An excellent and relatively inexpensive hotel in the western part of Cologne. A very friendly girl at the reception told us everything that interested us. We had a two-room studio room with 4 beds, corner, on the 2nd floor. Everything in the room was snow-white. Furniture and other things without any special signs of antiquity. Clear. Thanks to the stove and the pan, they cooked at home. A good location, if you go from the airport - the S19 direct train goes 20 minutes to the Technologie Park station. From there, slowly 5-7 minutes to the hotel. Lidl supermarket is just a 2-3 minute walk away. Everything you need is there.
Actually, from the nuances of the hotel itself, I will note check-in from 15:00 (although we arrived at 15:30, it is ideal for us). This time may not be very suitable for someone. The reception is open until 19:00. Then the hotel is locked, the entrance is with keys. I will also note some distance from the center of Cologne. We didn't have any problems, but again, this may not be suitable for someone. The tram is 10-15 minutes away on foot. Then there are 7-9 tram stops (depending on where you want to get off, about 20 minutes) and here it is, the center of Cologne, with all its charms. In general, an excellent hotel is far from the main traffic.
These are very private flaws of the star. Everything is ascetic and not ordinary, but it works properly.
The breakfasts are not plentiful, but decent.
I didn't like that the reception starts working at 9 a.m., and questions may arise at 7 or 8 a.m.
Not a very pleasant location, but only 3 stations from the train station and the cathedral. The rooms are large, there is even a kitchen with a stove and dishes.
