I really liked the hostel. Cleanliness, comfort, and most importantly a quiet calm atmosphere, polite and friendly administrators helped with calling a taxi. I recommend a good place to stay at reasonable prices. Next time, only to you.
I came to this hostel completely by accident. And I didn't regret at all that I chose him. Yes, of course, there may be some nuances in accommodation, but when you only come there to spend the night, then everything is fine. There is a kitchen, refrigerators, microwave, enough dishes. The hostel is cleaned several times a day. Therefore, there are no complaints about cleanliness. There are rooms for any wallet -from 300 tenge and up to 2000. And the most important thing, at least for me, is that it is not far from the center. All the sights are within walking distance, well, or 2-3 stops away. Since this is my first time in Astana, I always turned to the administrator with questions about the sights and she always helped me. I don't remember her name, my patronymic is Sultanovna. The wish is to wear badges with a first name and patronymic and an indication of the position. There are many cafes nearby where you can enjoy delicious and inexpensive national or traditional dishes.
We booked a room in this hostel very badly. After 10 minutes we were moved to a common room. Our room was rented out because another visitor paid 2000t more for this room. In general, I terribly advise not to whom this hostel is 👎👎👎👎
Terrible hostel. You don't even know where to start, it feels like it's not a hostel, but some kind of guest worker's hut. Everything in the rooms is falling apart: the ceiling, wallpaper on the walls; toilets do not close, the shower is leaking, everything is old; in the kitchen, the dishes are old, besides there is very little of it, everything is burnt. The sleeping place is not cleaned at all and the bed does not change, a whole bag of garbage was collected after the previous tenant. And of course, I was upset by the different price tag for residents and non-residents
Kabanbai Batyr Street is a very long street, and I lived there a little bit, there was a great hostel there, it's called McKenty House, and I really liked this hostel, I lived there for a long time.
It's just a terrible hostel. The suite is dusty, the furniture is battered, as if no one had cleaned it for a long time. The mattress on the bed is all crooked. The ceiling was leaking and at some point just the plaster from the ceiling fell off in a big piece and fell right on my feet (thanks not on my head!) and she got the whole bed dirty.
It's scary to remember about the common area at all. The toilets are dirty, there was never any toilet paper at all. The shower is weak. In the kitchen, all the dishes are old, the filter jug is old, cloudy, I didn't even drink, because what a jug, the filter can be just as ancient.
Fortunately, I only spent one night. I will never come back and I will not advise you.
