - you need to look for it, ask for it, buy it. But in most cases, you will hear "finish" in response.
But, of course, the ocean and the beach save the situation, everything becomes not so sad, and the vacation immediately begins to play with bright colors.

If we wanted to return to a previously visited hotel as soon as possible, then definitely not here. Well, only if it is very cheap and with a big difference in price with other hotels. We were in Varadero at PGS, although there are four, but it is more atmospheric, more soulful, more enchanting, real carnivals, holidays every day, umbrellas are given out at the reception during the rain, etc. A real, open and festive Cube that broke our hearts!!! The first, always interesting and exciting thing about Cuba is theft and change))) I waited with bated breath for the first cleaning.. Well, you know, a lot of stories))) I was pleasantly surprised, if not amazed to the core! We came in after the first day - everything is clean, the beds are made, a slight smell of chlorine-containing agent (honestly, I love it!), things that are not hidden in suitcases - everything is in place, bows from towels... In short, everything is OK. About the thefts: my daughter forgot her skirt and her jewelry on the bed more than once (before arriving, I prepared her in advance for the lizard to take everything that you throw on the bed into its hole, and we repeated this more than once), when on the beach she suddenly remembered that she had not removed it, then we we discussed that there might be an option that they are no longer there, BUT nothing has ever been stolen!!! The maid carefully put the children's things on the bedside table, made the beds and that's it. I would like to note that we had not given her any presents before and by the sixth day of our stay we did not even know what she looked like.. But they cleaned EVERY day (with the exception of February 24) and toilet paper was reported BEFORE one of the THREE rolls was finished.. Our friend from the 8th gave us $5 and asked us to get out... They never came to him. Apparently, it depends on the case.. We lived in the 9th. Periodically we went through this very 8th building, there are even stairwells in the trash, which is not to say about ours! By the way, there are no toilet brushes in the rooms, but the maid has them, she uses them 100% regularly 👌😅
And also, on the day when it rained and it got colder to +24🤣🤣🤣 after cleaning, they put blankets on us and rolled carrots out of them. Isn't this a service?))) True, the sheets they were hiding with were taken away, but you can easily return them by simply asking.

The territory of the hotel is large, quite green, modern rattan furniture.Wooden sun beds with large mattresses.I saw 2 pools, one for sports, the other for children.Since we always went to the ocean, maybe I didn't notice any.Wooden bridges lead to the beach.
A beautiful beach (by the way, this is how Playa Hermosa is translated from Spanish), there are enough sun beds and umbrellas.There is a bar, which is mostly rum, even cocktails are not all and not always.And the dark rum runs out fast.The boat station.We couldn't ride because of the bad weather, and there was almost always a red flag.

Conclusion:ONE BEAUTIFUL OCEAN IS NOT ENOUGH FOR A HOTEL TO HAVE A CATEGORY 5*

The shops are empty, just empty. There is no snack on the street. It is very dirty in the city (we visited Moron). A dead old transport, sometimes faulty. We took a jeep tour, so the residents there greeted us like superhumans, because we were in "cool" cars. And I was driving and thinking, as if she didn't fall apart on the way, she had something with the steering, she was thrown and thrown! Their national rum is sold by speculative dealers on the streets, and they have it much cheaper than the guide will offer. This is one of the disadvantages. And one of the advantages is the OCEAN!!!! It allows you to close your eyes to what was written above. A beautiful beach and a coastal area with cafes, giant swings and comfortable sun beds. I emphasize that the hotel is gorgeous. New, very comfortable and modern inside, it has swimming pools with free alcohol and snacks. I repeat, the food is very mediocre. It's just that when visiting this country, you can't just stay in a hotel, you want to see the sights. And it is going beyond it that plunges into deep despondency. They were in July 2023.

Among the disadvantages, I note the remoteness from other settlements, which affects the high price tag for the tour, one small shop on the territory of the hotel. But everything is compensated by the ocean and the good-natured attitude of the staff.
The hotel is good. Everything is new and clean. Our room was cleaned daily. The disadvantage is that there is nowhere else to go except the hotel. There's a swamp all around. The staff is friendly. Nice people, especially if you tip.
In general, it is tolerable, but the food is poor and the service is also lame. There is always rum and beer. The animators are trying 100%. The ocean is warm on the beach, vegetation is often washed up by tides, but they try to clean it up

The price decreased every day and on March 1, 2024, the day before our departure, the ticket cost already 160,000 rubles. The tour fell in price by 58,000rubles, the first doubts appeared, but it was too late, Pegasus had a 100% cancellation penalty.

What anyone wants after a 14-hour flight is, of course, to take a shower. But there was no hot water, the cold was weak. The girl Anna (the representative of the hotel) has her desk next to the reception, she is responsible for the work of the hotel, writes down comments, etc. I ask her, "What about the water, when this problem is solved, or will you replace our room with hot water?" Anna's answer: "They are engaged!". It was not clear when the breakdown would be fixed and we would wash. I say to Anna: "Is this problem only today, or is it in Building 6 at all?". Anna answers: "Just today." We go to our room, get acquainted with the neighbors who not only do not have hot water, but also do not flush the toilet. This problem has not been fixed for three days since the arrival of our neighbors, i.e. Anna, knowing the problem, because the entire 6th building obviously lied to us.
The room itself looks nice, if you don't look closely, because dust and dirt are everywhere, the floor is sticky. The bed has hair, definitely not my wife's. The rooms are not cleaned, towels are not changed and the cherry on the cake, toilet paper 1 roll for the whole stay, as well as water, which will not be brought to you anymore. If you think that you will quickly resolve the issue with the paper now, this is not quite true. Here are some tips for you. Going to the toilet at the reception or to any other toilet on the territory of the hotel will not give its fruits, there is no paper there, with both men's and women's. Napkins are not a bad analogue, but they are not given at dinner in the main restaurant, there is still water to wash (but there is no water) and the neighbors, but they also have 1 roll. It turned out to find napkins in the snack bar, so write down this life hack, unless of course you want to relax in Cuba, but go on quests at Woovo Playa Hermosa Cayo Paredon Resort.
If you knew what this hotel feeds, you would 100% take with you doshiraki, etc., and this is not ironic, this is in fact. Those days that we were in this "Five", we did not eat normally at all, we ate on March 5th, but we had to change the hotel. Croissants were good from Moscow, they were stretched.
And so the menu: unpeeled onions, bean soup, pieces of burnt nuggets, aldente pasta (perhaps they were not cooked at all). Did you think there would be vegetables in Hermosa? Tomatoes, cucumbers - you won't find them there. There will be a lot of cabbage, so you definitely need to love this dish. Severed fish heads in blood are generally a masterpiece, as are severed animal limbs. The series "American Horror Story" needs to take note of this menu (photos are attached).
It's time to go hungry and drink the classic Cuba Libre, rum and Cola among the common people. But even here you will find the phrase in which my wife and I renamed the hotel, this is the word "Finish". There is no Cola, there is no sprite, there are no juices, there is only watermelon mass for a big fan.

Let's go back to the room, there is a coffee machine waiting for you, but there are no capsules, so this is a design element of your room, no more. There is a Wi-Fi router in the room, and sometimes you can even access the Internet, but it crashes all the time and you need to re-enter the data. A life hack to save everything to notes and "copy" then "paste", but I just connected roaming and forgot about this hemorrhoids with the router.
After a day of arrival at 8:30 a.m., we were all gathered in the amphitheater and the representative of Pegasus told us that Cuba is the ocean and nature, prepared vacationers, that's all, and of course excursions. Next, I approached Olga (a representative of Pegasus), she said that this is the most bottomless hotel in her 13 years and for representatives of Pegasus to come to Woovo Playa Hermosa Cayo Paredon Resort is a regular stress. Another case when they did not want to change the number of a girl with a child and he was sleeping, attention.. in a down jacket! The air conditioner went crazy and worked only for cooling, the staff spread their hands, then turned off the plugs and electricity, but the air conditioner continued to work. The hotel staff just ran away from her like from a fire. Why solve the problem if you can escape, Olga works in the same way at Pegasus.
On March 5th, the boiling point overflowed the cup and we left this "5-star Hotel" for a 4-star hotel in Sol Cayo Coco, paid ~ 450€ for the remaining days and a taxi to the hotel for $ 60.
We arrived at lunch, we were promptly checked in. We had a delicious meal, washed up, drank rum and Cola and started our vacation in Cuba. Who rested in early March at Hermosa, we can unite for a collective complaint and refund, the hotel is not something that does not correspond to 5 stars, this hotel has a bestial attitude, not edible products, lack of service.

Vacation in June 2023. The hotel is new. Clear. Rains are rare. The sea is gorgeous. There is food, you will not stay hungry. The hotel is half full and it's a thrill. And there are no crowds and it's not lonely.
Of the disadvantages, the scorching sun is replaced by mosquitoes. Well, the usual Cuban laid-back service in the eternal siesta mode. Also in June 2023, there is a fuel problem and renting a car is expensive and risky. That's why we took excursions. It's boring to sit in a hotel for the whole vacation.
The hotel itself is good , clean, but a big minus , as they wrote here in the reviews - there were flies in July 2023 , there are sooooooo many of them here, I read reviews about mosquitoes before , they were not met , but were ready for such a meeting.
The ocean is clean, the sand is soft, there were a lot of tourists, queues everywhere.
The food is passable, there is a lot of it, but from what you could really eat, it was fish, grilled meat. Have you ever tried pizza with carrots?No , then you should come here , well , that's it.
Alcohol is normal. The rum is delicious, the beer is one kind of "crystal", too, OK.
If you want to go on excursions, then I would not recommend Kayo, since excursions from here are very expensive. We rented a car to drive around the island ourselves (the cost is $ 75 per day, 100 km , then there is an additional fee for km and benz) a mechanical box)
From the hotel itself at 9.00 there is a red bus to the Chaika, where you can buy souvenirs or walk to Playa largo (15 minutes walk), the fare is $ 10 per person round trip.
The hotel is excellent, new, modern, the territory is not large, but cozy. The beach is gorgeous. The visitors are 90% Russian-speaking. The animation is just as good. For an adequate price, I recommend the hotel.

They often write negatively about the food at the hotel... It is impossible to stay hungry. Yes, the food is simple, yes, it is not always delicious, sometimes you have to look for a fork (but not for long :)) But, we must make allowances for the fact that this is Cuba! and compare it with the 5th in Turkey...not worth it.
The snow-white beach and turquoise ocean can smooth out any, in your opinion, shortcoming of the hotel.

It's a beautiful place. Good rooms, there is no cleaning, the room is dirty at the entrance, toilet paper 1 roll for the entire check-in, there is no replenishment of water, there is food, water, rum, beer, upi-concentate chemical mixed in water, wine 15 minutes after opening the dining room, spoons and forks are missing if they arrived 15-20 minutes after opening.
The hotel is super, new rooms, good cleaning, good food, high-quality branded alcohol. The beach is simply magnificent, fine snow-white sand, a gentle entrance, the absence of large waves.
The hotel is normal, we visited it in September 2023 and were there for 11 days, here it cost us 145 thousand for two for all inclusive. For this money, the rest is a big bomb, the hotel is awesome!!!

Hotel: new, opened in May/June. If you are lucky enough to go straight to a normal room, then it will be quite good. The codey condenses, the refrigerator cools, the washbasin washes. BUT why is there no brush in any room???
The territory is excellent, there are a lot of free entertainment: big and small tennis, swimming boards, a gym, etc. There is not much vegetation yet, I think it will be very green in a couple of years.
Staff: when going on a trip, take at least 50 one-dollar bills with you for tea, your stay is much easier with it. They serve "Cuban style" they cook terribly, at the end of the rest the whole company had stomach aches, they clean up every other time and not everything, the minibar was replenished 1 time and a can of Cola was stolen!!! In the bar in the dining room, instead of pouring alcohol at my request, they point with their finger where the glass, ice and the desired drink are.
Alcohol itself is scarce, as a rule it is rum with something that is at hand, sometimes you can get to the pinacolada and once they made a margarita.
The electricity was turned off once for a whole day, the water was turned off twice, there were difficult days…

It's rare to take a shower in the morning. These are the "little things" that interfere with a good rest.
MILKING CUBA is a cool hotel, the whole family had a rest at a ridiculous price. We can assume that we paid for the flight, and the hotel was given as a gift for 2 weeks. The beach is good, the rooms are too, the only drawbacks are the food.
The hotel is new, built in 2020, the rooms are large, fresh, modern. Large and well-maintained territory, 3 swimming pools, 6 bars, 5 restaurants. The ocean is 100 meters away.
We were at the hotel from August 7 to August 20.
The hotel partially changed its name in early June.
We bought the tour in mid-July, at the same time the rating of the hotel began to deteriorate, by our arrival it had already fallen from 4.9 to 3.1. There were many negative reviews and unfortunately many of them turned out to be true.
This review is a description for ordinary tourists who are going to this hotel or going to.
Check-in.
From 16-00. It didn't take us more than an hour.
Some of them were checked in for 3 hours during our arrival.
There are cases of check-in in some arrivals, check-in 3-5 hours.
About the numbers.
There are 2 types of rooms. Standard and Deluxe. With and without sea view. If you are not going to spend time in the room, then you do not need a view of the sea (ocean).
The rooms are different from the rest of Cuba, new, spacious, comfortable, have everything you need, the hotels on the same VARADERO are old, the rooms are very tired.
The sockets in the rooms are European, no plug adapters are needed.
The quietest buildings are 1 and 2, the rest have their own news, proximity to the amphitheater, pools, beach bar, where loud events can take place in the evenings and nights. But this is not very critical. Double-glazed windows, sound insulation are quite good.
Building 10 is a building with the most beautiful ocean view, 2.3 floor end rooms.
The jambs with the rooms may be as follows, the safe does not work, the key card, the door lock, the air conditioner, there is no set of bed linen, there is a leak from the ceiling, there is no water at all, there is no cold water (in part 3 of the building such a problem has been since 08/04/2023 and the problem has most likely not been solved so far). You won't be able to take a shower. Flush the toilet too. And these are not all the problems, but only the most basic ones. If none of this has happened to you, consider yourself lucky.
Room cleaning. We were cleaned every day (1-3 buildings), the bed was made, everything is fine. We always leave tips in hotels ($1 is enough).
Friends in the 2nd building did not have cleaning for several days, the cleaner did not enter the room at all.
We did not have cold water in 2 rooms in the 3rd building (i.e. there is no way to take a shower, there is no way to flush the toilet, the room is not suitable for living), as it turned out later there was no water even before our arrival, at least since August 4, half of the 3rd building, the hotel staff and pegasus they knew about this problem, but they settled in illiquid rooms unsuitable for living and decided to feed them with breakfast, the same song that everything will be fixed tomorrow. They weren't going to fix anything. This can be called cheating.
Moving in a good way will not work, the hotel is overcrowded, we had to swear and very much.
Minor problems are solved slowly, the key did not work, it will be reset at the reception quickly, the lock does not work, it takes longer (you wait for the master until the batteries are changed in the lock or the lock itself is not reset)
The guesthouse (gestservice) is smiling, they say everything is recorded, wait.
This can go on for several days. When asked to move to another room, they will say there are no rooms, then they will start to ignore, later they will be rude at all (this mainly concerns the blonde aunt, who communicates there the most)
A man of about 50 and a guy named Will, normal, balanced, do not turn to rudeness. Something can be solved with them. The issue of relocation was eventually resolved through this man, although given the conflict that developed and the fact that the hotel security was connected, this is such an option. I don't want to get on my nerves on vacation, but I just had to.
The staff of the flying horse only impose excursions and try to get it into everyone's head from the doorstep that all the problems of them and the hotel are the norm for Cuba. If you approach them with problems, they will say that they will help, but when you come up again and demand to solve another long-standing problem, they will start ignoring and being rude to you. Which is not acceptable in principle. At best, only minor minor problems will be solved. If this is the policy of these employees, then they need to be fired. If the politics of the flying horse in general, then this is generally the bottom...
Restaurant/Canteen.
You won't stay hungry, but there are nuances.
You can find something to eat, not everything is delicious. Turkish employees are trying to change something.
The food began to be prepared with spices, meat, chicken, fish are marinated, which gives flavor.
Breakfast. When there are real eggs, everything is fine. When there are no eggs, it's a disaster, they cook scrambled eggs, omelets from some kind of diluted mixture that vaguely resemble eggs, it's impossible to eat. We had eggs for only 3 days out of 12 days.
Breakfast is saved by jamon, fruits, papaya, mango. However, mango is not enough for everyone, and recently they have been spreading it not ripe. By the way, the mango season in Cuba is from May to August.
Lunch and dinner. It's about the same, different types of fish and meat change, not very diverse, but you can find something to eat. Soups came to us normally, always a couple of types cooked in meat broths. Well, again, jamon and fruits.
Wednesday is a Cuban day, a day of eating at the hotel, lunch and dinner are a little more fun, they serve shrimp, fried porridge and something else.
There was no bread at all on our arrival for a couple of days. The chefs from Turkey were trying to make something, some kind of tortillas like loaves.
At lunch, burgers and pickled chicken are grilled at the snack bar, very similar to an ordinary barbecue, you can eat delicious food, but there is not enough queue, it is still a pleasure to stand on the baking.
Snack bar - during the day it is more or less normal, the food is there, then not, especially after 22-00. Sometimes there is no bread, then something else. That is, there are no drinks except for one kind of concentrate. The rum is only white. Then there is nothing at all. It's sad.
Tables are cleaned, appliances are laid out more quickly when Turkish employees are present in the dining room.
Sometimes you can't find spoons and soup plates. If you ask, they will most likely say that there are none. But if you ask the staff from Turkey, then all this is immediately found, several times they personally took out spoons and plates to us.
There is no place for the squeamish here. The sanitation is complete. Flies in the dining room will disable many people on their first trip to the dining room. They are trying to fight them, poison them, use electric fly swatches, but so far the flies are winning. There are practically no flies in alyakart restaurants. So they either fight badly in the dining room, or they don't want to beat them)
The rags used to wipe the tables feel like they are not even washed with the product, after wiping the next table you will feel this stench. It feels like the rags haven't changed since the opening of the hotel.
In the snack bar and on the lobby bar, a couple of grooves got that washed plastic cups were taken out and drinks were poured into them.
Drinking water is periodically poured from the tap. That's why we always asked to pour water for us only from bottles.
The bed linen was washed, but we had everything with spots of some kind of blood-dirty color.
We also had cockroaches in our room in the 1st floor. We didn't see them in Building 3.
Alyakart restaurants.
There were 3 restaurants (Cuban, Mediterranean, Italian) open during our check-in.
Restaurants are worth visiting, the dishes are different from the main dining room. Least of all we liked Italian. I liked the Mediterranean one the most. Pumpkin soup is great.
Well, if you don't eat enough, then go to the main dining room.
Bars. It's fine as long as there are drinks. Normal bartenders on the beach, there are a couple of guys there, they are generally attentive to your preferences and try to please. There are a couple of normal employees in the lobby bar.
The cigar bar is probably the best bartender. Yonel is a great, sociable person, when he is not too tired and there are ingredients, he does everything with a soul. You definitely need to try the flamecofe (even just for the wow effect during cooking), white Russian, mango daiquiri (if you get a ripe mango) and something else. In our opinion, this is generally the best employee in the hotel. He brought a lot of the equipment in the cigar bar from his house and bought it with his own money.
The minus of the cigar bar can already be understood from its name, the smell of cigars, tobacco is very strong, it's hard to stay there for a long time, you stink of cigar smoke all over. Grab cocktails and go sit in the lobby.
Pools.
3 large and 1 children's (very nursery).
In two bars directly without leaving the pool, in one you need to walk a little to the bar.
Everything seems to be fine, but it was so that the adult was not cleaned for 3 days, the water there became cloudy, which is disgusting to go there. I liked the illuminated pool near the snack bar, they didn't kick it out at night, as it usually happens. Only a couple of times the guard came up after 12:00 and showed a text on his phone that he needed to get out because cleaning would be carried out.
Animation.
Kaya-she is nothing.
Everything that is spent on the beach is very normal (dancing, yoga, aerobics in the ocean, contests, beach party), the guys are trying, well done.
By the way, the meeting at the hotel with animators-dancers is very pleasing and gives a positive impression upon arrival.
Everything that is held in the evening in the amphitheater and in the lobby is some kind of nonsense, we looked at it a couple of times and then did not go there at all.
The only Michael Jackson show went somewhere during our check-in, and there were good reviews about it.
Also, an appeal to the Russian-speaking animator girl, do not turn Cuba into Anapa. A lot of overkill with Russian music. More Cuban, foreign, beach music and a little bit of Russian (just a little bit). Well, or do it for one day of Russian music, and on the other days less of it.
The beach and the ocean.
Great ocean, nice beach, plenty of sun beds. You can find a place at any time. There are plenty of places from 8 to 9 in general. Then from 12 o'clock the places are vacated, somewhere by 16-00 the beach is filled up again. Entering the ocean with nuances, take corals or crocs, then you will enter the water in any part of the beach. Or there is a normal approach at the boat station.
At the boat station, you can rent a kayak, catamaran and sailboat for free. But because of the wind and waves, we managed to sail a sailboat 1 time during the whole time. The sailboat is recorded day after day from 9-00. You also need to sign up for a catamaran, but there is almost always free time there.
Lighthouse.
You can walk along the shore, walk for about 30 minutes, but there are parts of the way with very sharp stones, you need stable shoes with thick soles,
I walked in crocs. You can walk back by road in 30 minutes.
The second option is to drive an electric hotel car. Drivers ask for $2 one way. 5 dollars if you need to wait there and take you back.(the price is per car, not per person). They used to drive for free. It takes 3-4 minutes to drive.
Tourist island bus. Chaika Shopping Center (La Gaviota). Pilar Beach (Playa Pilar).
Bus with transfers - 10€/$ per day. You can get to Chaika (La Gaviota) (shopping center (souvenirs, rum, cigars) prices are not the cheapest. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Chaika.
The first one departs 9-00 from lobi.
You can also drive to Pillar Beach with a transfer.
The bus driver will tell you where to transfer. When boarding, tell me that you are up to Pilar. At the Seagull (La Gaviota), transfer to another bus to the Pillar and drive for about 1.5 hours. The bus stops at all the hotels on the way. You arrive at Pilar Beach at about 11:00. Back by the same route departure from Pilar at 13-00. Transfer at the Seagull at 15-00. You will have about 30 minutes for Tea. Arrive at the hotel at about 15-30.
The entrance to the beach is free. On the beach, you can just throw your towels on the sand, you can take a sunbed (an open one is $ 5, with an umbrella only a couple of $ 10) drinks at the beach bar for $ 5. Take a couple of bottles of water with you from the hotel. There is a toilet and shower at the entrance/exit to the beach. Pillar beach differs very much from the Paradonovsky hotel. Soft sand, almost complete calm, no rocks at the entrance to the water. Beautiful beach. Be careful, there are jellyfish in the water on this beach.
About the theft at the hotel.
Nothing was stolen from us and our friends (we lived in 3 different rooms and buildings), nothing was missing. Various things were always lying on the table, in shelves, in drawers in the room, but they did not leave anything particularly valuable in sight, everything was in place.
We have observed several times when people themselves simply forgot their phones, speakers somewhere. Then they found them. A couple of times, such vacationers contacted loobbi with this question and they were given their found things.
This does not mean that you need to relax your loaves and completely lose your vigilance.
About vacationers.
Almost all the vacationers during our stay were normal, positive, adequate people, which is very pleasing.
There were exceptions. In principle, all these exceptions can be called in one word - pigs, but they did not grunt, which is strange. The biggest pigs lived in the first building, I saw so much garbage, plates, glasses, food scattered around the building for the first time. People are too lazy to throw something in the trash and take the plates to where they were taken.
There were the same piggies by the pools and on the beach, abandoned plates, glasses, scattered steers, except they didn't shit on the sunbed, and thanks for that.
And another kind of piggy, these are people who are drunk on alcohol, who climb ahead of the queue in front of the children and everyone to get more alcoholics, while defiantly showing that they put one dollar in the piggy bank to the bartenders and like they should immediately serve them. It looked funny and disgusting at the same time. And fortunately, bartenders sometimes simply ignored such people. And there were few such people.
There was also a nauseating DJ, someone called him a ritualist (because of his love of classic costumes), someone a paretetomol (because of gifts to the staff of these medicines), someone even liked him. His inadequacy was only in one thing, to turn on his column everywhere. He got half of the campers, that's for sure.
About the money.
If you are going to go on excursions through pehas, then take €, if through the locals, then take $, and in general, at the moment it is better to take $, because the locals have 1 € = 1$. Large bills can be changed at the bartenders or at the reception, when there is a change, they change. Also, if you are going on an excursion to Trinidad, Havana or somewhere else, ask the bartenders to change you a little $ for pesos, because it will be cheaper to buy something from the locals in pesos and not everywhere you can pay $ or €.
Tips.
We always leave tips on trips and do not expect any special treatment because of this. We don't tip in advance to get some kind of loyalty, as some people do here. Here, $ 1 with a fair amount of frequency will be enough for maids, bartenders, and other staff. We tipped the staff at the outdoor grill a couple of times. We left gifts for the girl from the reception who extended our room (only three rooms were able to extend the room that day), they were given to us at the time of our departure, she was surprised and very glad.
Tips and gifts are at your discretion, but if you liked the service, attitude, leave a tip, do not squeeze.
Pegasus.
About excursions from a flying horse, as everywhere else, the prices from the tour operator are more expensive than you can get from the locals.
Also, with the tour operator, the excursion group will be large, and with the locals only you or someone else with you who is traveling in the same car.

Until everything is fixed, the rating of this hotel is 2-3*, no more. The price tag for this hotel is very high. With those nuances that you may encounter, the price of this hotel for 11-12 nights for two is a maximum of 140-170t.r (In this place, the staff of pehas burns very much and they write that only plane tickets cost so much, that you want a lot, that Turkia is more expensive, and here the ocean and other nonsense), although those who were there and got to all the disadvantages, even for this money, they probably won't go there.
